Genesis 48:19
ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವನ ತಂದೆಯು ಒಪ್ಪದೆ--ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಿತು, ನನ್ನ ಮಗನೇ, ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಿತು. ಅವನು ಸಹ ಜನಾಂಗವಾಗುವದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ದೊಡ್ಡವನಾ ಗುವನು. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಅವನ ತಮ್ಮನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಅವನಿಗಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡವನಾಗುವನು. ಅವನ ಸಂತ ತಿಯು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಸಮೂಹವಾಗುವದು ಅಂದನು.

ಆಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲನು ತನ್ನ ಬಲಗೈಯನ್ನು ಚಾಚಿ ಚಿಕ್ಕವನಾದ ಎಫ್ರಾಯಾಮನ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ತನ್ನ ಎಡಗೈಯನ್ನು ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯ ತಲೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಇಟ್ಟನು. ಮನಸ್ಸೆಯು ಹಿರಿಯವನಾಗಿದ್ದರೂ ಬೇಕೆಂದೇ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟನು.
Genesis 25:28
ಏಸಾವನು ಬೇಟೆಯಾಡಿ ತಂದ ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ಇಸಾಕನು ತಿಂದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡಿದನು. ರೆಬೆಕ್ಕಳು ಯಾಕೋಬನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಮಾಡಿದಳು.
