Ecclesiastes 10 - YLT (Kannada)

1 Dead flies cause a perfumer's perfume To send forth a stink; The precious by reason of wisdom -- By reason of honour -- a little folly!ಸತ್ತ ನೊಣಗಳು ವೈದ್ಯನ ತೈಲವನ್ನು ದುರ್ವಾಸನೆಗೊಳಿಸುತ್ತವೆ; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಮೂಢತನವು ಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಘನಗಳಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಿಯ ನಾದವನನ್ನು ಕೆಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

2 The heart of the wise `is' at his right hand, And the heart of a fool at his left.ಒಬ್ಬ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯಾದ ಮನು ಷ್ಯನ ಹೃದಯವು ಅವನ ಬಲಗೈಯಲ್ಲಿರುತ್ತದೆ; ಆದರೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮೂರ್ಖನ ಹೃದಯವು ಅವನ ಎಡಗಡೆಯಿ ರುತ್ತದೆ.

3 And also, when he that is a fool Is walking in the way, his heart is lacking, And he hath said to every one, `He `is' a fool.'ಹೌದು, ಮೂರ್ಖನು ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆ ಯುವಾಗಲೂ ಸಹ ಅವನ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಅವನನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಅವನು ತಾನು ಮೂರ್ಖನೆಂದು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನಿಗೂ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

4 If the spirit of the ruler go up against thee, Thy place leave not, For yielding quieteth great sinners.ಆಳುವವನ ಆತ್ಮವು ನಿನಗೆ ವಿರುದ್ಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸ್ಥಳವನ್ನು ಬಿಡಬೇಡ; ತಾಳ್ಮೆಯು ಅಭ್ಯಂತರಗಳನ್ನು ತಡೆಯುತ್ತದೆ.

5 There is an evil I have seen under the sun, As an error that goeth out from the ruler,ಆಳುವ ವನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಿಂದ ಹೊರಟು ಬರುವ ತಪ್ಪಿನ ಹಾಗಿ ರುವ ಒಂದು ಕೇಡನ್ನು ನಾನು ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಕೆಳಗೆ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

6 He hath set the fool in many high places, And the rich in a low place do sit.ಮೂರ್ಖತನವು ಬಹಳ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿಡಲ್ಪಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಸಿರಿತನವು ಕೆಳಗಿನ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು.

7 I have seen servants on horses, And princes walking as servants on the earth.ನಾನು ಕುದುರೆಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನೂ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು ಸೇವಕರ ಹಾಗೆ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನಡೆಯುವದನ್ನೂ ನೋಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

8 Whoso is digging a pit falleth into it, And whoso is breaking a hedge, a serpent biteth him.ಯಾವನು ಕುಣಿಯನ್ನು ಅಗೆಯುವನೋ ಅದರಲ್ಲೇ ಅವನು ಬೀಳುವನು; ಯಾವನು ಬೇಲಿಯನ್ನು ಮುರಿ ಯುವನೋ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹಾವು ಕಚ್ಚುವದು.

9 Whoso is removing stones is grieved by them, Whoso is cleaving trees endangered by them.ಯಾವನು ಕಲ್ಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೀಳುವನೋ ಅವುಗಳಿಂದ ಅವನು ನೋವುಪಡುವನು; ಯಾವನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕಡಿಯುವನೋ ಅದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಅಪಾಯಗೊಳ್ಳುವನು.

10 If the iron hath been blunt, And he the face hath not sharpened, Then doth he increase strength, And wisdom `is' advantageous to make right.ಕಬ್ಬಿಣ ಮೊಂಡಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅದರ ಬಾಯಿಯನ್ನು ಮಸೆಯದಿ ದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ತಪ್ಪದೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬಲವನ್ನು ಹಾಕಬೇಕು; ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಬದುಕಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಾಗಿದೆ.

11 If the serpent biteth without enchantment, Then there is no advantage to a master of the tongue.ನಿಶ್ಚಯ ವಾಗಿ ಮಂತ್ರವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಹಾವು ಕಚ್ಚುವದು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಹರಟೆಯವನಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯೋಜನವಿಲ್ಲ.

12 Words of the mouth of the wise `are' gracious, And the lips of a fool swallow him up.ಜ್ಞಾನಿಯ ಬಾಯಿಮಾತುಗಳು ಆನಂದಕರವಾಗಿವೆ; ಮೂರ್ಖನ ತುಟಿಗಳು ಅವನನ್ನೇ ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುತ್ತವೆ.

13 The beginning of the words of his mouth `is' folly, And the latter end of his mouth `Is' mischievous madness.ಅವನ ಬಾಯಿಯು ಮಾತುಗಳು ಆರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂಢತನ ದವುಗಳಾಗಿವೆ; ಅವನ ಮಾತಿನ ಅಂತ್ಯವು ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಮೂರ್ಖತನವಾಗಿದೆ.

14 And the fool multiplieth words: `Man knoweth not that which is, And that which is after him, who doth declare to him?'ಮೂಢನು ಸಹ ಮಾತು ಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಆದರೂ ಅವನು ಏನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯವಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವನ ತರುವಾಯ ಆಗುವದನ್ನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರು?

15 The labour of the foolish wearieth him, In that he hath not known to go unto the city.ಮೂರ್ಖನ ಕಷ್ಟವು ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ದಣಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯದು.

16 Wo to thee, O land, when thy king `is' a youth, And thy princes do eat in the morning.ಓ ದೇಶವೇ, ಹುಡುಗನು ನಿನ್ನ ಅರಸನಾಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ಊಟಮಾಡಿದ್ದರೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ!

17 Happy art thou, O land, When thy king `is' a son of freemen, And thy princes do eat in due season, For might, and not for drunkenness.ಓ ದೇಶವೇ, ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠರ ಮಗನು ನಿನ್ನ ಅರಸನಾದರೆ ಮತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು ತಕ್ಕಕಾಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ ಅಮಲಿಗಾಗಿ ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ಶಕ್ತಿಗಾಗಿ ಊಟ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಆಶೀರ್ವಾದವಾಗಲಿ.

18 By slothfulness is the wall brought low, And by idleness of the hands doth the house drop.ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಸೋಮಾರಿತನದಿಂದ ತೊಲೆಗಳು ಜಗ್ಗುತ್ತವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಜೋಲುಗೈಯಿಂದ ಮನೆಗಳು ಸೋರುವವು.

19 For mirth they are making a feast, And wine maketh life joyful, And the silver answereth with all.ನಗೆಗಾಗಿ ಔತಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ. ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವು ಸಂತೋಷ ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಹಣವು ಸಮಸ್ತಕ್ಕೂ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಡುತ್ತದೆ.

20 Even in thy mind a king revile not, And in the inner parts of thy bed-chamber Revile not the rich: For a fowl of the heavens causeth the voice to go, And a possessor of wings declareth the word.ನಿಮ್ಮ ಊಹೆಯಲ್ಲೂ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ, ನೀವು ಮಲಗುವ ಕೋಣೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಶಪಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳು ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ಒಯ್ಯು ವವು; ರೆಕ್ಕೆಯುಳ್ಳವುಗಳು ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವವು.
