Deuteronomy 2 - ASV (Kannada)

1 Then we turned, and took our journey into the wilderness by the way to the Red Sea, as Jehovah spake unto me; and we compassed mount Seir many days.ಆಗ ನಾವು ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕೆಂಪು ಸಮುದ್ರದ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಅರಣ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೊರಟು ಅನೇಕ ದಿವಸಗಳು ಸೇಯಾರ್‌ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡೆವು.

2 And Jehovah spake unto me, saying,ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--

3 Ye have compassed this mountain long enough: turn you northward.ನೀವು ಈ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಸುತ್ತಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದು ಸಾಕು, ಉತ್ತರಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.

4 And command thou the people, saying, Ye are to pass through the border of your brethren the children of Esau, that dwell in Seir; and they will be afraid of you: take ye good heed unto yourselves therefore;ನೀನು ಜನರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ನೀವು ಸೇಯಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಏಸಾವನ ಕುಮಾರರ ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಬೇಕು; ಅವರು ನಿಮಗೆ ಭಯಪಡುವರು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ನೀವು ಬಹಳ ಜಾಗ್ರತೆಯಿಂದಿರಬೇಕು.

5 contend not with them; for I will not give you of their land, no, not so much as for the sole of the foot to tread on; because I have given mount Seir unto Esau for a possession.ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಜಗಳವಾಡಬೇಡಿರಿ. ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ಅವರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾದದಷ್ಟೂ ಸ್ಥಳ ಕೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಸೇಯಾರ್‌ ಬೆಟ್ಟವನ್ನು ಏಸಾವನಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನಲ್ಲಾ.

6 Ye shall purchase food of them for money, that ye may eat; and ye shall also buy water of them for money, that ye may drink.ನೀವು ಉಣ್ಣುವ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಅವ ರಿಂದ ಹಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು; ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರನ್ನು ಸಹ ಅವರಿಂದ ಹಣಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು.

7 For Jehovah thy God hath blessed thee in all the work of thy hand; he hath known thy walking through this great wilderness: these forty years Jehovah thy God hath been with thee; thou hast lacked nothing.ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕೈಕೆಲಸದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ನೀನು ಈ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಅರಣ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ಆತನು ಬಲ್ಲನು; ಈ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರುಷ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಿನಗೆ ಏನೂ ಕಡಿಮೆ ಆಗಲಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

8 So we passed by from our brethren the children of Esau, that dwell in Seir, from the way of the Arabah from Elath and from Ezion-geber. And we turned and passed by the way of the wilderness of Moab.ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಾವು ಸೇಯಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುವ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋದರರಾದ ಏಸಾವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಬೈಲಿನ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಏಲತ್‌, ಎಚ್ಯೋನ್ಗೆಬೆರ್‌ ಎಂಬ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಮುಂದಾಗಿ ದಾಟಿ ತಿರುಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಅರಣ್ಯದ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿ ಹಾದು ಹೋದೆವು.

9 And Jehovah said unto me, Vex not Moab, neither contend with them in battle; for I will not give thee of his land for a possession; because I have given Ar unto the children of Lot for a possession.ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ--ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಉಪದ್ರಕೊಡಬೇಡ; ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಜಗಳವಾಡಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಬೇಡ; ನಾನು ಅವರ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ನಾನು ಆರ್‌ ಅನ್ನು ಲೋಟನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನಲ್ಲವೇ ಅಂದನು.

10 (The Emim dwelt therein aforetime, a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakim:ಅದರೊಳಗೆ ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಏಮಿಯರು ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದರು. ಅವರು ಅನಾಕ್ಯರ ಹಾಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡವ ರಾಗಿಯೂ ಬಹಳವಾದವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಉದ್ದವಾದವ ರಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವ ಜನರು.

11 these also are accounted Rephaim, as the Anakim; but the Moabites call them Emim.ಅವರು ಅನಾಕ್ಯರ ಹಾಗೆ ಮಹಾಶರೀರಗಳೆನ್ನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡರು; ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಏಮಿಯರೆಂದು ಕರೆದರು.

12 The Horites also dwelt in Seir aforetime, but the children of Esau succeeded them; and they destroyed them from before them, and dwelt in their stead; as Israel did unto the land of his possession, which Jehovah gave unto them.)ಹೋರಿಯರು ಸಹ ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇಯಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದರು; ಆದರೆ ಏಸಾವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಎದುರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಹರಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರು, ಕರ್ತನು ತಮಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯದ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದರು.

13 Now rise up, and get you over the brook Zered. And we went over the brook Zered.ಈಗ ಎದ್ದು ಜೆರೆದ್‌ ಹಳ್ಳವನ್ನು ದಾಟಿರಿ ಅಂದಮೇಲೆ ನಾವು ಜೆರೆದ್‌ ಹಳ್ಳವನ್ನು ದಾಟಿದೆವು.

14 And the days in which we came from Kadesh-barnea, until we were come over the brook Zered, were thirty and eight years; until all the generation of the men of war were consumed from the midst of the camp, as Jehovah sware unto them.ನಾವು ಕಾದೇಶ್‌ಬರ್ನೆಯವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಂದಿನಿಂದ ಜೆರೆದ್‌ ಹಳ್ಳ ವನ್ನು ದಾಟಿದ ವರೆಗೆ ಹೋದ ಕಾಲವು ಮೂವ ತ್ತೆಂಟು ವರುಷ; ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಮಾಣಮಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಯುದ್ಧಸ್ಥರ ಸಂತತಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೈನ್ಯದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಮುಗಿದುಹೋಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ತಡವಾಯಿತು.

15 Moreover the hand of Jehovah was against them, to destroy them from the midst of the camp, until they were consumed.ಅವರು ಮುಗಿದುಹೋಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸೈನ್ಯದೊಳ ಗಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಹಸ್ತವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲಿತ್ತು.

16 So it came to pass, when all the men of war were consumed and dead from among the people,ಜನರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಸೈನಿಕರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸತ್ತುಹೋದ ನಂತರ

17 that Jehovah spake unto me, saying,ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ--ಇಂದು ನೀನು ಮೋವಾಬಿನ ಮೇರೆಯಾದ ಆರ್‌ ಅನ್ನು ದಾಟಬೇಕು;

18 Thou art this day to pass over Ar, the border of Moab:ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆದುರಿಗೆ ನೀನು ಬಂದರೆ ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉಪದ್ರ ಕೊಡಬೇಡ; ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಜಗಳವಾಡ ಬೇಡ;

19 and when thou comest nigh over against the children of Ammon, vex them not, nor contend with them; for I will not give thee of the land of the children of Ammon for a possession; because I have given it unto the children of Lot for a possession.ನಾನು ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ. ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಲೋಟನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟೆನಲ್ಲಾ ಅಂದನು.

20 (That also is accounted a land of Rephaim: Rephaim dwelt therein aforetime; but the Ammonites call them Zamzummim,(ಇದು ಸಹ ರಾಕ್ಷಸರ ದೇಶವೆನಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿತು; ಪೂರ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಕ್ಷಸರು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡಿದರು; ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಜಂಜುಮ್ಯರೆಂದು ಕರೆದರು.

21 a people great, and many, and tall, as the Anakim; but Jehovah destroyed them before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead;ಅವರು ಅನಾಕ್ಯರ ಹಾಗೆ ದೊಡ್ಡವರೂ ಬಹಳವಾದ ವರೂ ಉದ್ದವಾದವರೂ ಆಗಿರುವ ಜನರು; ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಇವರು ಅವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದರು.

22 as he did for the children of Esau, that dwell in Seir, when he destroyed the Horites from before them; and they succeeded them, and dwelt in their stead even unto this day:ಕರ್ತನು ಸೇಯಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿ ರುವ ಏಸಾವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗಾಯಿತು. ಅವನು ಅವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೋರಿಯರನ್ನು ನಾಶ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಅವರು ಇವರನ್ನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿ ಇವರ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಇಂದಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ವಾಸಿಸಿದ್ದವರಲ್ಲಾ.

23 and the Avvim, that dwelt in villages as far as Gaza, the Caphtorim, that came forth out of Caphtor, destroyed them, and dwelt in their stead.)ಹಾಗೆ ಹಚರೀಮಿನ ಅಜ್ಹದ ಪರ್ಯಂತರ ವಾಸ ವಾಗಿದ್ದ ಅವ್ವಿಯರನ್ನು ಕಫ್ತೋರಿಂದ ಹೊರಟ ಕಫ್ತೋರ್ಯರು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿ ಅವರ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ವಾಸಿಸಿದರು.)

24 Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the valley of the Arnon: behold, I have given into thy hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land; begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle.ಏಳಿರಿ, ಹೊರಡಿರಿ; ಅರ್ನೋನ್‌ ನದಿಯನ್ನು ದಾಟಿರಿ; ಇಗೋ, ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನ ಅರಸ ನಾದ ಅಮೋರಿಯನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ಸ್ವಾಧೀನ ಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಆರಂಭಮಾಡು. ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಜಗಳವಾಡಿ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡು.

25 This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the peoples that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear the report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee.ಇದೇ ದಿವಸ ಆಕಾಶವೆಲ್ಲಾದರ ಕೆಳಗಿರುವ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೆದರಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಭಯವನ್ನೂ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಲಾರಂಭಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಅವರು ನಿನ್ನ ಸುದ್ದಿಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ನಿನಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಡುಗಿ ಅಂಜುವರು.

26 And I sent messengers out of the wilderness of Kedemoth unto Sihon king of Heshbon with words of peace, saying,ಆಗ ನಾನು ಕೆದೇಮೋತೆಂಬ ಅರಣ್ಯದಿಂದ ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನಿಗೆ ಸಮಾಧಾನ ಸಂದೇಶ ದೂತರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ--

27 Let me pass through thy land: I will go along by the highway, I will turn neither unto the right hand nor to the left.ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇಶ ವನ್ನು ದಾಟಿಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ. ನಾನು ರಾಜ ಮಾರ್ಗ ದಿಂದಲೇ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಎಡಕ್ಕೂ ಬಲಕ್ಕೂ ತಿರುಗು ವದಿಲ್ಲ.

28 Thou shalt sell me food for money, that I may eat; and give me water for money, that I may drink: only let me pass through on my feet,ನೀನು ಹಣಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ನನಗೆ ಮಾರುವ ಆಹಾರವನ್ನು ಉಣ್ಣುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಹಣಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ನನಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿಯುತ್ತೇನೆ;

29 as the children of Esau that dwell in Seir, and the Moabites that dwell in Ar, did unto me; until I shall pass over the Jordan into the land which Jehovah our God giveth us.ಕಾಲ್ನಡಿಗೆಯಾಗಿ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನಷ್ಟೆ. ಸೇಯಾರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಏಸಾವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೂ ಆರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ಮಾಡುವ ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯರೂ ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ಯೊರ್ದನಿನ ಆಚೆಗೆ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಮಗೆ ಕೊಡುವ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋಗುವ ವರೆಗೆ ನನಗೆ ಮಾಡು ಅಂದೆನು.

30 But Sihon king of Heshbon would not let us pass by him; for Jehovah thy God hardened his spirit, and made his heart obstinate, that he might deliver him into thy hand, as at this day.ಆದರೆ ಹೆಷ್ಬೋನಿನ ಅರಸ ನಾದ ಸೀಹೋನನು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಯಿಂದ ದಾಟಿಹೋಗಲು ಮನಸ್ಸು ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನ ಬುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಮಂಕು ಮಾಡಿ ಹೃದಯವನ್ನು ಕಠಿಣಪಡಿಸಿದನೆಂದು ಈಗಾ ಗಲೇ ಪ್ರಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ.

31 And Jehovah said unto me, Behold, I have begun to deliver up Sihon and his land before thee: begin to possess, that thou mayest inherit his land.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಕರ್ತನು ನನಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ಸೀಹೋ ನನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ದೇಶವನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸು ವದಕ್ಕೆ ಆರಂಭಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಅವನ ದೇಶವನ್ನು ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಹೊಂದುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಸ್ವತಂತ್ರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಆರಂಭಮಾಡು ಅಂದನು.

32 Then Sihon came out against us, he and all his people, unto battle at Jahaz.ಆಗ ಸೀಹೋನನು ತನ್ನ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರ ಸಂಗಡ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಯಹ ಜಿಗೆ ಸವಿಾಪದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮೆದುರಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟನು.

33 And Jehovah our God delivered him up before us; and we smote him, and his sons, and all his people.ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟಿ ದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಜನರೆಲ್ಲರನ್ನೂ ಹೊಡೆದೆವು;

34 And we took all his cities at that time, and utterly destroyed every inhabited city, with the women and the little ones; we left none remaining:ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಗಂಡಸರನ್ನೂ ಹೆಂಗಸರನ್ನೂ ಚಿಕ್ಕವರನ್ನೂ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡಿದೆವು, ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೂ ಉಳಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ.

35 only the cattle we took for a prey unto ourselves, with the spoil of the cities which we had taken.ಪಶುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ನಮಗೆ ಸುಲುಕೊಂಡು ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಳ್ಳೆ ಹೊಡೆದೆವು.

36 From Aroer, which is on the edge of the valley of the Arnon, and `from' the city that is in the valley, even unto Gilead, there was not a city too high for us; Jehovah our God delivered up all before us:ಅರ್ನೋನಿನ ತೀರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅರೋ ಯೇರ್‌ ಮತ್ತು ಆ ಹಳ್ಳದ ಪಟ್ಟಣವು ಮೊದಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ಗಿಲ್ಯಾದಿನ ವರೆಗೂ ಒಂದು ಪಟ್ಟಣವಾದರೂ ನಮಗೆ ಅಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗಿರಲಿಲ್ಲ; ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ನಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು.

37 only to the land of the children of Ammon thou camest not near; all the side of the river Jabbok, and the cities of the hill-country, and wheresoever Jehovah our God forbade us.ಅಮ್ಮೋನಿಯರ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೂ ಯಬ್ಬೋಕ್‌ ನದಿಯ ಯಾವ ದೊಂದು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೂ ಪರ್ವತ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಮಗೆ ಬೇಡವೆಂದ ಯಾವ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೂ ನೀನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ.
