Daniel 7:1-8 in Kannada

1 In the first year of Belshazzar king of Babylon Daniel had a dream and visions of his head upon his bed: then he wrote the dream, and told the sum of the matters.

2 Daniel spake and said, I saw in my vision by night, and, behold, the four winds of the heaven strove upon the great sea.

3 And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

4 The first was like a lion, and had eagle’s wings: I beheld till the wings thereof were plucked, and it was lifted up from the earth, and made stand upon the feet as a man, and a man’s heart was given to it.

5 And behold another beast, a second, like to a bear, and it raised up itself on one side, and it had three ribs in the mouth of it between the teeth of it: and they said thus unto it, Arise, devour much flesh.

6 After this I beheld, and lo another, like a leopard, which had upon the back of it four wings of a fowl; the beast had also four heads; and dominion was given to it.

7 After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

8 I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.

1 ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಬೇಲ್ಯಚ್ಚರನ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ಕನಸನ್ನೂ ದರ್ಶನವನ್ನೂ ಕಂಡು; ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದು ಅದರ ತಾತ್ಪರ್ಯವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು.

2 ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ರಾತ್ರಿ ಕಂಡ ಕನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಚತುರ್ದಿಕ್ಕಿನ ಗಾಳಿಗಳು ಮಹಾ ಸಾಗರದ ಮೇಲೆ ರಭಸವಾಗಿ ಬೀಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದವು.

3 ಒಂದಕ್ಕೊಂದು ಬೇರೆ ಬೇರೆಯ ರೂಪದ ನಾಲ್ಕು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಮೃಗಗಳು ಸಮು ದ್ರದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದವು.
And four great beasts came up from the sea, diverse one from another.

4 ಮೊದಲನೆಯದು ಸಿಂಹದ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದು ಹದ್ದಿನ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳುಳ್ಳದ್ದಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದರ ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳು ಕೀಳಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಅದು ಭೂಮಿಯಿಂದ ಎತ್ತಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಮನುಷ್ಯನಂತೆ ಕಾಲೂರಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತ್ತು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಹೃದಯವು ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ನಾನು ನೋಡಿದೆನು.

5 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಇಗೋ, ಇನ್ನೊಂದು ಎರಡ ನೆಯ ಮೃಗವು ಕರಡಿಯ ಹಾಗಿರುವಂಥದ್ದು. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಒಂದು ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಹೆಗಲನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತಿ ಕೊಂಡಿತ್ತು. ಇದರ ಬಾಯಿಯ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಪಕ್ಕೆಲುಬುಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅವರು --ಎದ್ದೇಳು ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಾಂಸವನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ದರು.

6 ಇದಾದ ಮೇಲೆ ನಾನು ನೋಡಲಾಗಿ ಇಗೋ, ಚಿರತೆಯ ಹಾಗಿರುವ ಇನ್ನೊಂದು (ಮೃಗ); ಇದರ ಬೆನ್ನಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಪಕ್ಷಿಯ ನಾಲ್ಕು ರೆಕ್ಕೆಗಳು ಇದ್ದವು; ಈ ಮೃಗಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಲ್ಕು ತಲೆಗಳು ಸಹ ಇದ್ದವು. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರವು ಕೊಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.

7 ತರುವಾಯ ರಾತ್ರಿಯ ದರ್ಶನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ನೋಡಲಾಗಿ ಇಗೋ, ನಾಲ್ಕ ನೆಯ ಮೃಗವು ಭಯಂಕರವಾದದ್ದೂ ಘೋರವಾ ದದ್ದೂ ಬಹಳ ಬಲವುಳ್ಳದ್ದೂ ಆಗಿತ್ತು; ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಹಲ್ಲುಗಳಿದ್ದವು. ಅದು ತಿಂದು ತುಂಡು ತುಂಡು ಮಾಡಿ ಮಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಕಾಲುಗಳ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಹಾಕಿ ತುಳಿಯಿತು. ಅದು ಮೊದಲಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮೃಗಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ವ್ಯತ್ಯಾಸವುಳ್ಳದ್ದು ಮತ್ತು ಹತ್ತು ಕೊಂಬುಗಳುಳ್ಳದ್ದು ಆಗಿತ್ತು.
After this I saw in the night visions, and behold a fourth beast, dreadful and terrible, and strong exceedingly; and it had great iron teeth: it devoured and brake in pieces, and stamped the residue with the feet of it: and it was diverse from all the beasts that were before it; and it had ten horns.

8 ಆ ಕೊಂಬುಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ನಾನು ಆಲೋಚಿಸು ತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಕೊಂಬು ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿತ್ತು. ಇದರ ಮುಂದೆ ಮೊದ ಲಿನ ಕೊಂಬುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೂರು ಬೇರುಸಹಿತ ಕೀಳಲ್ಪ ಟ್ಟಿವೆ ಮತ್ತು ಇಗೋ, ಈ ಕೊಂಬಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳೂ ಬಡಾಯಿಕೊಚ್ಚುವ ಬಾಯಿಯೂ ಇದ್ದವು.
I considered the horns, and, behold, there came up among them another little horn, before whom there were three of the first horns plucked up by the roots: and, behold, in this horn were eyes like the eyes of man, and a mouth speaking great things.
