Daniel 2 - ASV (Kannada)

1 And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar dreamed dreams; and his spirit was troubled, and his sleep went from him.ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನ ಆಳಿಕೆಯ ಎರಡನೆಯ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚರನು ಕಂಡ ಕನಸುಗಳ ಪರಿಣಾಮದಿಂದ ಅವನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಕಳವಳ ಗೊಂಡು ನಿದ್ರೆಯು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಯಿತು.

2 Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the enchanters, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, to tell the king his dreams. So they came in and stood before the king.ಆಗ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕನಸುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅರಸನು ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರರನ್ನೂ ಜೋತಿಷ್ಯರನ್ನೂ ಮಾಟ ಗಾರರನ್ನೂ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರನ್ನೂ ಕರೆಯಲು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ದನು; ಇವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬಂದು ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತರು.

3 And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit is troubled to know the dream.ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಒಂದು ಕನಸ್ಸು ಕಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ಆ ಕನಸಿನ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮವು ಕಳವಳಗೊಂಡಿದೆ ಅಂದನು.

4 Then spake the Chaldeans to the king in the Syrian language, O king, live for ever: tell thy servants the dream, and we will show the interpretation.ಆಗ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಅರಮಾಯ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೇಳಿ ದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಬಾಳು, ಕನಸನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳು; ಆಗ ನಾವು ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವೆವು ಅಂದರು.

5 The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me: if ye make not known unto me the dream and the interpretation thereof, ye shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a dunghill.ಅರಸನು ಕಸ್ದೀ ಯರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಆ ಕನಸಿನ ಸಂಗತಿಯು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಯಿತು; ನೀವು ಕನಸನ್ನು ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥದೊಂದಿಗೆ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ನೀವು ತುಂಡು ತುಂಡಾಗಿ ಕತ್ತರಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವಿರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮನೆಗಳು ತಿಪ್ಪೆ ಗುಂಡಿಗಳನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಸುವೆನು.

6 But if ye show the dream and the interpretation thereof, ye shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honor: therefore show me the dream and the interpretation thereof.ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಕನ ಸನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರೆ, ದಾನಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಹಳ ಘನವನ್ನೂ ನನ್ನಿಂದ ಪಡೆಯುವಿರಿ; ಹೀಗಿರಲಾಗಿ ಕನಸನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಅಭಿ ಪ್ರಾಯವನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿರಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

7 They answered the second time and said, Let the king tell his servants the dream, and we will show the interpretation.ಅವರು ಮತ್ತೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ ಕನಸನ್ನು ಮೊದಲು ಹೇಳಲಿ, ಆಗ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನಾವು ತಿಳಿಸುವೆವು ಅಂದರು.

8 The king answered and said, I know of a certainty that ye would gain time, because ye see the thing is gone from me.ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಅದು ಗತಿಸಿದ ವಿಷಯವೆಂದು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿದಿದ್ದರಿಂದಲೇ ಕಾಲಹರಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವಿರೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಬಲ್ಲೆನು.

9 But if ye make not known unto me the dream, there is but one law for you; for ye have prepared lying and corrupt words to speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and I shall know that ye can show me the interpretation thereof.ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ಕನಸ್ಸನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸದೆ ಹೋದರೆ ನಿಮಗೆ ಒಂದೇ ನಿರ್ಣಯ ಉಂಟು; ಕಾಲ ಬದಲಾಗುವ ವರೆಗೂ ನೀವು ನನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಸುಳ್ಳು ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾತನಾಡಲು ಸಿದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿರುವಿರಿ; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಕನಸನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಿ, ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಬಲ್ಲಿ ರೆಂದು ನಾನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಂಡಿರುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ದನು.

10 The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man upon the earth that can show the king's matter, forasmuch as no king, lord, or ruler, hath asked such a thing of any magician, or enchanter, or Chaldean.ಆಗ ಕಸ್ದೀಯರು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಅರಸನ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಬಲ್ಲ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿ ಭೂಲೋಕ ದಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಯಾವ ಅರಸನಾದರೂ ಯಾವ ಪ್ರಭುವಾದರೂ ಯಾವ ಯಜಮಾನನಾದರೂ ಯಾವೊಬ್ಬ ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರನಲ್ಲೂ ಜೋತಿಷ್ಯನಲ್ಲೂ ಕಸ್ದೀಯನಲ್ಲೂ ಇಂಥ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.

11 And it is a rare thing that the king requireth, and there is no other that can show it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with flesh.ಅರಸನು ಕೇಳುವ ಸಂಗತಿಯು ಅಪರೂಪವಾದದ್ದು ಮತ್ತು ಮಾನವರ ಸಂಗಡ ವಾಸಮಾಡದ ದೇವರುಗಳೇ ಹೊರತು ಇನ್ಯಾರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾರರು ಅಂದರು.

12 For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to destroy all the wise men of Babylon.ಇದರಿಂದ ಅರಸನು ಕೋಪವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿ ಮಹಾರೌದ್ರದಿಂದ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಜ್ಞಾ ಪಿಸಿದನು.

13 So the decree went forth, and the wise men were to be slain; and they sought Daniel and his companions to be slain.ಹಾಗೆಯೇ, ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಬೇಕೆಂಬ ನಿರ್ಣಯವು ಹೊರಟಿತು; ಆಗ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನನ್ನೂ ಅವನ ಜೊತೆಗಾರರನ್ನೂ ಕೊಲ್ಲಲು ಹುಡುಕಿದರು.

14 Then Daniel returned answer with counsel and prudence to Arioch the captain of the king's guard, who was gone forth to slay the wise men of Babylon;ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲ್ಲು ಹೊರಟಿದ್ದ ಅರಸನ ಕಾವಲುಗಾರರ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಅರ್ಯೋಕನಿಗೆ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಆಲೋಚನೆ ಯಿಂದಲೂ ಜ್ಞಾನದಿಂದಲೂ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟನು;

15 he answered and said to Arioch the king's captain, Wherefore is the decree so urgent from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel.ಆಗ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಅರಸನ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಅರ್ಯೋಕ ನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಅರಸನಿಂದ ಈ ನಿರ್ಣಯವು ಇಷ್ಟು ತೀಕ್ಷ್ಣವಾದದ್ದೇನು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಲು ಅರ್ಯೋ ಕನು ದಾನಿಯೇಲನಿಗೆ ಆ ಸಂಗತಿಯ ವಿಷಯ ವಿವರಿ ಸಿದನು.

16 And Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would appoint him a time, and he would show the king the interpretation.ಆಗ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಒಳಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ತನಗೆ ಸಮಯ ಕೊಡಲು ಇಷ್ಟಪಟ್ಟರೆ ತಾನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುವೆನೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

17 Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah, his companions:ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ತನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಗಾರರಾದ ಹನನ್ಯ, ವಿಾಶಾಯೇಲ, ಅಜ ರ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಈ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸಿದನು.

18 that they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his companions should nor perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon.ದಾನಿಯೇ ಲನು ಅವನ ಜೊತೆಗಾರರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉಳಿದ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಾಶವಾಗದೆ ಅವರು ಈ ರಹಸ್ಯದ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಪರಲೋಕದ ದೇವರಿಂದ ಕರುಣೆಯನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

19 Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a vision of the night. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven.ಆಗ ಆ ರಹಸ್ಯವು ದಾನಿಯೇಲನಿಗೆ ರಾತ್ರಿ ದರ್ಶನ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಟವಾಯಿತು; ಆಗ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಪರಲೋಕ ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿದನು.

20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever; for wisdom and might are his.ದಾನಿಯೇ ಲನು--ದೇವರ ಹೆಸರು ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ಸ್ತುತಿಸಲ್ಪಡಲಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವೂ ಬಲವೂ ಆತನದಾಗಿದೆ;

21 And he changeth the times and the seasons; he removeth kings, and setteth up kings; he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that have understanding;ಆತನು ಕಾಲವನ್ನೂ ಸಮಯವನ್ನೂ ಬದಲಾಯಿ ಸುತ್ತಾ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆತ್ತುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನ ವನ್ನೂ ಬುದ್ಧಿವಂತರಿಗೆ ತಿಳುವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಕೊಡು ತ್ತಾನೆ.

22 he revealeth the deep and secret things; he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him.ಅಗಾಧವಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು, ರಹಸ್ಯವಾದವು ಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಂತ ವುಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದಿರುವಂತವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಬೆಳಕು ಆತ ನೊಳಗೆ ವಾಸಿಸುತ್ತದೆ.

23 I thank thee, and praise thee, O thou God of my fathers, who hast given me wisdom and might, and hast now made known unto me what we desired of thee; for thou hast made known unto us the king's matter.ಓ ನನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರೇ, ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂಡಾಡಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವನ್ನೂ ಬಲವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ನಾವು ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದನ್ನು ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀ; ಹೌದು, ನೀನು ಈಗ ನಮಗೆ ಅರಸನ ಸಂಗತಿಯನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿದ್ದೀ ಅಂದನು.

24 Therefore Daniel went in unto Arioch, whom the king had appointed to destroy the wise men of Babylon; he went and said thus unto him: Destroy not the wise men of Babylon; bring me in before the king, and I will show unto the king the interpretation.ಆದದರಿಂದ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಜ್ಞಾನಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಲು ಅರಸನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ ಅರ್ಯೋಕನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇ ನಂದರೆ--ನೀನು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡ ಬೇಡ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗು ಆಗ ನಾನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸು ತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

25 Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, and said thus unto him, I have found a man of the children of the captivity of Judah, that will make known unto the king the interpretation.ಆಗ ಅರ್ಯೋಕನು ದಾನಿಯೇಲನನ್ನು ತ್ವರೆ ಯಾಗಿ ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗಿ --ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಸೆರೆಯವರಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನು ಷ್ಯನು ಸಿಕ್ಕಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಅವನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ತಿಳಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.

26 The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Art thou able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation thereof?ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಬೇಲ್ತೆಶಚ್ಚರ ನೆಂಬ ದಾನಿಯೇಲನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು--ನಾನು ಕಂಡ ಕನಸನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನೂ ನನಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸುವ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವು ನಿನಗಿದೆಯೋ ಅಂದನು.

27 Daniel answered before the king, and said, The secret which the king hath demanded can neither wise men, enchanters, magicians, nor soothsayers, show unto the king;ಆಗ ದಾನಿ ಯೇಲನು ಅರಸನ ಸನ್ನಿಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ಅರಸನು ನಿರ್ಭಂಧವಾಗಿ ಕೇಳುವ ರಹಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳೂ ಜೋತಿಷ್ಯರೂ ಮಂತ್ರಗಾರರೂ ಶಕುನ ಹೇಳುವವರೂ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾರರು.

28 but there is a God in heaven that revealeth secrets, and he hath made known to the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these:ಆದರೆ ಈ ರಹಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಪಡಿಸುವಂತ ದೇವರು ಪರಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಆತನು ದಿವಸಗಳ ಅಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವಂತವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆಚ್ಚ ರನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ. ನಿನ್ನ ಕನಸಿನಲ್ಲಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದ ನಿನ್ನ ಮನಸ್ಸಿನ ದರ್ಶನಗಳು ಇವೇ ಆಗಿವೆ,

29 as for thee, O king, thy thoughts came `into thy mind' upon thy bed, what should come to pass hereafter; and he that revealeth secrets hath made known to thee what shall come to pass.ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ನೀನು ಹಾಸಿಗೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಲಗಿರುವಾಗ ಇನ್ನು ಮುಂದೆ ಏನು ಸಂಭವಿ ಸುವದೋ ಎಂಬ ಯೋಚನೆಯು ನಿನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿತಲ್ಲಾ! ಆ ರಹಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸುವಾತನು ಮುಂದೆ ಸಂಭ ವಿಸುವದು ಏನೆಂಬದನ್ನು ನಿನಗೆ ಗೋಚರಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಾನೆ.

30 But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that I have more than any living, but to the intent that the interpretation may be made known to the king, and that thou mayest know the thoughts of thy heart.ನಾನೇ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜೀವಂತರಿಗಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಬುದ್ದಿಯುಳ್ಳ ವನೆಂದಲ್ಲ, ಕನಸಿನ ಅರ್ಥವು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಗೋಚರ ವಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದ ಯೋಚನೆಗಳು ನಿನಗೆ ತಿಳಿದು ಬರಲೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರಕಟಮಾಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿದೆ.

31 Thou, O king, sawest, and, behold, a great image. This image, which was mighty, and whose brightness was excellent, stood before thee; and the aspect thereof was terrible.ಓ ರಾಜನೇ, ನೀನು ನೋಡಲಾಗಿ, ಇಗೋ, ಒಂದು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯು ಕಾಣಿಸಿತು. ಮಹಾ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಮಾನ ವಾದ ಈ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯು ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಿಂತಿತ್ತು; ಅದರ ಆಕಾರವು ಭಯಂಕರವಾಗಿತ್ತು.

32 As for this image, its head was of fine gold, its breast and its arms of silver, its belly and its thighs of brass,ಈ ಪ್ರತಿ ಮೆಯ ತಲೆಯು ಚೊಕ್ಕ ಬಂಗಾರದಿಂದಲೂ ಅದರ ಎದೆಯು ಮತ್ತು ತೋಳುಗಳು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯಿಂದಲೂ ಅದರ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯು ಮತ್ತು ತೊಡೆಗಳು ಹಿತ್ತಾಳೆಯಿಂದಲೂ

33 its legs of iron, its feet part of iron, and part of clay.ಅದರ ಕಾಲುಗಳು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದಿಂದಲೂ ಅದರ ಪಾದಗಳು ಅರ್ಧ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವೂ ಮತ್ತು ಅರ್ಧ ಮಣ್ಣು ಆಗಿತ್ತು.

34 Thou sawest till that a stone was cut out without hands, which smote the image upon its feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them in pieces.ನೀನು ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರಲಾಗಿ, ಒಂದು ಕಲ್ಲು ಕೈಗಳ ಸಹಾಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಒಡೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಅರ್ಧ ಕಬ್ಬಿ ಣವೂ ಅರ್ಧ ಮಣ್ಣೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದ ಆ ವಿಗ್ರಹದ ಪಾದ ಗಳನ್ನು ಬಡಿದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಚೂರುಚೂರು ಮಾಡಿತು.

35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken in pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing-floors; and the wind carried them away, so that no place was found for them: and the stone that smote the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.ಆಮೇಲೆ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವೂ ಮಣ್ಣೂ ಹಿತ್ತಾಳೆಯೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಬಂಗಾರವೂ ಕೂಡ ಒಡೆದು ಚೂರು ಚೂರಾಗಿ ಬೇಸಿಗೆ ಕಾಲದ ಧಾನ್ಯದ ಹೊಟ್ಟಿನ ಹಾಗಾ ದವು; ಅವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಎಡೆ ಸಿಗದ ಹಾಗೆ ಗಾಳಿಯು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಯಿತು; ಪ್ರತಿಮೆಯನ್ನು ಬಡಿದ ಕಲ್ಲು ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬೆಟ್ಟವಾಗಿ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸಿತು.

36 This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before the king.ಇದೇ ಕನಸು! ಮತ್ತು ಇದರ ಅರ್ಥವನ್ನು ನಾವು ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹೇಳು ತ್ತೇವೆ.

37 Thou, O king, art king of kings, unto whom the God of heaven hath given the kingdom, the power, and the strength, and the glory;ಓ ಅರಸನೇ, ನೀನು ಅರಸರಿಗೆ ಅರಸನಾಗಿ ರುವೆ; ಪರಲೋಕದ ದೇವರು ನಿನಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಬಲವನ್ನೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನೂ ಘನವನ್ನೂ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

38 and wheresoever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and the birds of the heavens hath he given into thy hand, and hath made thee to rule over them all: thou art the head of gold.ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಮಕ್ಕಳು, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೃಗಗಳೂ ಆಕಾಶದ ಪಕ್ಷಿಗಳೂ ವಾಸಿಸುವಂತಾದ್ದೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವೆಲ್ಲವುಗಳನ್ನು ಆಳುವಂತೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆ ಬಂಗಾರದ ತಲೆಯು ನೀನೇ.

39 And after thee shall arise another kingdom inferior to thee; and another third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.ನಿನ್ನ ತರುವಾಯ ನಿನಗಿಂತ ಕನಿಷ್ಠವಾದ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಏಳುವದು; ಅನಂತರ ಮೂರನೇ ಹಿತ್ತಾಳೆಯ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಬರುವದು. ಅದು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೂ ದೊರೆತನ ನಡೆಸುವದು.

40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron, forasmuch as iron breaketh in pieces and subdueth all things; and as iron that crusheth all these, shall it break in pieces and crush.ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಕಬ್ಬಿ ಣದ ಹಾಗೆ ಬಲವಾಗಿ ಇರುವದು. ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವು ಸಮಸ್ತ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನು ವಶಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಚೂರು ಚೂರು ಮಾಡುತ್ತದೆ; ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವು ಹೇಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲವುಗಳನ್ನು ಚೂರು ಮಾಡುವದೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಆ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಚೂರು ಚೂರಾಗಿ ಧ್ವಂಸ ಮಾಡುವದು.

41 And whereas thou sawest the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part of iron, it shall be a divided kingdom; but there shall be in it of the strength of the iron, forasmuch as thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay.ನೀನು ಪಾದಗ ಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾಲಿನ ಬೆರಳುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಧ ಕುಂಬಾರನ ಮಣ್ಣಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಅರ್ಧ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದಿಂದಲೂ ಉಂಟಾದ ವೆಂದು ನೀನು ನೋಡಿದೆಯಲ್ಲಾ? ಅದೇ ರೀತಿ ಆ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ವಿಭಾಗಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದು; ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಜೇಡಿ ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಸಂಗಡ ಕಲಸಿದ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದ ಬಲವು ಅದರಲ್ಲಿರುವದು.

42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.ಪಾದದ ಬೆರಳುಗಳು ಅರ್ಧ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣದಿಂದಲೂ ಅರ್ಧ ಮಣ್ಣಿ ನಿಂದಲೂ ಮಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯವು ಅರ್ಧ ಮುರಿದದ್ದಾಗಿಯೂ ಅರ್ಧ ಬಲವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇರುವದು.

43 And whereas thou sawest the iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves with the seed of men; but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron doth not mingle with clay.ನೀನು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವು ಜೇಡಿಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಸಂಗಡ ಕಲಸಿರು ವದನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರು ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ವಂಶಾ ವಳಿಯೊಂದಿಗೆ ಬೆರೆತುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು; ಆದರೆ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವು ಮಣ್ಣಿನ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೂಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಅವರು ಒಬ್ಬರ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಬ್ಬರು ಕೂಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

44 And in the days of those kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed, nor shall the sovereignty thereof be left to another people; but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.ಅರ ಸರ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಲೋಕದ ದೇವರು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ನಾಶವಾಗದ ರಾಜ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವನು. ಅದರ ರಾಜ್ಯ ವನ್ನು ಬೇರೆ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಕೊಡದೆ ಆ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಧ್ವಂಸ ಮಾಡಿ ಮುಗಿಸಿ ಎಂದೆಂದಿಗೂ ನಿಲ್ಲುವದು.

45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that a stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.ಆ, ಕಲ್ಲು ಕೈಗಳ ಸಹಾಯವಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಬೆಟ್ಟದೊಳಗಿಂದ ಒಡೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ಕಬ್ಬಿಣವನ್ನೂ ಹಿತ್ತಾಳೆಯನ್ನೂ ಮಣ್ಣನ್ನೂ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಯನ್ನೂ ಬಂಗಾರವನ್ನೂ ಧ್ವಂಸ ಮಾಡಿತೆಂದು ನೀನು ನೋಡಿದ್ದು ಇದೇ. ಮಹಾದೇವರು ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವಂಥದ್ದನ್ನು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸಿ ದ್ದಾನೆ; ಕನಸು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿದೆ; ಅದರ ಅರ್ಥಗಳೂ ಸತ್ಯವಾಗಿವೆ ಅಂದನು.

46 Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel, and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odors unto him.ಆಗ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೆಬೂಕದ್ನೆ ಚ್ಚರನು ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು ದಾನಿಯೇಲನಿಗೆ ನಮಸ್ಕರಿಸಿರಿ, ಅವನಿಗೆ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸುಗಂಧದ್ರವ್ಯ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಬೇ ಕೆಂದೂ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು.

47 The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Of a truth your God is the God of gods, and the Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing thou hast been able to reveal this secret.ಅರಸನು ದಾನಿಯೇಲನಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ನೀನು ಈ ರಹಸ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟ ಮಾಡಲು ಸಮರ್ಥನಾದದರಿಂದ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ದೇವರಾಗಿಯೂ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಕರ್ತನಾಗಿಯೂ ರಹಸ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರಕಟಮಾಡುವಾತ ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.

48 Then the king made Daniel great, and gave him many great gifts, and made him to rule over the whole province of Babylon, and to be chief governor over all the wise men of Babylon.ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ದಾನಿಯೇಲನನ್ನು ಒಬ್ಬ ಮಹಾ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಅನೇಕ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಪ್ರಾಂತ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯನ್ನಾ ಗಿಯೂ ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜ್ಞಾನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮುಖ್ಯಾಧಿ ಪತಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ನೇಮಿಸಿದನು.

49 And Daniel requested of the king, and he appointed Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel was in the gate of the king.ಆ ಮೇಲೆ ದಾನಿ ಯೇಲನು ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅರಸನು ಶದ್ರಕ್‌ ಮೇಷಕ್‌ ಮತ್ತು ಅಬೇದ್‌ನೆಗೋ ಎಂಬವರಿಗೆ ಬಾಬೆಲ್‌ ಸಂಸ್ಥಾನದ ಕಾರ್ಯಭಾರವನ್ನು ವಹಿಸಿದನು. ದಾನಿಯೇಲನಾದರೋ ಅರಸನ ಅರಮನೆಯಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದನು.
