Amos 5 - YLT (Kannada)

1 Hear this word that I am bearing to you, A lamentation, O house of Israel:ಓ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ನಾನು ನಿಮಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಗೋಳಾ ಟದ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನೆತ್ತುವ ಈ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ.

2 `Fallen, not again to rise, hath the virgin of Israel, Left on her land -- she hath no raiser up.'ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಕನ್ಯೆಯು ಬಿದ್ದಿದ್ದಾಳೆ, ಇನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಎದ್ದೇಳುವದೇ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಅವಳು ತನ್ನ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ತೊರೆದು ಬಿಡಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವಳಾಗಿದ್ದಾಳೆ. ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಅವಳನ್ನು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

3 For thus said the Lord Jehovah: The city that is going out a thousand, Doth leave an hundred, And that which is going out an hundred, Doth leave ten to the house of Israel.ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಪಟ್ಟಣದಿಂದ ಸಾವಿರ ಮಂದಿ ಯಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟವರು ನೂರು ಮಂದಿಯಾಗಿ ಉಳಿದು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆ ಸೇರಲು ನೂರು ಮಂದಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟವರು ಹತ್ತು ಮಂದಿಯಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯುವರು.

4 For thus said Jehovah to the house of Israel: Seek ye Me, and live,ಕರ್ತನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆಯವರಿಗೆ ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--ನೀವು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿ ಜೀವಿಸಿರಿ.

5 And seek not Beth-El, and Gilgal enter not, And Beer-Sheba pass not through, For Gilgal doth utterly remove, And Beth-El doth become vanity.ಆದರೆ ಬೇತೇಲನ್ನು ಆಶ್ರಯಿಸಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾದು ಹೋಗ ಬೇಡಿರಿ, ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಗಿಲ್ಗಾಲು ಸೆರೆಗೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಹೋಗುವದು. ಬೇತೇಲು ಏನಿಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋಗುವದು.

6 Seek ye Jehovah, and live, Lest He prosper as fire `against' the house of Joseph, And it hath consumed, And there is no quencher for Beth-El.ನೀವು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿ ಬದುಕಿರಿ, ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ದರೆ ಆತನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಂತೆ ಯೋಸೇಫನ ಮನೆತನದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸುವನು; ಅದು ನುಂಗಿಬಿಡುವದು, ಅದನ್ನು ಆರಿಸುವವರು ಬೇತೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾರೂ ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

7 Ye who are turning to wormwood judgment, And righteousness to the earth have put down,ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಚಿಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ತಿರಿಗಿಸುವವರೇ, ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡುವವರೇ,

8 The maker of Kimah and Kesil, And the turner to morning of death-shade, And day `as' night He hath made dark, Who is calling to the waters of the sea, And poureth them on the face of the earth, Jehovah `is' His name;ಏಳು ನಕ್ಷತ್ರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮೃಗಶಿರವನ್ನೂ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿ ಮರಣದ ನೆರಳನ್ನು ಉದಯಕ್ಕೆ ಬದಲಿಸಿ, ಹಗಲನ್ನು ರಾತ್ರಿಯಾಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಕತ್ತಲು ಮಾಡಿ ಸಮುದ್ರದ ನೀರನ್ನು ಬರಮಾಡಿ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸುರಿಸುವ ಕರ್ತನೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರುಳ್ಳಾತನನ್ನೇ ಹುಡು ಕಿರಿ.

9 Who is brightening up the spoiled against the strong, And the spoiled against a fortress cometh.ಕೋಟೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೂರೆಮಾಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಸೂರೆಯನ್ನು ಬಲಿಷ್ಠರ ಮೇಲೆ ತಟ್ಟನೆ ತಂದೊಡ್ಡು ವಾತನು ಆತನೇ.

10 They have hated a reprover in the gate, And a plain speaker they abominate.ಅವರು ಬಾಗಿಲಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆದರಿಸುವ ನನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುತ್ತಾರೆ, ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾ ಡುವವನನ್ನು ಅವರು ಅಸಹ್ಯಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

11 Therefore, because of your trampling on the poor, And the tribute of corn ye take from him, Houses of hewn work ye have built, And ye do not dwell in them, Desirable vineyards ye have planted, And ye do not drink their wine.ಆದಕಾರಣ ನೀವು ಬಡವನನ್ನು ತುಳಿದವರಾಗಿ ಗೋಧಿಯ ಹೊರೆಗಳನ್ನು ಅವನಿಂದ ಕಸಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಕೆತ್ತಿದ ಕಲ್ಲಿನ ಮನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೀರಲ್ಲಾ; ನೀವು ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡದೆ ಇರುವಿರಿ; ರಮ್ಯವಾದ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೆಯತೋಟ ಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟಿರಲ್ಲಾ; ಅವುಗಳ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವನ್ನು ಕುಡಿ ಯಲಾರಿರಿ.

12 For I have known -- many `are' your transgressions, And mighty your sins, Adversaries of the righteous, taking ransoms, And the needy in the gate ye turned aside.ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅನೇಕ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಘೋರವಾದ ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು; ಅವರು ನೀತಿವಂತರನ್ನು ಬಾಧೆಪಡಿಸಿ ಲಂಚವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದು ಕೊಂಡರು; ಬಾಗಲ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಬಡವರ ನ್ಯಾಯ ವನ್ನು ತೀರಿಸದೆ ಅವರು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿಬಿಟ್ಟರು.

13 Therefore is the wise at that time silent, For an evil time it `is'.ಆದದ ರಿಂದ ಆ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಬುದ್ದಿವಂತನು ಮೌನವಾಗಿ ರುವನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅದು ಕೆಟ್ಟ ಕಾಲವಾಗಿದೆ.

14 Seek good, and not evil, that ye may live, And it is so; Jehovah, God of Hosts, `is' with you, as ye said.ನೀವು ಬದುಕುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ನೀವು ಹೇಳುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಕರ್ತನು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಒಳ್ಳೆಯ ದನ್ನು ಹುಡುಕಿರಿ.

15 Hate evil, and love good, And set up judgment in the gate, It may be Jehovah, God of Hosts, doth pity the remnant of Joseph.ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸಿರಿ; ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಿರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಬಾಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ನ್ಯಾಯವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿರಿ; ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಸೈನ್ಯಾಧಿಪತಿಯಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಯೋಸೇ ಫನ ಉಳಿದವರನ್ನು ಕನಿಕರಿಸಬಹುದು.

16 Therefore, thus said Jehovah, God of Hosts, the Lord, In all broad places `is' lamentation, And in all out-places they say, `Alas, alas,' And called the husbandman to mourning, And to lamentation the skilful of wailing.ಆದದ ರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು, ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು, ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಬೀದಿಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಗೋಳಾಟ ಗಳು, ಹೆದ್ದಾರಿಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ಅಯ್ಯೋ ಅನ್ನು ವರು. ಒಕ್ಕಲಿಗರನ್ನು ದುಃಖಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಪ್ರಲಾಪಿ ಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತಿಳಿದವರನ್ನು ಗೋಳಾಟಕ್ಕೂ ಕರೆಯುವರು.

17 And in all vineyards `is' lamentation, For I pass into thy midst, said Jehovah.ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇತೋಟಗಳಲ್ಲೂ ಗೋಳಾಟವಿರು ವದು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಹಾದುಹೋಗು ವೆನೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

18 Ho, ye who are desiring the day of Jehovah, Why `is' this to you -- the day of Jehovah? It is darkness, and not light,ಕರ್ತನ ದಿನವನ್ನು ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಿಸುವ ನಿಮಗೆ ಅಯ್ಯೋ! ನಿಮ್ಮ ಅಂತ್ಯವೇನಾಗುವದು? ಅಯ್ಯೋ, ಕರ್ತನ ದಿನವು ನಿಮಗೆ ಬೆಳಕಲ್ಲ, ಕತ್ತಲೆಯೇ.

19 As `when' one fleeth from the face of the lion, And the bear hath met him, And he hath come in to the house, And hath leant his hand on the wall, And the serpent hath bitten him.ಒಬ್ಬ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಸಿಂಹದಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಓಡಿಹೋಗಿ ಕರಡಿಯನ್ನು ಎದುರುಗೊಂಡ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ಅವನು ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಗೋಡೆಗೆ ತನ್ನ ಕೈ ಒರಗಿ ಸಿದಾಗ ಸರ್ಪವು ಕಚ್ಚಿದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇರುವದು.

20 Is not the day of Jehovah darkness and not light, Even thick darkness that hath no brightness?ಹೀಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ದಿನವು ಬೆಳಕಲ್ಲ ಕತ್ತಲಲ್ಲವೇ? ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಕಾಶವೇನೂ ಇಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರ್ಗತ್ತಲಲ್ಲವೋ? ಹಬ್ಬಗಳನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡಿ ತುಚ್ಛೀಕರಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ.

21 I have hated -- I have loathed your festivals, And I am not refreshed by your restraints.ನಿಮ್ಮ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸಭೆಗಳನ್ನು ನಾನು ಮೂಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

22 For though ye cause burnt-offerings and your presents to ascend to Me, I am not pleased, And the peace-offering of your fatlings I behold not.ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಆಹಾರ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರೂ ನಾನು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀ ಕರಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ, ಇಲ್ಲವೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕೊಬ್ಬಿದ ಪ್ರಾಣಿಗಳ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಲಕ್ಷಿಸುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

23 Turn aside from Me the noise of thy songs, Yea, the praise of thy psaltery I hear not.ನಿಮ್ಮ ಹಾಡುಗಳ ಬೊಬ್ಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನಿಂದ ತೊಲಗಿಸಿರಿ; ನಿಮ್ಮ ವೀಣೆಗಳ ಮಧುರ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕೇಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

24 And roll on as waters doth judgment, And righteousness as a perennial stream.ಆದರೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವು ನೀರಿನಂತೆಯೂ ನೀತಿಯು ಬಲವಾದ ಪ್ರವಾಹದಂತೆಯೂ ಹರಿಯಲಿ.

25 Sacrifices and offering did ye bring nigh to Me, In a wilderness forty years, O house of Israel?ಓ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮನೆತನದವರೇ, ನೀವು ನನಗೆ ಅರಣ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಲವತ್ತು ವರುಷಗಳು ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದಿರೋ?

26 And ye bare Succoth your king, and Chiun your images, The star of your god, that ye made for yourselves.ಆದರೆ ನೀವು ನಿಮ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡ ಮೋಲೇಕನ ಗುಡಾರವನ್ನು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಿಯೂನ್‌ ಎಂಬ ವಿಗ್ರಹವನ್ನು, ನಿಮ್ಮ ಮೋಲೇ ಕನ ದೇವತೆಯ ನಕ್ಷತ್ರವನ್ನು ಹೊತ್ತುಕೊಂಡು ಹೋಗ ಬೇಕಾಗುವದು.

27 And I removed you beyond Damascus, Said Jehovah, God of Hosts `is' His name.ಆದದರಿಂದ ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಆಚೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಸೆರೆಗೆ ತಳ್ಳುವೆನೆಂದು ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ದೇವರೆಂದು ಹೆಸರುಗೊಂಡ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.
