Acts 26 - DBY (Kannada)

1 And Agrippa said to Paul, It is permitted thee to speak for thyself. Then Paul stretching out his hand answered in his defence:ಆಗ ಅಗ್ರಿಪ್ಪನು ಪೌಲನಿಗೆ--ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಆಯಿತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಆಗ ಪೌಲನು ಕೈಚಾಚಿ ತನಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿವಾದಿಸುತ್ತಾ--

2 I count myself happy, king Agrippa, in having to answer to-day before thee concerning all of which I am accused by the Jews,ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಗ್ರಿಪ್ಪನೇ, ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹೊರಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಅಪರಾಧಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಈ ದಿವಸ ನಿನ್ನ ಮುಂದೆ ನನ್ನ ಪಕ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿವಾದ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಿರುವದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಧನ್ಯನೆಂದು ಎಣಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

3 especially because thou art acquainted with all the customs and questions which are among the Jews; wherefore I beseech thee to hear me patiently.ಪ್ರಾಮುಖ್ಯ ವಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಚಾರ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಿವಾದಗಳನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ಚೆನ್ನಾಗಿ ಬಲ್ಲವನಾಗಿರು ವದರಿಂದ ಸಹನೆಯಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆ.

4 My manner of life then from my youth, which from its commencement was passed among my nation in Jerusalem, know all the Jews,ನಾನು ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಜನಾಂಗದವರ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಲ್ಯದಿಂದ ನಾನು ಬದುಕಿದ ವಿಧಾನವು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿದದೆ.

5 who knew me before from the outset [of my life], if they would bear witness, that according to the strictest sect of our religion I lived a Pharisee.ನಮ್ಮ ಮತದ ಬಹು ನಿಷ್ಠೆಯ ಪಂಗಡಕ್ಕನುಸಾರವಾಗಿ ನಾನು ಒಬ್ಬ ಫರಿಸಾಯನಾಗಿ ಬದುಕಿರುವದನ್ನು ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ ತಿಳಿದವರಾದ ಇವರು ಸಾಕ್ಷಿ ಕೊಡಬೇಕೆಂದಿದ್ದರೆ ಕೊಡಲಿ.

6 And now I stand to be judged because of the hope of the promise made by God to our fathers,ಈಗಲೂ ದೇವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ ವಾಗ್ದಾನದ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ವಿಚಾರಿಸಲ್ಪಡು ವವನಾಗಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

7 to which our whole twelve tribes serving incessantly day and night hope to arrive; about which hope, O king, I am accused of [the] Jews.ನಮ್ಮ ಹನ್ನೆರಡು ಗೋತ್ರದವರು ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹಗಲಿರುಳು ದೇವರನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಈ ವಾಗ್ದಾನದ ನೆರವೇರಿಕೆಗಾಗಿ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ; ಅಗ್ರಿಪ್ಪ ರಾಜನೇ, ಈ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯ ವಿಷಯಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ತಪ್ಪುಹೊರಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.

8 Why should it be judged a thing incredible in your sight if God raises the dead?ಸತ್ತವರನ್ನು ದೇವರು ಎಬ್ಬಿಸುವನೆಂಬದು ನಂಬಲಾಗದ ಒಂದು ವಿಷಯವೆಂದು ನೀವು ಯಾಕೆ ಯೋಚಿಸುತ್ತೀರಿ?

9 *I* indeed myself thought that I ought to do much against the name of Jesus the Nazaraean.ನಜರೇತಿನ ಯೇಸುವಿನ ಹೆಸರಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕೂಲವಾಗಿ ಅನೇಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲೇಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ನಿಜವಾಗಿ ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೆನು.

10 Which also I did in Jerusalem, and myself shut up in prisons many of the saints, having received the authority from the chief priests; and when they were put to death I gave my vote.ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿ ನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕರಿಂದ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧರಲ್ಲಿ ಅನೇಕರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿಸಿದೆನು. ಮಾತ್ರ ವಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ಕೊಲ್ಲಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಸಮ್ಮತಿಪಟ್ಟೆನು.

11 And often punishing them in all the synagogues, I compelled them to blaspheme. And, being exceedingly furious against them, I persecuted them even to cities out [of our own land].ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಸಭಾ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನು ಅನೇಕ ಸಾರಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಶಿಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಅವರು ದೇವದೂಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ಒತ್ತಾಯ ಮಾಡಿದೆನು ಮತ್ತು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಹಾಕೋಪೋ ದ್ರೇಕದಿಂದ ಬೇರೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ತನಕ ಅವರನ್ನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸಿದೆನು.

12 And when, [engaged] in this, I was journeying to Damascus, with authority and power from the chief priests,ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನಯಾಜಕರಿಂದ ಅಧಿಕಾರವನ್ನೂ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯನ್ನೂ ಪಡೆದು ದಮಸ್ಕಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದೆನು.

13 at mid-day, on the way, I saw, O king, a light above the brightness of the sun, shining from heaven round about me and those who were journeying with me.ಓ ರಾಜನೇ, ನಾನು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾಗ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಮತ್ತು ನನ್ನ ಜೊತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರಯಾಣ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದವರ ಸುತ್ತಲೂ ಸೂರ್ಯನ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ಬೆಳಕು ಪರಲೋಕ ದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಕಾಶಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕಂಡೆನು.

14 And, when we were all fallen to the ground, I heard a voice saying to me in the Hebrew tongue, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? [it is] hard for thee to kick against goads.ನಾವೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದಾಗ--ಸೌಲನೇ, ಸೌಲನೇ, ಯಾಕೆ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನೀನು ಹಿಂಸಿಸುತ್ತೀ, ಮುಳ್ಳು ಗೋಲನ್ನು ಒದೆಯುವದು ನಿನಗೆ ಕಷ್ಟ ಎಂದು ನನ್ನೊಂದಿಗೆ ಇಬ್ರಿಯ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಒಂದು ಧ್ವನಿಯನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿದೆನು.

15 And I said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, *I* am Jesus whom *thou* persecutest:ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು--ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನು ಯಾರು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದೆನು. ಆಗ ಆತನು--ನೀನು ಹಿಂಸೆಪಡಿಸುವ ಯೇಸುವೇ ನಾನು.

16 but rise up and stand on thy feet; for, for this purpose have I appeared to thee, to appoint thee to be a servant and a witness both of what thou hast seen, and of what I shall appear to thee in,ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ಎದ್ದು ನಿಂತುಕೋ; ನೀನು ನೋಡಿದವುಗಳ ಮತ್ತು ನಾನು ನಿನಗೆ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಯಪಡಿಸುವವುಗಳ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಕನನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯನ್ನಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾತ್ರ ವಲ್ಲದೆ

17 taking thee out from among the people, and the nations, to whom *I* send thee,ಈ ಜನರಿಂದ ಮತ್ತು ಈಗ ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವ ಅನ್ಯಜನರಿಂದ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ

18 to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive remission of sins and inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me.ಅವರ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಮತ್ತು ಕತ್ತಲೆಯಿಂದ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೂ ಸೈತಾನನ ಅಧಿಕಾರದಿಂದ ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಅವರು ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಡುವ ನಂಬಿಕೆಯಿಂದಾಗುವ ಪಾಪಕ್ಷಮಾ ಪಣೆಯನ್ನೂ ಪವಿತ್ರರಾದವರಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ಥ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಹೊಂದುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ನಾನು

19 Whereupon, king Agrippa, I was not disobedient to the heavenly vision;ಆದ ಕಾರಣ ಓ ಅಗ್ರಿಪ್ಪ ರಾಜನೇ, ಪರಲೋಕದ ಆ ದರ್ಶನಕ್ಕೆ ನಾನು ಅವಿಧೇಯನಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ.

20 but have, first to those both in Damascus and Jerusalem, and to all the region of Judaea, and to the nations, announced that they should repent and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಮಾನಸಾಂತರಪಟ್ಟು ದೇವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಮಾನಸಾಂತರಪಟ್ಟದ್ದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮೊದಲನೆಯದಾಗಿ ದಮಸ್ಕದವರಿಗೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೂದಾಯದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಡೆಯ ತೀರಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗದವರಿಗೂ ಪ್ರಕಟಿಸಿದೆನು.

21 On account of these things the Jews, having seized me in the temple, attempted to lay hands on and destroy me.ಯಾಕಂ ದರೆ ಈ ಕಾರಣಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರು ದೇವಾಲಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸಿದರು.

22 Having therefore met with [the] help which is from God, I have stood firm unto this day, witnessing both to small and great, saying nothing else than those things which both the prophets and Moses have said should happen,ಹೀಗೆ ನಾನು ದೇವರ ಸಹಾಯವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿ ಈ ದಿವಸದವರೆಗೆ ಜೀವದಿಂದಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳೂ ಮೋಶೆಯೂ ಸಂಭವಿಸುವವೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದವುಗಳನ್ನೇ ಹೊರತು ಮತ್ತೆ ಯಾವ ವಿಷಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹೇಳದೆ ಚಿಕ್ಕವರಿಗೂ ದೊಡ್ಡವರಿಗೂ ಸಾಕ್ಷೀಕರಿಸುವವ ನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.

23 [namely,] whether Christ should suffer; whether he first, through resurrection of [the] dead, should announce light both to the people and to the nations.ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನು ಬಾಧೆಯನ್ನನುಭವಿಸಿ ಸತ್ತವ ರೊಳಗಿಂದ ಮೊದಲನೆಯವನಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು ಪ್ರಜೆ ಗಳಿಗೂ ಅನ್ಯಜನಾಂಗದವರಿಗೂ ಬೆಳಕನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸು ವವನಾಗಿರಬೇಕಾಗಿತ್ತು.

24 And as he answered for his defence with these things, Festus says with a loud voice, Thou art mad, Paul; much learning turns thee to madness.ಅವನು ಈ ರೀತಿಯಾಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿವಾದ ಮಾಡು ತ್ತಿದ್ದಾಗ ಫೆಸ್ತನು ಮಹಾಶಬ್ದದಿಂದ--ಪೌಲನೇ, ನೀನು ಭ್ರಮೆಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದೀ; ಅತಿಶಯ ಜ್ಞಾನವು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹುಚ್ಚನನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

25 But Paul said, I am not mad, most excellent Festus, but utter words of truth and soberness;ಆದರೆ ಅವನು--ಗೌರವವುಳ್ಳ ಫೆಸ್ತನೇ, ನಾನು ಹುಚ್ಚನಲ್ಲ; ಸ್ವಸ್ಥಬುದ್ಧಿಯಿಂದ ಸತ್ಯವಾದ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನೇ ಹೇಳು ತ್ತೇನೆ.

26 for the king is informed about these things, to whom also I speak with all freedom. For I am persuaded that of these things nothing is hidden from him; for this was not done in a corner.ಯಾವ ರಾಜನ ಮುಂದೆ ನಾನು ಸರಳ ವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವೆನೋ ಆ ರಾಜನು ಇವೆಲ್ಲವು ಗಳನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಈ ವಿಷಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವವೂ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಮರೆಯಾಗಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನನಗೆ ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಿದೆ; ಈ ವಿಷಯವು ಒಂದು ಮೂಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದದ್ದಲ್ಲ.

27 King Agrippa, believest thou the prophets? I know that thou believest.ರಾಜನಾದ ಅಗ್ರಿಪ್ಪನೇ, ಪ್ರವಾದಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ನೀನು ನಂಬುತ್ತೀಯೋ? ನೀನು ನಂಬುತ್ತೀ ಯೆಂದು ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

28 And Agrippa [said] to Paul, In a little thou persuadest me to become a Christian.ಆಗ ಅಗ್ರಿಪ್ಪನು ಪೌಲನಿಗೆ--ನಾನು ಕ್ರೈಸ್ತನಾಗುವಂತೆ ನೀನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಮಟ್ಟಿಗೆ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಸುತ್ತೀ ಅಂದನು.

29 And Paul [said], I would to God, both in little and in much, that not only thou, but all who have heard me this day, should become such as *I* also am, except these bonds.ಆಗ ಪೌಲನು--ಈ ಬೇಡಿಗಳ ಹೊರತು ನೀನು ಮಾತ್ರವಲ್ಲದೆ ಈ ದಿವಸ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ನನ್ನ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರಬೇಕೆಂದು ನಾನು ದೇವರ ಮುಂದೆ ಇಚ್ಛೈಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

30 And the king stood up, and the governor and Bernice, and those who sat with them,ಅವನು ಹೀಗೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದಾಗ ರಾಜನೂ ಅಧಿಪತಿಯೂ ಬೆರ್ನಿಕೆಯೂ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕೂಡಿ ದ್ದವರೂ ಎದ್ದರು.

31 and having gone apart, they spoke to one another saying, This man does nothing worthy of death or of bonds.ಅವರು ಆಚೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ--ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಮರಣದಂಡನೆಗಾಗಲೀ ಬೇಡಿಗಳಿ ಗಾಗಲೀ ಯೋಗ್ಯವಾದ ಯಾವದನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಲಿಲ್ಲ ವೆಂದು ತಮ್ಮತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.

32 And Agrippa said to Festus, This man might have been let go if he had not appealed to Caesar.ಆಗ ಅಗ್ರಿಪ್ಪನು ಫೆಸ್ತನಿಗೆ--ಈ ಮನುಷ್ಯನು ಕೈಸರನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇನೆಂದು ಹೇಳದೆ ಹೋಗಿದ್ದರೆ ಇವನನ್ನು ಬಿಡಬಹುದಾಗಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.
