ಆಗ ದಾವೀದನು ಯೋವಾಬನಿಗೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡವಿದ್ದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಜನರಿಗೂ--ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗ ಳನ್ನು ಹರಕೊಂಡು ಗೋಣೀತಟ್ಟುಗಳನ್ನು ಉಟ್ಟು ಕೊಂಡು ಅಬ್ನೇರನ ಮುಂದೆ ಗೋಳಾಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು.ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನು ತಾನೇ ಅವನ ಶವದ ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯ ಹಿಂದೆ ಹೋದನು.

and gird וְחִגְר֣וּ ḥāgar ha-ɡAHR
you with sackcloth, שַׂקִּ֔ים śaq sahk
and mourn וְסִפְד֖וּ sāpad sa-FAHD
before לִפְנֵ֣י pānîm pa-NEEM
Abner. אַבְנֵ֑ר ʾabnēr av-NARE
And king וְהַמֶּ֣לֶךְ melek meh-LEK
David דָּוִ֔ד dāwid da-VEED
followed הֹלֵ֖ךְ hālak ha-LAHK
אַֽחֲרֵ֥י ʾaḥar ah-HAHR
