1 And Joab son of Zeruial knoweth that the heart of the king `is' on Absalom,ಅರಸನ ಹೃದಯವು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಇರುವದನ್ನು ಚೆರೂಯಳ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋವಾಬನು ತಿಳಿದು.

2 and Joab sendeth to Tekoah, and taketh thence a wise woman, and saith unto her, `Feign thyself a mourner, I pray thee, and put on, I pray thee, garments of mourning, and anoint not thyself with oil, and thou hast been as a woman these many days mourning for the dead,ತೆಕೋವದಿಂದ ಜ್ಞಾನವುಳ್ಳ ಒಬ್ಬ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯನ್ನು ಕರೇ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಅವಳಿಗೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ನೀನು ಗೋಳಾ ಡುವವಳ ಹಾಗೆ ನಟನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಶೋಕವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಧರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು

3 and thou hast gone unto the king, and spoken unto him, according to this word;' and Joab putteth the words into her mouth.ತಲೆಗೆ ಎಣ್ಣೆಹಚ್ಚಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಸತ್ತವರಿ ಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅನೇಕ ದಿವಸಗಳಿಂದ ದುಃಖಿಸುವವಳ ಹಾಗಿದ್ದು ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾತನಾಡು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ಯೋವಾ ಬನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ಕಲಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

4 And the woman of Tekoah speaketh unto the king, and falleth on her face to the earth, and doth obeisance, and saith, `Save, O king.'ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ತೆಕೋವಿನವಳಾದ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಅರಸನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಭಕ್ತಿ ಗೌರವದಿಂದ ವಂದಿಸಿ--ಅರಸೇ, ಸಹಾಯಮಾಡು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿ ಕೊಂಡಳು.

5 And the king saith to her, `What -- to thee?' and she saith, `Truly a widow woman `am' I, and my husband dieth,ಅರಸನು ಅವಳಿಗೆ ನಿನಗೆ ಏನಾಯಿತು ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವಳು--ನಾನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ವಿಧವೆ ಯಾದ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು; ನನ್ನ ಗಂಡನು ಸತ್ತುಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

6 and thy maid-servant hath two sons; and they strive both of them in a field, and there is no deliverer between them, and the one smiteth the other, and putteth him to death;ಆದರೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕಳಿಗೆ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಕುಮಾರರಿದ್ದರು; ಅವರಿಬ್ಬರೂ ಹೊಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಡೆದಾಡಿದರು; ಅವ ರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವವರು ಯಾರೂ ಇಲ್ಲದ್ದರಿಂದ ಒಬ್ಬನು ಮತ್ತೊಬ್ಬನನ್ನು ಹೊಡೆದು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದನು.

7 and lo, the whole family hath risen against thy maid-servant, and say, Give up him who smiteth his brother, and we put him to death for the life of his brother whom he hath slain, and we destroy also the heir; and they have quenched my coal which is left -- so as not to set to my husband a name and remnant on the face of the ground.'ಆದದರಿಂದ ಇಗೋ, ಕುಟುಂಬದವರೆಲ್ಲರು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕಳ ಮೇಲೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಎದ್ದು--ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋ ದರನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದವನನ್ನು ಅವನ ಸಹೋದರನ ಪ್ರಾಣಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ನಾವು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಲ್ಲುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಬಾಧ್ಯವನ್ನು ಸಹ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿಬಿಡುವ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿ ದರು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ನನಗೆ ಉಳಿದಿರುವ ನನ್ನ ಕೆಂಡವನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ನನ್ನ ಗಂಡನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನೂ ಸಂತಾನವನ್ನೂ ಉಳಿಯ ಬಿಡುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದಳು.

8 And the king saith unto the woman, `Go to thine house, and I give charge concerning thee.'ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೆ--ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗು; ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನ ವಿಷಯವಾಗಿ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ ಅಂದನು.

9 And the woman of Tekoah saith unto the king, `On me, my lord, O king, `is' the iniquity, and on the house of my father; and the king and his throne `are' innocent.'ಆದರೆ ತೆಕೋವಿನ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ--ಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ಆ ಅಕ್ರಮವು ನನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಯ ಮನೆಯ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಇರಲಿ; ಅರಸನೂ ಅವನ ಸಿಂಹಾಸನವೂ ನಿರಾಪರಾಧವಾಗಿರಲಿ ಅಂದಳು.

10 And the king saith, `He who speaketh `aught' unto thee, and thou hast brought him unto me, then he doth not add any more to come against thee.'ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅರಸನು--ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ನಿನಗೆ ಏನಾದರೂ ಹೇಳಿದರೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕರ ಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ; ಅವನು ಇನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಎಂದಿಗೂ ಮುಟ್ಟದಂತೆ ಮಾಡುವೆನು ಅಂದನು.

11 And she saith, `Let, I pray thee, the king remember by Jehovah thy God, that the redeemer of blood add not to destroy, and they destroy not my son;' and he saith, `Jehovah liveth; if there doth fall of the hair of thy son to the earth.'ಆಗ ಅವಳು--ರಕ್ತ ವಿಚಾರಕನು ಇನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸದ ಹಾಗೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ನೀನು ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡು; ಅವರು ನನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡ ಬಾರದು ಅಂದಳು. ಅದಕ್ಕವನು--ಕರ್ತನ ಜೀವ ದಾಣೆ, ನಿನ್ನ ಮಗನ ತಲೆಯ ಕೂದಲಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದಾದರೂ ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬೀಳುವದಿಲ್ಲ ಅಂದನು.

12 And the woman saith, `Let, I pray thee, thy maid-servant speak unto my lord the king a word;' and he saith, `Speak.'ಆಗ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು--ಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯು ಒಂದು ಮಾತನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆ ಆಗಬೇಕು ಅಂದಳು.

13 And the woman saith, `And why hast thou thought thus concerning the people of God? yea, the king is speaking this thing as a guilty one, in that the king hath not brought back his outcast;ಆಗ ಅವನು--ಹೇಳು ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು--ದೇವರ ಜನರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಅಂಥಾ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೀನು ನೆನೆಸು ವದೇನು? ಅರಸನು ತಾನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದವನನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಸೇರಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳದೆ ಹೋದದರಿಂದ ಇದನ್ನು ಅಪರಾಧಸ್ಥನ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮಾತಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

14 for we do surely die, and `are' as water which is running down to the earth, which is not gathered, and God doth not accept a person, and hath devised devices in that the outcast is not outcast by Him.ನಾವು ಸಾಯುವದು ಅವಶ್ಯವೇ. ನೆಲದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚೆಲ್ಲಲ್ಪಟ್ಟು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಕೂಡಿಸಲ್ಪಡದ ನೀರಿನ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದೇವೆ. ಆದರೆ ದೇವರು ಯಾರನ್ನೂ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಯಮಾಡುವಾತನಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೂ ಹೊರಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವನು ಹೊರಡಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆಲೋಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವಾತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

15 `And now that I have come to speak unto the king my lord this word, `it is' because the people made me afraid, and thy maid-servant saith, Let me speak, I pray thee, unto the king; it may be the king doth do the word of his handmaid,ಆದದರಿಂದ ಈಗ ಜನರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಭಯಪಡಿಸಿ ದ್ದರಿಂದ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ಅರಸನ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯಾದ ನಾನು ಮಾತನಾ ಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದೆನು.

16 for the king doth hearken to deliver his handmaid out of the paw of the man `seeking' to destroy me and my son together out of the inheritance of God,ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯಾದ ನಾನು ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗುತ್ತೇನೆ; ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿಯಾನು. ಅರಸನು ಕೇಳಿ ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಮಗನನ್ನೂ ದೇವರ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯಲ್ಲಿಂದ ನಾಶಮಾಡಬೇಕಾದ ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ದಾಸಿಯನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸುವನು ಎಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡೆನು.

17 and thy maid-servant saith, Let, I pray thee, the word of my lord the king be for ease; for as a messenger of God so `is' my lord the king, to understand the good and the evil; and Jehovah thy God is with thee.'ಆಗ ನಿನ್ನ ದಾಸಿಯು--ಅರಸ ನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನ ಮಾತು ಆದರಣೆಯಾಗಿರಲಿ; ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನೂ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನೂ ವಿವೇಚಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅರಸ ನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನು ದೇವದೂತನ ಹಾಗೆ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ; ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದಳು.

18 And the king answereth and saith unto the woman, `Do not, I pray thee, hide from me the thing that I am asking thee;' and the woman saith, `Let, I pray thee, my lord the king speak.'ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಗೆ--ನಾನು ನಿನ್ನಿಂದ ಕೇಳುವದನ್ನು ನನಗೆ ಮರೆಮಾಡಬೇಡ ಅಂದನು. ಅದಕ್ಕವಳು--ಅರಸನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನು ಮಾತನಾಡಲಿ ಅಂದಳು.

19 And the king saith, `Is the hand of Joab with thee in all this?' And the woman answereth and saith, `Thy soul liveth, my lord, O king, none `doth turn' to the right or to the left from all that my lord the king hath spoken; for thy servant Joab he commanded me, and he put in the mouth of thy maid-servant all these words;ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಅರಸನು--ಇದೆಲ್ಲಾದರಲ್ಲಿ ಯೋವಾಬನ ಕೈ ನಿನ್ನ ಸಂಗಡ ಉಂಟಲ್ಲವೋ ಅಂದನು. ಆ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯು ಪ್ರತ್ಯುತ್ತರವಾಗಿ--ನಿನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣದ ಜೀವದಾಣೆ, ಅರಸ ನಾದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನೇ, ನೀನು ಹೇಳುವವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದನ್ನಾದರೂ ಯಾವನೂ ಎಡಗಡೆಗಾದರೂ ಬಲ ಗಡೆಗಾದರೂ ತಿರಿಗಿಸಕೂಡದು. ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಯೋವಾಬನು ನನಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿ ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಮಾತು ಗಳನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕಳಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

20 in order to bring round the appearance of the thing hath thy servant Joab done this thing, and my lord `is' wise, according to the wisdom of a messenger of God, to know all that `is' in the land.'ಈ ಮಾತಿನ ರೂಪವನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಯೋವಾಬನು ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದರೆ ಭೂಮಿ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಡಿಯುವದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಿಳಿಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವ ದೂತನ ಜ್ಞಾನದ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನು ಜ್ಞಾನವುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದಳು.

21 And the king saith unto Joab, `Lo, I pray thee, thou hast done this thing; and go, bring back the young man Absalom.'ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅರಸನು ಯೋವಾಬನಿಗೆಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದೆನು; ನೀನು ಹೋಗಿ ಯೌವನಸ್ಥನಾದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮ ನನ್ನು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಾ ಅಂದನು.

22 And Joab falleth on his face to the earth, and doth obeisance, and blesseth the king, and Joab saith, `To-day hath thy servant known that I have found grace in thine eyes, my lord, O king, in that the king hath done the word of his servant.'ಆಗ ಯೋವಾಬನು ನೆಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬಿದ್ದು ಬೊಗ್ಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಅರಸ ನಿಗೆ ವಂದಿಸಿದನು. ಯೋವಾಬನು--ಅರಸನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನ ಮಾತಿನ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ನನ್ನ ಒಡೆಯನಾದ ಅರಸನೇ, ನಿನ್ನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನನಗೆ ದಯೆದೊರಕಿತೆಂಬದು ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯಿತು ಅಂದನು.

23 And Joab riseth and goeth to Geshur, and bringeth in Absalom to Jerusalem,ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯೋವಾಬನು ಎದ್ದು ಗೆಷೂರಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನನ್ನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದನು.

24 and the king saith, `Let him turn round unto his house, and my face he doth not see.' And Absalom turneth round unto his house, and the face of the king he hath not seen.ಆದರೆ ಅರಸನು--ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋಗಲಿ; ಅವನು ನನ್ನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ನೋಡಬಾರದು ಅಂದನು. ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಅರಸನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ನೋಡದೆ ತನ್ನ ಮನೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿ ಹೋದನು.

25 And like Absalom there was no man `so' fair in all Israel, to praise greatly; from the sole of his foot even unto his crown there was no blemish in him;ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಹೊಗಳಲ್ಪ ಡತಕ್ಕ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನಿಗೆ ಸಮಾನನಾದ ಸೌಂದರ್ಯ ವುಳ್ಳವನು ಒಬ್ಬನೂ ಇರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಅವನ ಅಂಗಾಲು ಮೊದಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ನಡುನೆತ್ತಿಯ ವರೆಗೂ ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಕಳಂಕವಾದರೂ ಇಲ್ಲದೆ ಇತ್ತು.

26 and in his polling his head -- and it hath been at the end of year by year that he polleth `it', for it `is' heavy on him, and he hath polled it -- he hath even weighed out the hair of his head -- two hundred shekels by the king's weight.ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ತಲೆಯ ಕೂದಲು ಭಾರವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಪ್ರತಿವರುಷದ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಬೋಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವನು; ಬೋಳಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವಾಗ ಅವನ ತಲೆಯ ಕೂದಲು ಅರಸನ ತೂಕದ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಇನ್ನೂರು ಶೆಕೇಲು ತೂಕವಾಗಿರುವದು.

27 And there are born to Absalom three sons, and one daughter, and her name `is' Tamar; she was a woman of a fair appearance.ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನಿಗೆ ಮೂರು ಮಂದಿ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ತಾಮಾರ್‌ ಎಂಬ ಒಬ್ಬ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯೂ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದರು. ಇವಳು ಸೌಂದರ್ಯ ವುಳ್ಳ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯಾಗಿದ್ದಳು.

28 And Absalom dwelleth in Jerusalem two years of days, and the face of the king he hath not seen;ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಅರಸನ ಮುಖ ವನ್ನು ನೋಡದೆ ಪೂರ್ಣವಾಗಿ ಎರಡು ವರುಷ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

29 and Absalom sendeth unto Joab, to send him unto the king, and he hath not been willing to come unto him; and he sendeth again a second time, and he hath not been willing to come.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಯೋವಾಬನನ್ನು ಕರೇಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು. ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಅವನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬರಲ್ಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋದನು. ಎರಡನೇ ಸಾರಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕರೇಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು; ಮತ್ತೂ ಅವನು ಬರಲ್ಲೊಲ್ಲದೆ ಹೋದನು.

30 And he saith unto his servants, `See, the portion of Joab `is' by the side of mine, and he hath barley there; go, and burn it with fire;' and the servants of Absalom burn the portion with fire.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರಿಗೆ--ನೋಡಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ಹೊಲಕ್ಕೆ ಸವಿಾಪ ವಾಗಿ ಯೋವಾಬನ ಹೊಲವಿದೆ; ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಜವೆ ಗೋಧಿ ಅದೆ; ನೀವು ಹೋಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಡಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಸೇವಕರು ಆ ಹೊಲಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಕಿಯನ್ನು ಹಚ್ಚಿದರು.

31 And Joab riseth and cometh unto Absalom in the house, and saith unto him, `Why have thy servants burned the portion that I have with fire?'ಆಗ ಯೋವಾಬನು ಎದ್ದು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ನನ್ನ ಹೊಲವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಿಂದ ಸುಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟದ್ದೇನು ಎಂದು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

32 And Absalom saith unto Joab, `Lo, I sent unto thee, saying, Come hither, and I send thee unto the king to say, Why have I come in from Geshur? -- good for me while I `am' there -- and now, let me see the king's face, and if there is in me iniquity then thou hast put me to death.'ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನು ಯೋವಾಬನಿಗೆ--ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಗೆಷೂರಿನಿಂದ ಯಾಕೆ ಬಂದೆನೆಂದು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಬಾ ಎಂದು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಕರೇಕಳುಹಿಸಿದೆನು. ನಾನು ಇನ್ನೂ ಅಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಇದ್ದಿದ್ದರೆ ನನಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮವಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈಗ ನಾನು ಅರಸನ ಮುಖವನ್ನು ನೋಡಬೇಕು; ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಅಕ್ರಮ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಅವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಲಿ ಅಂದನು.

33 And Joab cometh unto the king, and declareth `it' to him, and he calleth unto Absalom, and he cometh unto the king, and boweth himself to him, on his face, to the earth, before the king, and the king giveth a kiss to Absalom.ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಯೋವಾಬನು ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅರಸನು ಅಬ್ಷಾ ಲೋಮನನ್ನು ಕರೆಸಿದನು. ಆಗ ಅವನು ಅರಸನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಸಾಷ್ಟಾಂಗನಮಸ್ಕಾರ ಮಾಡಿದನು. ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಅಬ್ಷಾಲೋಮನನ್ನು ಮುದ್ದಿಟ್ಟನು.
