ಆದರೆ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದ ವರು ಅಮ್ಮೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆದುರಾಗಿ ವ್ಯೂಹಕಟ್ಟುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನಾದ ಅಬೀಷೈಯ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟು--

| brother, his | אַבְשַׁ֣י | ʾabšay | av-SHAI |
| array in them put might he that | אָחִ֑יו | ʾāḥîw | ah-HEEOO |
| against | וַיַּֽעֲרֹ֕ךְ | wayyaʿărōk | va-ya-uh-ROKE |
| the children | לִקְרַ֖את | liqrat | leek-RAHT |
| of Ammon. | בְּנֵ֥י | bĕnê | beh-NAY |
| עַמּֽוֹן׃ | ʿammôn | ah-mone |
