1 It happened, when king Hezekiah heard it, that he tore his clothes, and covered himself with sackcloth, and went into the house of Yahweh.ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ತನ್ನ ವಸ್ತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಹರಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಗೋಣೀತಟ್ಟಿನಿಂದ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದನು.

2 He sent Eliakim, who was over the household, and Shebna the scribe, and the elders of the priests, covered with sackcloth, to Isaiah the prophet the son of Amoz.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಗೋಣೀತಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಕೊಂಡ ಮನೆವಾರ್ತೆಯವ ನಾದ ಎಲ್ಯಾಕೀಮನನ್ನೂ ಲೇಖಕನಾದ ಶೆಬ್ನನನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜಕರ ಹಿರಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಆಮೋಚನ ಮಗನಾದ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು.

3 They said to him, Thus says Hezekiah, This day is a day of trouble, and of rebuke, and of rejection; for the children are come to the birth, and there is not strength to bring forth.ಅವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ಇದು ಇಕ್ಕಟ್ಟೂ ಗದರಿಕೆಯೂ ನಿಂದೆಯೂ ಆದ ದಿವಸ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಹೆರಿಗೆಯ ಸಮಯವು ಬಂತು ಆದರೆ ಹೆರುವ ಶಕ್ತಿ ಇಲ್ಲ.

4 It may be Yahweh your God will hear all the words of Rabshakeh, whom the king of Assyria his master has sent to defy the living God, and will rebuke the words which Yahweh your God has heard. Therefore lift up your prayer for the remnant that is left.ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು, ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ದೇವ ರನ್ನು ನಿಂದಿಸಲು ತನ್ನ ಯಜಮಾನನಾದ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಿಂದ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ರಬ್ಷಾಕೆಯ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ, ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಕೇಳಿದ ಅವನ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಅವನನ್ನು ಗದರಿಸುವನು. ಆದ ದರಿಂದ ನೀನು ಉಳಿದವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಬೇಕು ಅಂದನು.

5 So the servants of king Hezekiah came to Isaiah.ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ಸೇವಕರು ಯೆಶಾಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದರು.

6 Isaiah said to them, Thus shall you tell your master, Thus says Yahweh, Don't be afraid of the words that you have heard, with which the servants of the king of Assyria have blasphemed me.ಆಗ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಅವರಿಗೆ -- ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಯಜಮಾನನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ -- ನೀನು ಕೇಳಿದಂಥ, ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನ ಸೇವಕರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ದೂಷಿಸಿದಂಥ, ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ನೀವು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಭಯಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ.

7 Behold, I will put a spirit in him, and he shall hear news, and shall return to his own land; and I will cause him to fall by the sword in his own land.ಇಗೋ, ನಾನು ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಗಾಳಿಯನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸುವೆನು. ಅವನು ಒಂದು ಸುದ್ದಿ ಯನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿ ತನ್ನ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ಹಿಂತಿರುಗುವನು. ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ತನ್ನ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬೀಳಮಾಡು ವೆನು ಎಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.

8 So Rabshakeh returned, and found the king of Assyria warring against Libnah; for he had heard that he was departed from Lachish.ರಬ್ಷಾಕೆಯು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹೋಗುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಲಿಬ್ನದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಂಡನು. ಲಾಕೀಷನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟನೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿದ್ದನು.

9 When he heard say of Tirhakah king of Ethiopia, Behold, he is come out to fight against you, he sent messengers again to Hezekiah, saying,ಆಗ ಅವನು ಕೂಷಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ತಿರ್ಹಾಕನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು--ಇಗೋ, ಅವನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಲು ಹೊರಟಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಕೇಳಿದಾಗ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀ ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ

10 Thus shall you speak to Hezekiah king of Judah, saying, Don't let your God in whom you trust deceive you, saying, Jerusalem shall not be given into the hand of the king of Assyria.ನೀವು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಬೇಕಾದದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮು ಅಶ್ಶೂ ರಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಲ್ಪಡುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ನೀನು ನಂಬಿರುವ ನಿನ್ನ ದೇವರು ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಮೋಸಗೊಳಿಸ ದಿರಲಿ.

11 Behold, you have heard what the kings of Assyria have done to all lands, by destroying them utterly: and shall you be delivered?ಇಗೋ, ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸುಗಳು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಶಾಪಕೊಟ್ಟು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡಿದ ವರ್ತ ಮಾನವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದಿ. ಆದರೆ ನೀನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳು ವಿಯೋ?

12 Have the gods of the nations delivered them, which my fathers have destroyed, Gozan, and Haran, and Rezeph, and the children of Eden that were in Telassar?ನನ್ನ ತಂದೆಗಳು ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿದ ಗೋಜಾನ್‌, ಖಾರಾನ್‌, ರೆಚೆಫ್‌, ತೆಲಸ್ಸಾರ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದ ಎದೆನಿನ ಮಕ್ಕಳು,

13 Where is the king of Hamath, and the king of Arpad, and the king of the city of Sepharvaim, of Hena, and Ivvah?ಈ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ದೇವರುಗಳು ಅವರನ್ನು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ಬಿಟ್ಟರೋ? ಹಮಾತಿನ ಅರಸನೂ ಅರ್ಫಾದಿನ ಅರಸನೂ ಸೆಫರ್ವಯಿಮ್‌ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ, ಹೇನ, ಇವ್ವಾ ಅರಸನೂ ಎಲ್ಲಿ ಎಂಬದೇ.

14 Hezekiah received the letter from the hand of the messengers, and read it; and Hezekiah went up to the house of Yahweh, and spread it before Yahweh.ಹಿಜ್ಕೀ ಯನು ಸೇವಕರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಓದಿದಾಗ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಗೆ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಹಾಸಿದನು.

15 Hezekiah prayed before Yahweh, and said, Yahweh, the God of Israel, who sit [above] the cherubim, you are the God, even you alone, of all the kingdoms of the earth; you have made heaven and earth.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮುಂದೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಕೆರೂಬಿಗಳ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ವಾಗಿರುವ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳಿಗೆ ದೇವ ರಾಗಿದ್ದೀ.

16 Incline your ear, Yahweh, and hear; open your eyes, Yahweh, and see; and hear the words of Sennacherib, with which he has sent him to defy the living God.ನೀನೇ ಆಕಾಶವನ್ನೂ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನೂ ಉಂಟು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೀ. ಕರ್ತನೇ, ಕಿವಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಕೇಳು; ಕರ್ತನೆ, ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದುನೋಡು. ಸನ್ಹೇರೀಬನು ಜೀವವುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರನ್ನು ನಿಂದಿಸಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ ಮಾತು ಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳು.

17 Of a truth, Yahweh, the kings of Assyria have laid waste the nations and their lands,ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನಿಶ್ಚಯವಾಗಿ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸುಗಳು ಜನಾಂಗಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅವರ ದೇಶಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹಾಳು ಮಾಡಿ ಅವರ ದೇವರುಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಕಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

18 and have cast their gods into the fire; for they were no gods, but the work of men's hands, wood and stone; therefore they have destroyed them.ಅವು ದೇವರುಗಳಲ್ಲ, ಮನುಷ್ಯನ ಕೈಕೆಲಸವಾದ ಕಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯೂ ಕಲ್ಲೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದವು.

19 Now therefore, Yahweh our God, save you us, I beg you, out of his hand, that all the kingdoms of the earth may know that you Yahweh are God alone.ಆದದ ರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ನಾಶಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಈಗ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನೇ, ನೀನೊಬ್ಬನೇ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನಾಗಿದ್ದೀ ಎಂದು ಭೂಮಿಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳೂ ತಿಳಿಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಅವನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿ ರಕ್ಷಿಸು ಎಂಬದೇ.

20 Then Isaiah the son of Amoz sent to Hezekiah, saying, Thus says Yahweh, the God of Israel, Whereas you have prayed to me against Sennacherib king of Assyria, I have heard [you].ಆಗ ಆಮೋಚನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನು ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--ಇಸ್ರಾ ಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ --ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸನ್ಹೇರೀಬನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಕೇಳಿ ದ್ದೇನೆ. ಕರ್ತನು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳಿದ ವಾಕ್ಯ ವೇನಂದರೆ--

21 This is the word that Yahweh has spoken concerning him: The virgin daughter of Zion has despised you and ridiculed you; the daughter of Jerusalem has shaken her head at you.ಚೀಯೋನಿನ ಮಗಳಾದ ಕನ್ಯಾಸ್ತ್ರೀ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಉದಾಸೀನ ಮಾಡಿ ನಿನಗೆ ಅಪಹಾಸ್ಯ ಮಾಡು ತ್ತಾಳೆ; ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆ ನಿನ್ನ ಹಿಂದೆ ತಲೆ ಅಲ್ಲಾಡಿಸುತ್ತಾಳೆ.

22 Whom have you defied and blasphemed? and against whom have you exalted your voice and lifted up your eyes on high? [even] against the Holy One of Israel.ಯಾರನ್ನು ನಿಂದಿಸಿ ದೂಷಿ ಸಿದಿ? ಯಾರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಸ್ವರವನ್ನು ಎತ್ತಿ ನಿನ್ನ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳನ್ನು ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಎತ್ತಿದಿ? ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿಯೇ.

23 By your messengers you have defied the Lord, and have said, With the multitude of my chariots am I come up to the height of the mountains, to the innermost parts of Lebanon; and I will cut down the tall cedars of it, and the choice fir trees of it; and I will enter into his farthest lodging-place, the forest of his fruitful field.ನಿನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ನಿಂದಿಸಿ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದು--ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾದ ರಥಗಳಿಂದ ಪರ್ವತಗಳ ಶಿಖರಕ್ಕೂ ಲೆಬನೋನಿನ ಪಾರ್ಶ್ವಗಳಿಗೂ ಹೋಗಿ ಅದರ ಉನ್ನತ ವಾದ ದೇವದಾರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಮುಖ್ಯವಾದ ತುರಾಯಿ ಮರಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕಡಿದು ಅದರ ಅಂಚಿನ ಗಡಿ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಅದರ ಫಲವುಳ್ಳ ಅಡವಿಯ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸೇರುತ್ತೇನೆ.

24 I have dug and drunk strange waters, and with the sole of my feet will I dry up all the rivers of Egypt.ನಾನು ಅಗೆದು ಅನ್ಯರ ನೀರನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದಿದ್ದೇನೆ; ನನ್ನ ಅಂಗಾಲುಗಳಿಂದ ಕೋಟೆ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳ ಪ್ರವಾಹಗಳನ್ನು ಬತ್ತಿಹೋಗುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿ ದ್ದೇನೆ.

25 Haven't you heard how I have done it long ago, and formed it of ancient times? now have I brought it to pass, that it should be yours to lay waste fortified cities into ruinous heaps.ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದೆನೆಂದು ನೀನು ಬಹುಕಾಲದಿಂದಲೂ ನಾನು ಅದನ್ನು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದ್ದೇ ನೆಂದು ನೀನು ಪೂರ್ವದ ದಿವಸಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಕೇಳ ಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಈಗ ಅದನ್ನು ನಾನು ಅನುಭವಿಸುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ, ನೀನು ಬಲವಾದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನು ಹಾಳಾದ ದಿಬ್ಬೆಗಳಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಬಿಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಇರು ವದೇ.

26 Therefore their inhabitants were of small power, they were dismayed and confounded; they were as the grass of the field, and as the green herb, as the grass on the housetops, and as grain blasted before it is grown up.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವುಗಳ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳು ಬಲ ಹೀನರಾಗಿ ಹೆದರಿ ನಾಚಿಕೆಪಟ್ಟರು. ಹೊಲದ ಹುಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಹಸುರು ಪಲ್ಯದ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಮಾಳಿಗೆಗೆಳ ಮೇಲಿರುವ ಹುಲ್ಲಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಬೆಳೆಯುವದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ ಬಾಡುವ ಪೈರಿನ ಹಾಗೆಯೂ ಇದ್ದರು.

27 But I know your sitting down, and your going out, and your coming in, and your raging against me.ನಿನ್ನ ಕೂತಿರುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ಹೊರಡುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಬರುವಿಕೆಯನ್ನೂ ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವ ರೌದ್ರವನ್ನೂ ನಾನು ಬಲ್ಲೆನು.

28 Because of your raging against me, and because your arrogance is come up into my ears, therefore will I put my hook in your nose, and my bridle in your lips, and I will turn you back by the way by which you came.ನೀನು ನನಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವ ನಿನ್ನ ರೌದ್ರವೂ ನಿನ್ನ ಅಹಂಕಾರವೂ ನನ್ನ ಕಿವಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂದದರಿಂದ ನಾನು ನನ್ನ ಕೊಂಡಿಯನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಮೂಗಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನನ್ನ ಕಡಿವಾಣವನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಬಾಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಹಾಕಿ ನೀನು ಬಂದ ಮಾರ್ಗದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿಸುವೆನು.

29 This shall be the sign to you: You shall eat this year that which grows of itself, and in the second year that which springs of the same; and in the third year sow you, and reap, and plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of it.ನಿನಗೆ ಗುರುತು ಇದೇ--ಈ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನಷ್ಟಕ್ಕೆ ತಾನೇ ಬೆಳೆದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಎರಡನೇ ವರುಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದರಿಂದ ಮೊಳೆತದ್ದನ್ನೂ ತಿನ್ನುವಿರಿ; ಆದರೆ ಮೂರನೇ ವರುಷ ದಲ್ಲಿ ನೀವು ಬಿತ್ತಿ ಕೊಯ್ಯಿರಿ; ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷೇ ತೋಟಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಟ್ಟು ಅವುಗಳ ಫಲಗಳನ್ನು ತಿನ್ನಿರಿ.

30 The remnant that has escaped of the house of Judah shall again take root downward, and bear fruit upward.ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮನೆತನದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿದು ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಕೆಳಗೆ ಬೇರೂರಿ ಮೇಲಕ್ಕೆ ಫಲ ಬಿಡುವರು.

31 For out of Jerusalem shall go forth a remnant, and out of Mount Zion those who shall escape: the zeal of Yahweh shall perform this.ಯೆರೂ ಸಲೇಮಿನಿಂದ ಉಳಿದವರೂ ಚಿಯೋನ್‌ ಪರ್ವತ ದಿಂದ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡವರೂ ಹೊರಡುವರು. ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಸಕ್ತಿಯು ಇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವದು.

32 Therefore thus says Yahweh concerning the king of Assyria, He shall not come to this city, nor shoot an arrow there, neither shall he come before it with shield, nor cast up a mound against it.ಆದ ದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಹೇಳುವದೇನಂದರೆ--ಅವನು ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರು ವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅಲ್ಲಿ ಬಾಣವನ್ನು ಎಸೆಯುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಗುರಾಣಿ ಹಿಡಿದುಕೊಂಡು ಅದರ ಮುಂದೆ ಸೇರುವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ದಿನ್ನೆಯನ್ನು ಹಾಕುವದಿಲ್ಲ.

33 By the way that he came, by the same shall he return, and he shall not come to this city, says Yahweh.ಅವನು ಬಂದ ಮಾರ್ಗವಾಗಿಯೇ ತಿರಿಗಿ ಹೋಗುವನು; ಆದರೆ ಅವನು ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

34 For I will defend this city to save it, for my own sake, and for my servant David's sake.ನನ್ನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೂ ನನ್ನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೂ ನಾನು ಈ ಪಟ್ಟಣವನ್ನು ಕಾಪಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸುವೆನು ಎಂಬದೇ.

35 It happened that night, that the angel of Yahweh went forth, and struck in the camp of the Assyrians one hundred eighty-five thousand: and when men arose early in the morning, behold, these were all dead bodies.ಅದೇ ರಾತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಕರ್ತನ ದೂತನು ಹೊರಟು ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ದಂಡಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಲಕ್ಷ ಎಂಭತ್ತೈದು ಸಾವಿರ ಜನರನ್ನು ಸಂಹರಿಸಿದನು. ಉದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ಎದ್ದಾಗ ಇಗೋ, ಅವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಸತ್ತು ಹೆಣಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದರು.

36 So Sennacherib king of Assyria departed, and went and returned, and lived at Nineveh.ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸನ್ಹೇರೀಬನು ಹಿಂತಿರುಗಿಹೋಗಿ ನಿನೆವೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸ ವಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

37 It happened, as he was worshipping in the house of Nisroch his god, that Adrammelech and Sharezer struck him with the sword: and they escaped into the land of Ararat. Esar Haddon his son reigned in his place.ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ದೇವರಾದ ನಿಸ್ರೋಕನ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆರಾಧಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವಾಗ ಅವನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಅದ್ರಮ್ಮೆಲೆಕನೂ ಸರೆಚೆರನೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಹೊಡೆದು ಅರರಾಟ್‌ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ತಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಹೋದರು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಏಸರ್‌ಹದ್ದೋನನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಅರಸನಾದನು.
