1 After these things and this faithfulness, Sennacherib king of Assyria came and entered into Judah, and encamped against the fortified cities, and thought to break into them.ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳೂ ಇವುಗಳ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆಯೂ ಆದ ತರುವಾಯ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸನ್ಹೇರೀಬನು ಹೊರಟು ಬಂದು ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಕೋಟೆಯುಳ್ಳ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಂಡಿಳಿದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ತನಗಾಗಿ ಜಯಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅಂದುಕೊಂಡನು.

2 And when Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib was come, and that he was minded to fight against Jerusalem,ಸನ್ಹೇರೀಬನು ಬಂದದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಅವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡಲು ಮುಖ ತಿರುಗಿಸಿದ್ದನ್ನೂ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಕಂಡಾಗ

3 he took counsel with his princes and his mighty men to stop the fountains of waters that were outside the city; and they helped him.ಅವನು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಹೊರಗಿರುವ ನೀರು ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗ ಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಧಾನರ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ತನ್ನ ಪರಾಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳ ಸಂಗಡಲೂ ಯೋಚಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡನು. ಅವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯಕೊಟ್ಟರು.

4 And there was gathered together much people, and they stopped all the fountains, and the torrent that flows through the midst of the land, saying, Why should the kings of Assyria come and find much water?ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅನೇಕ ಜನರು ಕೂಡಿಕೊಂಡು ನೀರು ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ದೇಶದ ಮಧ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರಿಯುವ ಹಳ್ಳ ವನ್ನೂ ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟು--ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸುಗಳು ಬಂದು ಬಹಳ ನೀರು ದೊರಕಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವದು ಯಾಕೆ ಅಂದರು.

5 And he strengthened himself, and built up all the wall that was broken down, and raised it up to the towers, and [built] another wall outside, and fortified the Millo of the city of David, and made darts and shields in abundance.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಕೆಡವಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ಗೋಪುರಗಳ ಪರ್ಯಂತರ ಅದನ್ನು ಎತ್ತರ ಮಾಡಿ ಅದರ ಹೊರ ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ಗೋಡೆಯನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿ ದಾವೀ ದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಮಿಲ್ಲೋವನ್ನು ದುರಸ್ತುಮಾಡಿ ಈಟಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಗುರಾಣಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಸಿ ದನು.

6 And he set captains of war over the people, and assembled them to him on the open place at the gate of the city, and spoke consolingly to them saying,ಜನರ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧದ ಸೈನ್ಯಗಳ ಅಧಿಪತಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಿ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಬಾಗಲ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಸಮಾಧಾನವಾಗಿ ಅವರ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ--

7 Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him; for there are more with us than with him:ಬಲಗೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ; ಧೈರ್ಯ ವಾಗಿರ್ರಿ; ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೂಡಿರುವ ಮಹಾಗುಂಪಿನ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವೂ ಭಯ ಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಹೆದರಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇರುವವರಿಗಿಂತ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ಅನೇಕರು ಇದ್ದಾರೆ.

8 with him is an arm of flesh, but with us is Jehovah our God to help us and to fight our battles. And the people depended upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾಂಸದ ತೋಳು; ಆದರೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಸಂಗಡ ನಮಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಕೊಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಮ್ಮ ಯುದ್ಧಗಳನ್ನು ನಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ತಾನೇ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ಆದ ದರಿಂದ ಜನರು ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ಮಾತುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆತುಕೊಂಡರು.

9 After this, Sennacherib king of Assyria sent his servants to Jerusalem (but he himself was before Lachish, and all his power with him), unto Hezekiah king of Judah, and unto all Judah that were at Jerusalem, saying,ಇದರ ತರುವಾಯ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸನ್ಹೇ ರೀಬನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಕೂಡಿರುವ ಅವನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಬಲವೂ ಲಾಕೀಷನ್ನು ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಹಾಕಿದಾಗ ಅವನು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀ ಯನ ಬಳಿಗೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಯೆಹೂದದವರ ಬಳಿಗೂ ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರನ್ನು ಕಳು ಹಿಸಿ--ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸನ್ಹೇರೀಬನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ--

10 Thus says Sennacherib king of Assyria: On what do ye rely that ye abide in the siege in Jerusalem?ನೀವು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮುತ್ತಿಗೆ ಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸವಾಗಿರುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಯಾವದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಭರವಸವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದೀರಿ?

11 Does not Hezekiah persuade you, to give yourselves over to die by famine and by thirst, saying, Jehovah our God will deliver us out of the hand of the king of Assyria?ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನು ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸುವನೆಂದು ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಹೇಳಿ ಹಸಿವೆ ಯಿಂದಲೂ ದಾಹದಿಂದಲೂ ಸಾಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸುತ್ತಾನಲ್ಲವೇ?

12 Has not the same Hezekiah removed his high places and his altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem saying, Ye shall worship before *one* altar, and burn incense upon it?ಈ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಉನ್ನತ ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನೂ ಬಲಿಪೀಠಗಳನ್ನೂ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿ ಯೆಹೂದದವರಿಗೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿ ನವರಿಗೂ--ನೀವು ಒಂದೇ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮುಂದೆ ಅಡ್ಡಬಿದ್ದು ಅದರ ಮೇಲೆ ಧೂಪವನ್ನರ್ಪಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾನಲ್ಲವೇ?

13 Do ye not know what I and my fathers have done to all the peoples of the countries? Were the gods of the nations of the countries in any wise able to deliver their country out of my hand?ನಾನೂ ನನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳೂ ದೇಶ ಗಳ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದನ್ನು ನೀವು ತಿಳಿಯಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ? ಆ ದೇಶಗಳ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ದೇವರುಗಳು ಆ ದೇಶ ಗಳನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೇಗಾದರೂ ಬಿಡಿಸಲು ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವುಳ್ಳವುಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವೋ?

14 Who is there among all the gods of those nations that my fathers have utterly destroyed, that was able to deliver his people out of my hand, that your God should be able to deliver you out of my hand?ನನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ನಿರ್ಮೂಲ ಮಾಡಿದ ಆ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಸಮಸ್ತ ದೇವ ರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಲು ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವುಳ್ಳದ್ದು ಯಾವದು? ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಹೇಗೆ ಬಿಡಿಸ ಬಹುದು?

15 And now, let not Hezekiah deceive you, nor persuade you in this manner, neither yet believe him; for no +god of any nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people out of my hand, nor out of the hand of my fathers: how much less shall your God deliver you out of my hand?ಆದದರಿಂದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ವಂಚಿಸಿ ಈ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪ್ರೇರೇಪಿಸದಿರಲಿ; ಅವನ ಮಾತು ನಂಬಬೇಡಿರಿ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ ನನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಜನರನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಲು ಸಕಲ ಜನಾಂಗ, ರಾಜ್ಯಗಳ ದೇವರುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವುಳ್ಳ ದೇವರು ಒಂದೂ ಇಲ್ಲ. ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಡಿಸಲು ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರು ಎಷ್ಟರವನು ಅನ್ನುತ್ತಾನೆ.

16 And his servants spoke yet more against Jehovah, the [true] God, and against his servant Hezekiah.ಹೀಗೆ ಅವನ ಸೇವಕರು ಇನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧ ವಾಗಿಯೂ ಆತನ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಹೀಜ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋ ಧವಾಗಿಯೂ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

17 And he wrote a letter to rail at Jehovah the God of Israel, and to speak against him saying, As the gods of the nations of the countries have not delivered their people out of my hand, so shall not the God of Hezekiah deliver his people out of my hand.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ನಿಂದಿಸುವ ದಕ್ಕೂ ಆತನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ಬರೆದನು. ಏನಂದರೆ--ಇತರ ದೇಶಗಳ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ದೇವರುಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ಜನರನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಹೇಗೆ ಬಿಡಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲವೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ದೇವರು ತನ್ನ ಜನರನ್ನು ನನ್ನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದ ಬಿಡಿಸಲಾರನು.

18 And they cried with a loud voice in the Jewish [language] to the people of Jerusalem that were on the wall, to frighten them and to trouble them; that they might take the city.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ಪಟ್ಟಣ ವನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಗೋಡೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಇರುವ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಜನರನ್ನು ಭಯಪಡಿಸುವ ದಕ್ಕೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳವಳಪಡಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಯೆಹೂದ್ಯರ ಭಾಷೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಟ್ಟಿಯಾದ ಶಬ್ದದಿಂದ ಕೂಗಿ ಹೇಳಿ ದರು.

19 And they spoke of the God of Jerusalem as of the gods of the peoples of the earth, the work of man's hand.ಮನುಷ್ಯರ ಕೈ ಕೆಲಸವಾದ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಜನಗಳ ದೇವರುಗಳಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಹಾಗೆ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.

20 And because of this, king Hezekiah and the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz prayed and cried to heaven.ಇದರ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನೂ ಆಮೋ ಚನ ಮಗನಾಗಿರುವ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಯೆಶಾಯನೂ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆಮಾಡಿ ಪರಲೋಕಕ್ಕೆ ಕೂಗಿದರು.

21 And Jehovah sent an angel, who cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the princes and the captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. And he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came forth of his own bowels made him fall there with the sword.ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ದೂತನನ್ನು ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು; ಅವನು ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನ ದಂಡಿನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಪರಾ ಕ್ರಮಶಾಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಾಯಕರನ್ನೂ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ನಿರ್ಮೂಲಮಾಡಿದನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಇವನು ಲಜ್ಜಾ ಮುಖದಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ದೇಶಕ್ಕೆ ತಿರುಗಿದನು. ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ದೇವರ ಮನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿದಾಗ ಅವನ ಹೊಟ್ಟೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು.

22 And Jehovah saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all, and protected them on every side.ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಕರ್ತನು ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯ ನನ್ನೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಅಶ್ಶೂರಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಸನ್ಹೇರೀಬನ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ ಸಮಸ್ತರ ಕೈಯೊಳಗಿಂದಲೂ ರಕ್ಷಿಸಿ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ಅವ ರನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದನು.

23 And many brought gifts unto Jehovah to Jerusalem, and precious things to Hezekiah king of Judah; and he was thenceforth magnified in the sight of all the nations.ಅನೇಕರು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿ ನಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೆ ವಸ್ತುಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಂದರು. ಅಂದಿನಿಂದ ಅವನು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಜನಾಂಗಗಳ ಸಮ್ಮುಖ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತಕ್ಕೇರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟನು.

24 In those days Hezekiah was sick unto death, and he prayed to Jehovah; and he spoke to him and gave him a sign.ಆ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಸಾಯುವ ರೋಗ ದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಮಾಡಿ ದನು. ಆಗ ಆತನು ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ ಗುರುತನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

25 But Hezekiah rendered not again according to the benefit [done] to him, for his heart was lifted up; and there was wrath upon him, and upon Judah and Jerusalem.ಆದರೆ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀ ಯನು ತನಗೆ ಆದ ಉಪಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ನಡೆಯದೆ ಇದ್ದನು; ಅವನ ಹೃದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಹಂಕಾರ ತುಂಬಿತ್ತು; ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಯೆಹೂದ ಯೆರೂ ಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ರೌದ್ರ ಉಂಟಾಯಿತು.

26 And Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of Jehovah came not upon them in the days of Hezekiah.ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯದ ಗರ್ವದ ವಿಷಯ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಾವು ತಗ್ಗಿಸಿಕೊಂಡದ್ದರಿಂದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ರೌದ್ರವು ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ.

27 And Hezekiah had very much riches and honour; and he made himself treasuries for silver, and for gold, and for precious stones, and for spices, and for shields, and for all manner of pleasant vessels;ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನಿಗೆ ಅತ್ಯಧಿಕವಾದ ಐಶ್ವರ್ಯವೂ ಘನವೂ ಇದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಬಂಗಾರ ರತ್ನ ಸುಗಂಧದ್ರವ್ಯ ಗುರಾಣಿಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಿಧದ ಮನೋಹರವಾದ ಆಭರಣಗಳಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ತನಗೆ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟಿಸಿದನು.

28 storehouses also for the increase of corn and new wine and oil, and stalls for all manner of beasts, and [he procured] flocks for the stalls.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಧಾನ್ಯದ ಹುಟ್ಟುವಳಿಯೂ ದ್ರಾಕ್ಷಾರಸವೂ ಎಣ್ಣೆಯೂ ಇವುಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಉಗ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಕಲವಿಧ ವಾದ ಪಶುಗಳ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿಗೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕುರಿ ಮಂದೆಯ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಹಟ್ಟಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಮಾಡಿದನು.

29 And he provided for himself cities, and possessions of flocks and herds in abundance; for God gave him very much substance.ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ತನಗೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳನ್ನೂ ದನಕುರಿಗಳ ಸ್ವಾಸ್ತ್ಯವನ್ನೂ ಬಹಳವಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು. ದೇವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬಹು ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿ ಸಂಪತ್ತನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟನು.

30 And he, Hezekiah, stopped the upper outlet of the waters of Gihon, and brought it straight down to the west side of the city of David. And Hezekiah prospered in all his works.ಈ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಗೀಹೋನೆಂಬ ಮೇಲಿನ ಕಾಲುವೆಯನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿಬಿಟ್ಟು ಅದನ್ನು ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ದಿಕ್ಕಿಗೆ ಕಾಲುವೆಯಾಗಿ ಬರಮಾಡಿದನು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ತನ್ನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವೃದ್ಧಿಹೊಂದಿ ದನು.

31 However in [the matter of] the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon, who sent to him to inquire of the wonder that was done in the land, God left him, to try him, that he might know all [that was] in his heart.ಆದರೆ ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಅದ್ಭುತಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ವಿಚಾ ರಣೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಬಾಬೆಲಿನ ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳಿಂದ ತನ್ನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಗಳ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಹೃದಯದೊಳಗಿದ್ದದ್ದನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಶೋಧಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ದೇವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಬಿಟ್ಟನು.

32 And the rest of the acts of Hezekiah and his good deeds, behold, they are written in the vision of the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ಮಿಕ್ಕಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಗಳೂ ಅವನ ಒಳ್ಳೆಯತನವೂ ಇಗೋ, ಅವು ಆಮೋಚನ ಮಗನೂ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯೂ ಆದ ಯೆಶಾಯನ ದರ್ಶನದ ಪುಸ್ತಕ ದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆಹೂದ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್‌ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ.

33 And Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the highest place of the sepulchres of the sons of David; and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem did him honour at his death. And Manasseh his son reigned in his stead.ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಸಂಗಡ ನಿದ್ರಿಸಿದನು; ಅವರು ದಾವೀದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವ ನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು. ಅವನ ಮರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಯೆಹೂದದವರೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ನಿವಾಸಿಗಳೂ ಅವನನ್ನು ಘನಪಡಿಸಿದರು. ಅವನ ಮಗನಾದ ಮನ ಸ್ಸೆಯು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಆಳಿದನು.
