2 Chronicles 29:1-35 in Kannada

1 Hezekiah began to reign when he was five and twenty years old, and he reigned nine and twenty years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.

2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that David his father had done.

3 He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of the Lord, and repaired them.

4 And he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the east street,

5 And said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the Lord God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.

6 For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the eyes of the Lord our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the Lord, and turned their backs.

7 Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place unto the God of Israel.

8 Wherefore the wrath of the Lord was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he hath delivered them to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as ye see with your eyes.

9 For, lo, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.

10 Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the Lord God of Israel, that his fierce wrath may turn away from us.

11 My sons, be not now negligent: for the Lord hath chosen you to stand before him, to serve him, and that ye should minister unto him, and burn incense.

12 Then the Levites arose, Mahath the son of Amasai, and Joel the son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites: and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehalelel: and of the Gershonites; Joah the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah:

13 And of the sons of Elizaphan; Shimri, and Jeiel: and of the sons of Asaph; Zechariah, and Mattaniah:

14 And of the sons of Heman; Jehiel, and Shimei: and of the sons of Jeduthun; Shemaiah, and Uzziel.

15 And they gathered their brethren, and sanctified themselves, and came, according to the commandment of the king, by the words of the Lord, to cleanse the house of the Lord.

16 And the priests went into the inner part of the house of the Lord, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the Lord into the court of the house of the Lord. And the Levites took it, to carry it out abroad into the brook Kidron.

17 Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of the Lord: so they sanctified the house of the Lord in eight days; and in the sixteenth day of the first month they made an end.

18 Then they went in to Hezekiah the king, and said, We have cleansed all the house of the Lord, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread table, with all the vessels thereof.

19 Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign did cast away in his transgression, have we prepared and sanctified, and, behold, they are before the altar of the Lord.

20 Then Hezekiah the king rose early, and gathered the rulers of the city, and went up to the house of the Lord.

21 And they brought seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven he goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for Judah. And he commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the altar of the Lord.

22 So they killed the bullocks, and the priests received the blood, and sprinkled it on the altar: likewise, when they had killed the rams, they sprinkled the blood upon the altar: they killed also the lambs, and they sprinkled the blood upon the altar.

23 And they brought forth the he goats for the sin offering before the king and the congregation; and they laid their hands upon them:

24 And the priests killed them, and they made reconciliation with their blood upon the altar, to make an atonement for all Israel: for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.

25 And he set the Levites in the house of the Lord with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king’s seer, and Nathan the prophet: for so was the commandment of the Lord by his prophets.

26 And the Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.

27 And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the Lord began also with the trumpets, and with the instruments ordained by David king of Israel.

28 And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded: and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.

29 And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped.

30 Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the Lord with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.

31 Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now ye have consecrated yourselves unto the Lord, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the Lord. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings.

32 And the number of the burnt offerings, which the congregation brought, was threescore and ten bullocks, an hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all these were for a burnt offering to the Lord.

33 And the consecrated things were six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep.

34 But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the other priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.

35 And also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings, and the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of the Lord was set in order.

1 ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಆಳಲಾರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೈದು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೆರೂಸ ಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಇಪ್ಪತ್ತೊಂಭತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಆಳಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿಯ ಹೆಸರು ಅಬೀಯಳು; ಇವಳು ಜೆಕರೀಯನ ಮಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದಳು.
Hezekiah began to reign when he was five and twenty years old, and he reigned nine and twenty years in Jerusalem. And his mother’s name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.

2 ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಪಿತೃವಾದ ದಾವೀದನು ಮಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾದರ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕರ್ತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಸರಿಯಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು.
And he did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, according to all that David his father had done.

3 ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಆಳ್ವಿಕೆಯ ಮೊದಲನೇ ವರುಷದ ಮೊದಲನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯ ಬಾಗಲು ಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆದು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಭದ್ರಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು.
He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of the Lord, and repaired them.

4 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವನು ಯಾಜಕರನ್ನೂ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಕರೆಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಮೂಡಣ ಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಕೊಂಡು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದೇನಂದರೆ--
And he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the east street,

5 ಲೇವಿಯರೇ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ; ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ಕರ್ತನಾದ ದೇವರ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಅದರ ಮೈಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಾನದಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಹಾಕಿರಿ.
And said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the Lord God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.

6 ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಅಪರಾಧಮಾಡಿ ನಮ್ಮ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಗೆ ಕೆಟ್ಟದ್ದನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿ ಆತನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕರ್ತನ ನಿವಾಸ ಸ್ಥಾನದ ಕಡೆಯಿಂದ ತಮ್ಮ ಮುಖಗಳನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಬೆನ್ನುಗಳನ್ನು ತೋರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the eyes of the Lord our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the Lord, and turned their backs.

7 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅವರು ದ್ವಾರಾಂಗಳದ ಬಾಗಲುಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಚ್ಚಿ ದೀಪಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಿಸಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಧೂಪವನ್ನು ಸುಡದೆ, ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿ ಸದೆ ಹೋದರು.
Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place unto the God of Israel.

8 ಆದದರಿಂದ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಮೇಲೆ ಯೂ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನವರ ಮೇಲೆಯೂ ಕರ್ತನ ರೌದ್ರವಾಯಿತು; ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮ ಕಣ್ಣುಗಳಿಂದ ನೋಡುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಆತನು ಅವರನ್ನು ಕಳವಳಕ್ಕೂ ವಿಸ್ಮಯಕ್ಕೂ ಅಪಹಾಸ್ಯಕ್ಕೂ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟನು.
Wherefore the wrath of the Lord was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he hath delivered them to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as ye see with your eyes.

9 ಅದ ಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಇಗೋ, ನಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳು ಕತ್ತಿಯಿಂದ ಬಿದ್ದಿ ದ್ದಾರೆ; ನಮ್ಮ ಕುಮಾರರೂ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆಯರೂ ಹೆಂಡ ತಿಯರೂ ಸೆರೆಯಲ್ಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
For, lo, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.

10 ಈಗ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಉಗ್ರಕೋಪವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗುವ ಹಾಗೆ ನಾನು ಆತನ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿ ಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಲು ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the Lord God of Israel, that his fierce wrath may turn away from us.

11 ನನ್ನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ಉದಾಸೀನರಾಗಿರಬೇಡಿರಿ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ತನ್ನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವದಕ್ಕೂ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಸೇವಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಸೇವಕರಾಗಿರುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಧೂಪಸುಡುವದಕ್ಕೂ ಕರ್ತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.
My sons, be not now negligent: for the Lord hath chosen you to stand before him, to serve him, and that ye should minister unto him, and burn incense.

12 ಆಗ ಲೇವಿಯರಾದ ಕೆಹಾತ್ಯರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮಾಸೈ ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಮಹತನೂ ಅಜರ್ಯನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋವೇಲೂ ಮೆರಾರೀಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಅಬ್ದೀಯ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಕೀಷನೂ ಯಹಲ್ಲೇಲನ ಮಗನಾದ ಅಜ ರ್ಯನೂ ಗೆರ್ಷೋನ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಜಿಮ್ಮನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೋವಾಹನೂ ಯೋವಾಹನ ಮಗನಾದ ಏದೆನೂ
Then the Levites arose, Mahath the son of Amasai, and Joel the son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites: and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehalelel: and of the Gershonites; Joah the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah:

13 ಎಲೀಚಾಫಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶಿಮ್ರಿಯೂ ಯೆಗೀ ಯೇಲನೂ ಆಸಾಫನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ
And of the sons of Elizaphan; Shimri, and Jeiel: and of the sons of Asaph; Zechariah, and Mattaniah:

14 ಜೆಕರ್ಯನೂ ಮತ್ತನ್ಯನೂ ಹೆಮಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯೆಹೀಯೇಲನೂ ಶಿಮ್ಮನೂ ಯೆದುತೂನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಲ್ಲಿ ಶೆಮಾಯನೂ ಉಜ್ಜೀಯೇಲನೂ ಎದ್ದರು.
And of the sons of Heman; Jehiel, and Shimei: and of the sons of Jeduthun; Shemaiah, and Uzziel.

15 ಇವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಸಹೋ ದರರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡು ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯದಿಂದ ಅರಸನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಶುಚಿಮಾಡಲು ಬಂದರು.
And they gathered their brethren, and sanctified themselves, and came, according to the commandment of the king, by the words of the Lord, to cleanse the house of the Lord.

16 ಯಾಜ ಕರು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಶುಚಿಮಾಡಲು ಅದರ ಒಳಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವೇಶಿಸಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮಂದಿರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಡ ಮೈಲಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯ ಅಂಗಳದೊಳಗೆ ತಂದರು; ಆಗ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಅದನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಕಿದ್ರೋನು ಹಳ್ಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಕಲು ಹೊರಗೆ ಒಯ್ದರು.

17 ಅವರು ಮೊದಲನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಮೊದಲನೇ ದಿವಸ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿ ಆ ತಿಂಗಳ ಎಂಟನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ದ್ವಾರಾಂಗಳದ ವರೆಗೂ ಬಂದರು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಎಂಟು ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಮನೆಯನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಮೊದಲನೇ ತಿಂಗಳಿನ ಹದಿನಾರನೇ ದಿವಸದಲ್ಲಿ ತೀರಿಸಿದರು.
Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of the Lord: so they sanctified the house of the Lord in eight days; and in the sixteenth day of the first month they made an end.

18 ಆಗ ಅವರು ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಆಲಯವನ್ನೂ ದಹನಬಲಿಯ ಯಜ್ಞವೇದಿಯನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದ ರೊಟ್ಟಿಯ ಮೇಜನ್ನೂ ಅದರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಶುಚಿಮಾಡಿದೆವು.
Then they went in to Hezekiah the king, and said, We have cleansed all the house of the Lord, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread table, with all the vessels thereof.

19 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ಆಹಾಜನು ಆಳಿದಾಗ ತನ್ನ ಅಕೃತ್ಯದಿಂದ ಬಿಸಾಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಾಮಾನುಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧ ಮಾಡಿ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿದೆವು; ಇಗೋ, ಅವು ಕರ್ತನ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮುಂದಿರುತ್ತವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

20 ಆಗ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಉದಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಎದ್ದು ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪ್ರಧಾನರನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಹೋದನು.
Then Hezekiah the king rose early, and gathered the rulers of the city, and went up to the house of the Lord.

21 ಅವರು ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧ ಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಯೆಹೂದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೂ ಪಾಪದ ಬಲಿಯಾಗಿ ಏಳು ಹೋರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಏಳು ಟಗರುಗಳನ್ನೂ ಏಳು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಏಳು ಮೇಕೆ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಂದರು. ಆಗ ಕರ್ತನ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲು ಆರೋನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳಾದ ಯಾಜಕರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದನು.

22 ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಹೋರಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ವಧಿಸಿದಾಗ ಯಾಜಕರು ಅವುಗಳ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿಮಿಕಿಸಿದರು; ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಟಗರುಗಳನ್ನು ವಧಿಸಿ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿಮಿಕಿಸಿದರು; ಅವರು ಕುರಿಮರಿ ಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಧಿಸಿ ರಕ್ತವನ್ನು ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಿಮಿಕಿಸಿದರು.
So they killed the bullocks, and the priests received the blood, and sprinkled it on the altar: likewise, when they had killed the rams, they sprinkled the blood upon the altar: they killed also the lambs, and they sprinkled the blood upon the altar.

23 ಅರಸನ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಸಭೆಯ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಪಾಪದ ಬಲಿಯಾದ ಮೇಕೆ ಹೋತ ಗಳನ್ನು ಹತ್ತಿರ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ತಮ್ಮ ಕೈಗಳನ್ನು ಅವುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟರು.
And they brought forth the he goats for the sin offering before the king and the congregation; and they laid their hands upon them:

24 ಆಗ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಪ್ರಾಯಶ್ಚಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಯಾಜಕರು ಅವುಗಳನ್ನು ವಧಿಸಿ ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವುಗಳ ರಕ್ತದಿಂದ ಪಾಪ ನಿವಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ದಹನಬಲಿಯೂ ಪಾಪದ ಬಲಿಯೂ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಆಗ ಬೇಕೆಂದು ಅರಸನು ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದನು,

25 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದಾವೀದನೂ ಅರಸನ ದರ್ಶಿಯಾದ ಗಾದನೂ ಪ್ರವಾ ದಿಯಾದ ನಾತಾನನೂ ಇವರ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ತಾಳ ವೀಣೆ ಕಿನ್ನರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹಿಡಿದವರಾಗಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿದನು. ಕರ್ತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯು ಅವನ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳ ಮುಖಾಂತರ ಹಾಗೆ ಇತ್ತು.

26 ಲೇವಿಯರು ದಾವೀದನ ವಾದ್ಯಗಳನ್ನೂ ಯಾಜಕರು ತುತೂರಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಹಿಡಿದು ನಿಂತಿರುವಾಗ
And the Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.

27 ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಬಲಿಪೀಠದ ಮೇಲೆ ದಹನಬಲಿ ಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲು ಹೇಳಿದನು. ದಹನಬಲಿಯನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ ತುತೂರಿಗಳಿಂದಲೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ದಾವೀದನ ವಾದ್ಯಗ ಳಿಂದಲೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಹಾಡು ಆರಂಭವಾಯಿತು.
And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the Lord began also with the trumpets, and with the instruments ordained by David king of Israel.

28 ಆಗ ಸಭೆಯವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಆರಾಧಿಸಿದರು. ದಹನಬಲಿ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿ ತೀರಿಸುವ ಪರ್ಯಂತರ ಹಾಡುಗಾರರು ಹಾಡಿದರು, ತುತೂರಿ ಊದುವವರು ಊದಿದರು.
And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded: and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.

29 ಅವರು ಅರ್ಪಿಸುವದು ತೀರಿದಾಗ ಅರಸನೂ ಅವನ ಸಂಗಡ ಇದ್ದವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಬೊಗ್ಗಿ ಆರಾಧಿಸಿ ದರು.
And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped.

30 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನೂ ಪ್ರಧಾ ನರೂ ದಾವೀದನ ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯಾದ ಆಸಾಫನ ಮಾತುಗಳಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಸ್ತುತಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಲೇವಿ ಯರಿಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಆಗ ಅವರು ಸಂತೋಷವಾಗಿ ಸ್ತುತಿಸಿ ಬೊಗ್ಗಿಕೊಂಡು ಆರಾಧಿಸಿದರು.
Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the Lord with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.

31 ಹಿಜ್ಕೀಯನು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತರಕೊಟ್ಟು--ಈಗ ನೀವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಮಾಡಿದ್ದ ರಿಂದ ಸವಿಾಪಕ್ಕೆ ಬಂದು ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಬನ್ನಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆಗ ಕೂಟದವರು ಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸ್ತೋತ್ರದ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳನ್ನೂ ಉಚಿತಾರ್ಥ ವಾಗಿ ಕೊಡಲು ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವರು ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೂ ತಂದರು.
Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now ye have consecrated yourselves unto the Lord, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the Lord. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings.

32 ಸಭೆಯು ತಂದ ದಹನ ಬಲಿಗಳ ಲೆಕ್ಕ ವೇನಂದರೆ: ಎಪ್ಪತ್ತು ಹೋರಿಗಳು, ನೂರು ಟಗರು ಗಳು, ಇನ್ನೂರು ಕುರಿಮರಿಗಳು. ಇವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದ ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳಾಗಿದ್ದವು.
And the number of the burnt offerings, which the congregation brought, was threescore and ten bullocks, an hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all these were for a burnt offering to the Lord.

33 ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆ ಮಾಡ ಲ್ಪಟ್ಟವುಗಳು ಆರುನೂರು ಹೋರಿಗಳೂ ಮೂರು ಸಾವಿರ ಕುರಿಗಳೂ ಇದ್ದವು.
And the consecrated things were six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep.

34 ಯಾಜಕರು ಸ್ವಲ್ಪ ಜನರಾಗಿದ್ದು ದಹನಬಲಿಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಸುಲಿಯಲಾರದೆ ಇದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸವು ತೀರುವ ವರೆಗೂ ಯಾಜಕರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ವರೆಗೂ ಲೇವಿ ಯರಾದ ಅವರ ಸಹೋದರರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಹಾಯ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಪರಿಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಯಾಜಕರಿಗಿಂತ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಯಥಾರ್ಥ ಹೃದಯವುಳ್ಳವರಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the other priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.

35 ಇದಲ್ಲದೆ ದಹನಬಲಿ ಗಳೂ ಸಮಾಧಾನದ ಬಲಿಗಳ ಕೊಬ್ಬೂ ದಹನ ಬಲಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾದ ಪಾನದ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಗಳೂ ಬಹಳ ವಾಗಿದ್ದವು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದ ಸೇವೆಯು ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಯಿತು.
And also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings, and the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of the Lord was set in order.
