2 Chronicles 24 - BBE (Kannada)

1 Joash was seven years old when he became king, and he was ruling for forty years in Jerusalem: his mother's name was Zibiah of Beer-sheba.ಯೆಹೋವಾಷನು ಆಳಲು ಆರಂಭಿಸಿದಾಗ ಏಳು ವರುಷದವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಯೆರೂ ಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ವತ್ತು ವರುಷ ಆಳಿದನು. ಅವನ ತಾಯಿ ಬೇರ್ಷೆಬ ಊರಿನವಳಾದ ಚಿಬ್ಯಳೆಂಬವಳು.

2 And Joash did what was right in the eyes of the Lord as long as Jehoiada the priest was living.ಯೆಹೋವಾಷನು ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾ ದನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರಿಯಾದದ್ದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದನು.

3 And Jehoiada took two wives for him, and he became the father of sons and daughters.ಯೆಹೋಯಾ ದನು ಅವನಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ಇಬ್ಬರು ಹೆಂಡತಿಯರನ್ನು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡನು. ಅವನು ಕುಮಾರರನ್ನೂ ಕುಮಾರ್ತೆ ಯರನ್ನೂ ಪಡೆದನು.

4 Now after this Joash had a desire to put the house of the Lord into good order again;ಇದರ ತರುವಾಯ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಯೆಹೋ ವಾಷನು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ದುರಸ್ತು ಮಾಡುವ ಮನಸ್ಸುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

5 And getting together the priests and Levites, he said to them, Go out into the towns of Judah year by year, and get from all Israel money to keep the house of your God in good condition; and see that this is done without loss of time. The Levites, however, were slow in doing so.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವನು ಯಾಜ ಕರನ್ನೂ ಲೇವಿಯರನ್ನೂ ಕೂಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಅವರಿಗೆನೀವು ಯೆಹೂದ ಪಟ್ಟಣಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೊರಟು ಹೋಗಿ ವರುಷ ವರುಷಕ್ಕೆ ನಿಮ್ಮ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ದುರಸ್ತು ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮಸ್ತ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಂದ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಕೂಡಿಸಿರಿ. ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಶೀಘ್ರವಾಗಿ ನಡಿಸಿರಿ ಅಂದನು. ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಲೇವಿಯರು ಅವಸರ ಮಾಡದೆ ಇದ್ದರು.

6 Then the king sent for Jehoiada, the chief priest, and said to him, Why have you not given the Levites orders that the tax fixed by Moses, the servant of the Lord, and by the meeting of Israel, for the Tent of witness, is to be got in from Judah and Jerusalem and handed over?ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥನಾದ ಯೆಹೋ ಯಾದನನ್ನು ಕರೇಕಳುಹಿಸಿ ಅವನಿಗೆ--ಕರ್ತನ ಸೇವಕ ನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಸಭೆಯೂ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯ ಗುಡಾರದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆ ಯನ್ನು ಯೆಹೂದದಿಂದಲೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿ ನಿಂದಲೂ ಬರುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಲು ನೀನು ಲೇವಿಯ ರನ್ನು ಯಾಕೆ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ?

7 For the house of the Lord had been broken up by Athaliah, that evil woman, and her sons; and all its holy things they had given to the Baals.ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆ ದುಷ್ಟ ಸ್ತ್ರೀಯಾದ ಅತಲ್ಯಳ ಕುಮಾರರು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಒಡೆದು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಠೆಮಾಡಿ ದವುಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಬಾಳನಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟರು ಅಂದನು.

8 So at the king's order they made a chest and put it outside the doorway of the house of the Lord.ಅರ ಸನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಯ ಮೇರೆಗೆ ಅವರು ಒಂದು ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದ ಬಾಗಲಿನ ಹೊರಗೆ ಇಟ್ಟರು.

9 And an order was sent out through all Judah and Jerusalem that payment was to be made to the Lord of the tax which Moses, the servant of God, had put on Israel in the waste land.ದೇವರ ಸೇವಕನಾದ ಮೋಶೆಯು ಅರಣ್ಯ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞಾಪಿಸಿದ ಕಾಣಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನಿಗೆ ತರಬೇಕೆಂದು ಯೆಹೂದದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಯೆರೂ ಸಲೇಮಿನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಕಟಮಾಡಿದರು.

10 And all the chiefs and all the people came gladly and put their money into the chest, till they had all given.ಆಗ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಧಾನರೂ ಜನರೂ ಸಂತೋಷಪಟ್ಟು ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ಒಂದು ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯೊಳಗೆ ತುಂಬುವಷ್ಟು ಹಾಕಿದರು.

11 So when the chest was taken to the king's servants by the Levites, and they saw that there was much money in it, the king's scribe and the chief priest's servant took the money out, and put the chest back in its place. They did this day by day, and got together a great amount of money.ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯು ಲೇವಿಯರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಅರಸನ ಆಸ್ಥಾನಕ್ಕೆ ತರಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಾಗ ಅದರಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹಳ ಹಣ ಕಾಣಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅರಸನ ಶಾಸ್ತ್ರಿಯೂ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಯಾಜಕನ ಪರಿಚಾರ ಕನೂ ಬಂದು ಪೆಟ್ಟಿಗೆಯನ್ನು ಬರಿದುಮಾಡಿ ತಕ್ಕೊಂಡು ತಿರಿಗಿ ಅದರ ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ಒಯ್ದಿಟ್ಟರು. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಅವರು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನ ಮಾಡಿ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಬಹಳ ಕೂಡಿಸಿದರು.

12 Then the king and Jehoiada gave it to those who were responsible for getting the work done on the Lord's house, and with it they got wall-builders and woodworkers and metal-workers to put the house of the Lord in good order again.ಆಗ ಅರಸನೂ ಯೆಹೋಯಾದನೂ ಅದನ್ನು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದ ಸೇವೆಯ ಕಾರ್ಯವನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವ ವರಿಗೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಅವರಿಂದ ಮಾಡಿಸಿದನು. ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ದುರಸ್ತು ಪಡಿಸುವ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಕಲ್ಲು ಕಡಿಯುವವರನ್ನೂ ಬಡಿಗಿಯವರನ್ನೂ ಕೂಲಿಗೆ ಕರ ಕೊಂಡರು. ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಭದ್ರಮಾಡುವ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಕಬ್ಬಿಣ ಹಿತ್ತಾಳೆ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುವವರನ್ನು ಕೂಲಿಗೆ ಕರಕೊಂಡರು.

13 So the workmen did their work, making good what was damaged and building up the house of God till it was strong and beautiful again.ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಕೆಲಸದವರು ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ನಡಿಸಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಕೆಲಸವು ಅವರ ಕೈಯಿಂದ ಪೂರ್ಣ ವಾಯಿತು, ಅವರು ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಇದ್ದ ಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಿ ಅದನ್ನು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

14 And when the work was done, they took the rest of the money to the king and Jehoiada, and it was used for making the vessels for the house of the Lord, all the vessels needed for the offerings, the spoons and the vessels of gold and silver. And as long as Jehoiada was living, the regular burned offerings were offered in the house of the Lord.ಅವರು ಅದನ್ನು ಮುಗಿಸಿದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಿಕ್ಕ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಅರ ಸನ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ಯೆಹೋಯಾದನ ಮುಂದೆಯೂ ತಂದರು. ಅದರಿಂದ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ಬಂಗಾ ರದ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳಾದ ಸೇವೆಯ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳೂ ಅರ್ಪಣೆಯ ಪಾತ್ರೆಗಳೂ ಸೌಟುಗಳೂ ಮಾಡಲ್ಪ ಟ್ಟವು. ಯೆಹೋಯಾದನ ಸಮಸ್ತ ದಿವಸಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ದಹನಬಲಿ ಗಳನ್ನು ಅರ್ಪಿಸಿದರು.

15 But Jehoiada became old and full of days, and he came to his end; he was a hundred and thirty years old at the time of his death.ಯೆಹೋಯಾದನು ಮುದುಕನಾಗಿ ದಿವಸಗಳು ತುಂಬಿ ಸತ್ತುಹೋದನು. ಅವನು ಸಾಯುವಾಗ ನೂರ ಮೂವತ್ತು ವರುಷಗಳುಳ್ಳವನಾಗಿದ್ದನು.

16 And they put him into his last resting-place in the town of David, among the kings, because he had done good in Israel for God and for his house.ಅವನು ದೇವರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರವಾಗಿಯೂ ಆತನ ಆಲಯಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರ ವಾಗಿಯೂ ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಒಳ್ಳೇದನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿ ದ್ದದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣ ದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು.

17 Now after the death of Jehoiada, the chiefs of Judah came and went down on their faces before the king. Then the king gave ear to them.ಆದರೆ ಯೆಹೋಯಾದನು ಸತ್ತತರುವಾಯ ಯೆಹೂದದ ಪ್ರಧಾನರು ಬಂದು ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಅಡ್ಡ ಬಿದ್ದರು. ಆಗ ಅರಸನು ಅವರ ಮಾತನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿದನು.

18 And they gave up the house of the Lord God of their fathers, and became worshippers of pillars of wood and of the images; and because of this sin of theirs, wrath came on Judah and Jerusalem.ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ತೋಪುಗಳನ್ನೂ ವಿಗ್ರಹಗಳನ್ನೂ ಸೇವಿಸಿದರು. ಆದಕಾರಣ ಅವರ ಈ ಅಪರಾಧದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತ ಯೆಹೂದ ಮತ್ತು ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ರೌದ್ರ ಬಂತು.

19 And the Lord sent them prophets to make them come back to him; and they gave witness against them, but they would not give ear.ಆದಾಗ್ಯೂ ಕರ್ತನು ತನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಅವರನ್ನು ತಿರುಗಿಸುವದಕ್ಕೆ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಗಳನ್ನು ಅವರ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದನು; ಇವರು ಅವರಿಗೆ ಸಾಕ್ಷಿಯಾಗಿ ಹೇಳಿದರು; ಆದರೆ ಅವರು ಕಿವಿಗೊಡದೆ ಹೋದರು.

20 Then the spirit of God came on Zechariah, the son of Jehoiada the priest, and, getting up before the people, he said to them, God has said, Why do you go against the orders of the Lord, so that everything goes badly for you? because you have given up the Lord, he has given you up.ಆಗ ದೇವರ ಆತ್ಮನು ಯಾಜಕನಾಗಿ ರುವ ಯೆಹೋಯಾದನ ಮಗನಾದ ಜೆಕರ್ಯನ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದನು. ಅವನು ಜನರೊಳಗೆ ಎತ್ತರವಾದ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತು ಅವರಿಗೆ--ನೀವು ವೃದ್ಧಿಹೊಂದ ಕೂಡದ ಹಾಗೆ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ವಿಾರುವದೇನು? ನೀವು ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಆತನು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.

21 But when they had made a secret design against him, he was stoned with stones, by the king's order, in the outer square of the Lord's house.ಆದದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ಕರ್ತನ ಆಲಯದ ಅಂಗಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಸನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯಂತೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಲೆಸೆದು ಕೊಂದರು.

22 So King Joash did not keep in mind how good Jehoiada his father had been to him, but put his son to death. And in the hour of his death he said, May the Lord see it and take payment!ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಇವನ ತಂದೆಯಾದ ಯೆಹೋಯಾದನು ತನಗೆ ತೋರಿಸಿದ ಕೃಪೆಯನ್ನು ಜ್ಞಾಪಕಮಾಡದೆ ಅರಸನಾದ ಯೆಹೋವಾಷನು ಅವನ ಮಗನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದನು. ಇವನು ಸಾಯುವಾಗ--ಕರ್ತನು ನೋಡಿ ವಿಚಾರಿಸಲಿ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದನು.

23 Now in the spring, the army of the Aramaeans came up against him; they came against Judah and Jerusalem, putting to death all the great men of the people and sending all the goods they took from them to the king of Damascus.ವರುಷಾಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಏನಾಯಿತಂದರೆ, ಅರಾಮಿನ ಸೈನ್ಯದವರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಹೊರಟು ಯೆಹೂದಕ್ಕೂ ಯೆರೂಸಲೇಮಿಗೂ ಬಂದು ಜನರ ಪ್ರಧಾನರನ್ನು ಅವರೊಳಗಿಂದ ನಾಶಮಾಡಿ ಅವರಿಂದ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಂಡ ಕೊಳ್ಳೆಯನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ದಮಸ್ಕದ ಅರಸನಿಗೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಿದರು.

24 For though the army of Aram was only a small one, the Lord gave a very great army into their hands, because they had given up the Lord, the God of their fathers. So they put into effect the punishment of Joash.ಅವರು ತಮ್ಮ ಪಿತೃಗಳ ದೇವರಾದ ಕರ್ತನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರು ಅಲ್ಪಜನವಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯದ ಸಂಗಡ ಬಂದಾಗ ಕರ್ತನು ಬಹು ಅಧಿಕ ವಾದ ಸೈನ್ಯವನ್ನು ಅವರ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದನು. ಹೀಗೆ ಅವರು ಯೆಹೋವಾಷನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ನ್ಯಾಯ ತೀರ್ವಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ಅವನು ಕಠಿಣ ರೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿದ್ದಿರುವಾಗ ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟುಹೋದರು.

25 And when they had gone away from him, (for he was broken with disease,) his servants made a secret design against him because of the blood of the son of Jehoiada the priest, and they put him to death on his bed; and they put his body into the earth in the town of David, but not in the resting-place of the kings.ಅವರು ಅವನನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟತರುವಾಯ ಯಾಜಕನಾದ ಯೆಹೋ ಯಾದನ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ರಕ್ತಾಪರಾಧದ ನಿಮಿತ್ತವಾಗಿ ಅವನ ಸ್ವಂತ ಸೇವಕರು ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ಅವನು ಸಾಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಅವನ ಮಂಚದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದರು. ಅವರು ಅವ ನನ್ನು ದಾವೀದನ ಪಟ್ಟಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಣಿಟ್ಟರು; ಆದರೆ ಅರಸುಗಳ ಸಮಾಧಿಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅವನನ್ನು ಹೂಣಿ ಡಲಿಲ್ಲ.

26 Those who made designs against him were Zabad, the son of Shimeath, an Ammonite woman, and Jehozabad, the son of Shimrith, a Moabite woman.ಅವನಿಗೆ ವಿರೋಧವಾಗಿ ಒಳಸಂಚು ಮಾಡಿ ದವರಾರಂದರೆ, ಅಮ್ಮೋನ್ಯಳಾಗಿರುವ ಶಿಮ್ಗಾಳ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಜಾಬಾದನು, ಮೋವಾಬ್ಯಳಾಗಿರುವ ಶಿವ್ರೆಾ ತಳ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೆಹೋಜಾಬಾದನು.

27 Now the story of his sons, and all the words said by the prophet against him, and the building up again of the Lord's house, are recorded in the account in the book of the kings. And Amaziah his son became king in his place.ಆದರೆ ಅವನ ಕುಮಾರರನ್ನು ಕುರಿತೂ ಅವನ ಮೇಲೆ ಹಾಕಿದ ಭಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಕುರಿತೂ ದೇವರ ಆಲಯ ದುರಸ್ತು ಮಾಡುವದನ್ನು ಕುರಿತೂ ಇಗೋ, ಅವು ಅರಸುಗಳ ಚರಿತ್ರೆಯ ಪುಸ್ತಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೆಯಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿವೆ. ಅವನ ಮಗ ನಾದ ಅಮಚ್ಯನು ಅವನಿಗೆ ಬದಲಾಗಿ ಆಳಿದನು.
