ಆಗ ಇಗೋ, ಒಬ್ಬ ಪ್ರವಾದಿಯು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇ ಲಿನ ಅರಸನಾದ ಅಹಾಬನ ಬಳಿಗೆ ಬಂದು--ಈ ದೊಡ್ಡ ಗುಂಪನ್ನು ನೋಡಿದಿಯೋ? ಇಗೋ, ನಾನೇ ಕರ್ತನೆಂದು ನೀನು ತಿಳಿಯುವ ಹಾಗೆ ಈ ಹೊತ್ತು ಅದನ್ನು ನಿನ್ನ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿಕೊಡುವೆನೆಂದು ಕರ್ತನು ಹೇಳುತ್ತಾನೆ ಅಂದನು.

ತರುವಾಯ ಅರಾಮ್ಯರ ಅರಸನು ಇಸ್ರಾಯೇಲಿನ ಮೇಲೆ ಯುದ್ಧಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದನು; ಇಂಥಿಂಥ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ತನ್ನ ದಂಡು ಇಳಿಯಬೇಕೆಂದು ತನ್ನ ಸೇವಕರ ಸಂಗಡ ಯೋಚನೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡನು.

2 ಅರಸುಗಳು 7:1
ಆಗ ಎಲೀಷನು--ನೀವು ಕರ್ತನ ವಾಕ್ಯವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ; ಕರ್ತನು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳು ತ್ತಾನೆ -- ನಾಳೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಕಡಿಮೆ ಇಷ್ಟು ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಸಮಾರ್ಯದ ಬಾಗಲಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಸೇರು ನಯವಾದ ಹಿಟ್ಟು ಒಂದು ಶೇಕೆಲಿಗೂ ಎರಡು ಸೇರು ಜವೆ ಗೋದಿಯು ಒಂದು ಶೇಕೆಲಿಗೂ ಮಾರಲ್ಪಡುವವು ಅಂದನು.

ಆದರೆ ಕರ್ತನು ಅಬ್ರಹಾಮನ ಇಸಾಕನ ಯಾಕೋಬನ ಸಂಗಡ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿದ್ದರಿಂದ ಅವರಿಗೆ ದಯಮಾಡಿ ಅವರ ಮೇಲೆ ಕೃಪೆ ತೋರಿಸಿ ಅವರ ಕಡೆಗೆ ತಿರುಗಿದನು. ಇನ್ನೂ ಅವರನ್ನು ನಾಶ ಮಾಡಲು ಅವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನಿಂದ ತೊರೆದು ಬಿಡಲು ಮನಸ್ಸಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ, ಅವರನ್ನು ತನ್ನ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಿಂದ ಹೊರಡಿಸಲೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.

ಕೀರ್ತನೆಗಳು 83:18
ನೀನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಯೆಹೋವ ನೆಂಬ ಹೆಸರುಳ್ಳ ನೀನು ಸಮಸ್ತ ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಮಹೋನ್ನತನಾಗಿದ್ದೀ ಎಂದು ತಿಳುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿ.
