1 John 3 - DBY (Kannada)

1 See what love the Father has given to us, that we should be called [the] children of God. For this reason the world knows us not, because it knew him not.ಇಗೋ, ನಾವು ದೇವರ ಪುತ್ರರೆಂದು ಕರೆಯಲ್ಪಡುವದರಲ್ಲಿ ತಂದೆಯು ಎಂಥಾ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಮೇಲೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾನಲ್ಲಾ; ಈ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಲೋಕವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದುಕೊಳ್ಳು ವದಿಲ್ಲ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಅದು ಆತನನ್ನು ತಿಳಿದು ಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿಲ್ಲ.

2 Beloved, now are we children of God, and what we shall be has not yet been manifested; we know that if it is manifested we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is.ಪ್ರಿಯರೇ, ನಾವು ಈಗ ದೇವರ ಪುತ್ರರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ, ಮುಂದೆ ನಾವು ಏನಾಗುವೆವೋ ಅದು ಇನ್ನೂ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷವಾಗಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆತನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷ ನಾದಾಗ ನಾವು ಆತನ ಹಾಗಿರುವೆವೆಂದು ಬಲ್ಲೆವು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾವು ಆತನನ್ನು ಆತನಿರುವ ಪ್ರಕಾರವೇ ನೋಡುವೆವು.

3 And every one that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as *he* is pure.ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆಯನ್ನು ಇಟ್ಟಿರುವ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಬ್ಬನು ಆತನು ಶುದ್ಧನಾಗಿರುವಂತೆಯೇ ತನ್ನನ್ನು ಶುದ್ಧಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ.

4 Every one that practises sin practises also lawlessness; and sin is lawlessness.ಪಾಪಮಾಡುವವನು ನ್ಯಾಯಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ವಿಾರುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಮಾಣವನ್ನು ವಿಾರುವದೇ ಪಾಪ.

5 And ye know that *he* has been manifested that he might take away our sins; and in him sin is not.ಪಾಪಗಳನ್ನು ನಿವಾರಣೆ ಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಆತನು ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾದ ನೆಂಬದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಿದೆ; ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಪವಿಲ್ಲ.

6 Whoever abides in him, does not sin: whoever sins, has not seen him or known him.ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರುವವನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡನು; ಪಾಪಮಾಡುವವನು ಆತನನ್ನು ಕಂಡವನೂ ಅಲ್ಲ, ತಿಳಿದವನೂ ಅಲ್ಲ.

7 Children, let no man lead you astray; he that practises righteousness is righteous, even as *he* is righteous.ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ಯಾರೂ ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಮೋಸಗೊಳಿಸದಿರಲಿ. ಆತನು ಹೇಗೆ ನೀತಿವಂತ ನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೋ ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನನುಸರಿಸುವವನು ನೀತಿವಂತನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

8 He that practises sin is of the devil; for from [the] beginning the devil sins. To this end the Son of God has been manifested, that he might undo the works of the devil.ಪಾಪಮಾಡುವವನು ಸೈತಾನ ನಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆದಿ ಯಿಂದಲೂ ಸೈತಾನನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡುವವನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಆದದರಿಂದ ದೇವಕುಮಾರನು ಸೈತಾನನ ಕೆಲಸಗಳನ್ನು ಲಯಮಾಡುವದಕ್ಕೋಸ್ಕರವೇ ಪ್ರತ್ಯಕ್ಷನಾದನು.

9 Whoever has been begotten of God does not practise sin, because his seed abides in him, and he cannot sin, because he has been begotten of God.ದೇವರಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದವನು ಪಾಪಮಾಡನು; ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ಆತನ ಬೀಜವು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡದೆ. ಅವನು ದೇವರಿಂದ ಹುಟ್ಟಿದ ಕಾರಣ ಪಾಪಮಾಡ ಲಾರನು.

10 In this are manifest the children of God and the children of the devil. Whoever does not practise righteousness is not of God, and he who does not love his brother.ಇವರು ದೇವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಂಬದೂ ಅವರು ಸೈತಾನನ ಮಕ್ಕಳೆಂಬದೂ ಇದರಿಂದ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗುತ್ತದೆ. ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸದವನೂ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸದವನೂ ದೇವರಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟವನಲ್ಲ.

11 For this is the message which ye have heard from the beginning, that we should love one another:ನಾವು ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬದೇ ನೀವು ಮೊದಲಿನಿಂದಲೂ ಕೇಳಿದ ವಾರ್ತೆಯಾಗಿದೆ.

12 not as Cain was of the wicked one, and slew his brother; and on account of what slew he him? because his works were wicked, and those of his brother righteous.ಕೆಡುಕ ನಾಗಿದ್ದು ತನ್ನ ತಮ್ಮನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದುಹಾಕಿದ ಕಾಯಿನ ನಂತೆ ಅಲ್ಲ. ಯಾವ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದ ಅವನನ್ನು ಕೊಂದು ಹಾಕಿದನು? ತನ್ನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳು ಕೆಟ್ಟವುಗಳೂ ತನ್ನ ತಮ್ಮನ ಕೃತ್ಯಗಳು ನೀತಿಯುಳ್ಳವುಗಳೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದದರಿಂದಲೇ.

13 Do not wonder, brethren, if the world hate you.ನನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರರೇ, ಲೋಕವು ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸಿದರೆ ಆಶ್ಚರ್ಯಪಡಬೇಡಿರಿ.

14 *We* know that we have passed from death to life, because we love the brethren. He who does not love [his] brother abides in death.ನಾವಂತೂ ಸಹೋದರರನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವರಾಗಿರುವದರಿಂದ ಮರಣದಿಂದ ಪಾರಾಗಿ ಜೀವದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೇರಿದ್ದೇವೆಂಬದು ನಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಿದೆ. ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸದೆ ಇರುವವನು ಮರಣದಲ್ಲೇ ಇದ್ದಾನೆ.

15 Every one that hates his brother is a murderer, and ye know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.ಯಾರಾದರೂ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸುವ ವನು ಕೊಲೆಗಾರನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ. ಯಾವ ಕೊಲೆಗಾರ ನಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ನಿತ್ಯಜೀವವು ಇರುವದಿಲ್ಲವೆಂಬದು ನಿಮಗೆ ಗೊತ್ತಾಗಿದೆ.

16 Hereby we have known love, because *he* has laid down his life for us; and *we* ought for the brethren to lay down [our] lives.ಆತನು ನಮಗೋಸ್ಕರ ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾಣವನ್ನು ಕೊಟ್ಟದ್ದರಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿ ಇಂಥದ್ದೆಂದು ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿದು ಬಂದಿದೆ. ನಾವು ಸಹ ಸಹೋದರರಿಗೋಸ್ಕರ ನಮ್ಮ ಪ್ರಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಕೊಡುವ ಹಂಗಿನಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

17 But whoso may have the world's substance, and see his brother having need, and shut up his bowels from him, how abides the love of God in him?ಆದರೆ ಈ ಲೋಕದ ಸಂಪತ್ತುಳ್ಳ ಯಾವನಾದರೂ ಕೊರತೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತನ್ನ ಸಹೋದರನನ್ನು ನೋಡಿ ಕರುಣಿಸದೆ ಬಿಟ್ಟರೆ ದೇವರ ಪ್ರೀತಿಯು ಅವನಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿರುವದು ಹೇಗೆ?

18 Children, let us not love with word, nor with tongue, but in deed and in truth.ನನ್ನ ಚಿಕ್ಕ ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ನೀವು ಮಾತಿನಿಂದಾಗಲಿ ನಾಲಿಗೆಯಿಂದಾಗಲಿ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವರಾಗಿರದೆ ಕ್ರಿಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸತ್ಯದ ಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವರಾಗಿರಬೇಕು.

19 And hereby we shall know that we are of the truth, and shall persuade our hearts before him --ಸತ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟವರೆಂಬದು ಇದರಿಂದಲೇ ನಮಗೆ ತಿಳಿಯುತ್ತದೆ; ಆತನ ಸಮಕ್ಷಮದಲ್ಲಿ ನಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಗಳನ್ನು ನಿಶ್ಚಯಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ.

20 that if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart and knows all things.ನಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ದೇವರು ನಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯಕ್ಕಿಂತ ದೊಡ್ಡವನಾಗಿದ್ದು ಎಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ಬಲ್ಲವ ನಾಗಿದ್ದಾನೆ.

21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, we have boldness towards God,ಪ್ರಿಯರೇ, ನಮ್ಮ ಹೃದಯವು ನಮ್ಮನ್ನು ಖಂಡಿಸದಿದ್ದರೆ ನಮಗೆ ದೇವರ ವಿಷಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಭರವಸ ವುಂಟು.

22 and whatsoever we ask we receive from him, because we keep his commandments, and practise the things which are pleasing in his sight.ನಾವು ಏನೇನು ಬೇಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೋ ಆತನಿಂದ ನಾವು ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಯಾಕಂದರೆ ನಾವು ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ಆತನ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೆಚ್ಚಿಕೆಯಾದವುಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡುವವರಾಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ.

23 And this is his commandment, that we believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and that we love one another, even as he has given us commandment.ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆ ಯಾವದೆಂದರೆ ನಾವು ಆತನ ಮಗನಾದ ಯೇಸು ಕ್ರಿಸ್ತನ ಹೆಸರನ್ನು ನಂಬಿ ಆತನು ನಮಗೆ ಆಜ್ಞೆಕೊಟ್ಟ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಒಬ್ಬರನ್ನೊಬ್ಬರು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸಬೇಕೆಂಬದೇ.

24 And he that keeps his commandments abides in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit which he has given to us.ಆತನ ಆಜ್ಞೆಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಕೊಂಡು ನಡೆಯುವವನು ಆತನಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಸಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೆ. ಆತನು ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ನೆಲೆಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾನೆಂದು ಆತನು ನಮಗೆ ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ ಆತ್ಮನಿಂದಲೇ ನಾವು ಬಲ್ಲೆವು.
