சிமியோன் புத்திரருடைய சுதந்தரம் யூதா புத்திரரின் பங்குவீதத்திற்குள் இருக்கிறது; யூதா புத்திரரின் பங்கு அவர்களுக்கு மிச்சமாயிருந்தபடியால், சிமியோன் புத்திரர் அவர்கள் சுதந்தரத்தின் நடுவிலே சுதந்தரம் பெற்றார்கள்.

அதைக் கேட்டு வாங்குகிறதற்கு இனத்தான் ஒருவனும் இல்லாமலிருந்தால், அப்பொழுது அவனுக்காகப் பாவநிவிர்த்தி செய்யும்படி ஆட்டுக்கடா செலுத்தப்படுவதுமல்லாமல், கர்த்தருக்கு அந்த அபராதம் செலுத்தப்பட்டு, அது ஆசாரியனைச் சேரவேண்டும்.

பாதிக்கப்பட்டவன் ஒருவேளை மரித்து போயிருந்தாலோ, அத்தொகையை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ள அவனுக்கு நெருங்கிய உறவினர்கள் யாரும் இல்லாமலிருந்தாலோ, அவன் அத்தொகையை கர்த்தருக்குச் செலுத்த வேண்டும். அவன் அம்முழுத்தொகையையும் ஆசாரியனிடம் கொடுக்க வேண்டும். அந்த ஆசாரியன் அவனது பாவநிவிர்த்திக்காக ஆட்டுக் காடாவை பலியாகச் செலுத்த வேண்டும். அதனைப் பலியிடுவதன் மூலம் ஜனங்கள் செய்த பாவமானது நிவிர்த்தி செய்யப்படுகிறது. மீதி பணத்தை, ஆசாரியன் வைத்துக்கொள்ள வேண்டும்.
