பாபிலோன் ராஜாவாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சாரைச் சேவிக்கும்படிக்கு இருப்பு நுகத்தை இந்த எல்லா ஜாதிகளுடைய கழுத்தின்மேலும் போட்டேன்; அவர்கள் அவனைச் சேவிப்பார்கள். வெளியின் மிருகஜீவன்களையும் அவனுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தேன் என்று இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் உரைக்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

பாபிலோன் ராஜாவாகிய நேபுகாத்நேச்சாரைப் பணியும்படிக்கு இரும்பு நுகத்தை இந்த எல்லா தேசத்து மக்களுடைய கழுத்தின்மேலும் போட்டேன்; அவர்கள் அவனைச் சேவிப்பார்கள். வெளியின் மிருகஜீவன்களையும் அவனுக்கு ஒப்புக்கொடுத்தேன் என்று இஸ்ரவேலின் தேவனாகிய சேனைகளின் கர்த்தர் சொல்கிறார் என்று சொல் என்றார்.

சர்வ வல்லமையுள்ள இஸ்ரவேலரின் தேவனாகிய கர்த்தர் கூறுகிறார்: ‘இந்த அனைத்து நாடுகளின் கழுத்துகளிலும் இரும்பு நுகத்தைப் பூட்டுவேன். அவர்கள் அனைவரும் பாபிலோனின் அரசனான நேபுகாத்நேச்சருக்கு சேவை செய்யும்படிச் செய்வேன். அவர்கள் அவனுக்கு அடிமைகளாக இருப்பார்கள். நேபுகாத்நேச்சருக்குக் காட்டு மிருகங்களையும் கட்டுப்படுத்தும் அதிகாரத்தைக் கொடுப்பேன்.’”
