அவர்கள் தங்கள் கால்களை அடக்கிக்கொள்ளாமல், அலைய விரும்புகிறார்களென்று கர்த்தர் இந்த ஜனத்தைக்குறித்துச் சொல்லுகிறார், ஆகையால், கர்த்தர் அவர்கள்மேல் பிரியமாயிராமல், இப்பொழுது அவர்கள் அக்கிரமத்தை நினைத்து, அவர்கள் பாவங்களை விசாரிப்பார்.

யூதாவின் ஜனங்களைப்பற்றி கர்த்தர் சொன்னது இதுதான்: “யூதாவின் ஜனங்கள் உண்மையில் என்னை விட்டுவிலக விரும்பினார்கள். அந்த ஜனங்கள் என்னை விட்டு விலகுவதை நிறுத்திக்கொள்ளவில்லை. எனவே, இப்பொழுது, கர்த்தர் அவர்களை ஏற்றுக்கொள்ளமாட்டார். இப்போது அவர்கள் செய்த தீயச் செயல்களை கர்த்தர் நினைப்பார். அவர்களது பாவங்களுக்காகக் கர்த்தர் அவர்களைத் தண்டிப்பார்.”

Avarkal thangal kaalkalai adakkikkollaamal, alaiya virumpukiraarkalentu Karththar intha janaththaikkuriththuch sollukiraar, aakaiyaal, Karththar avarkalmael piriyamaayiraamal, ippoluthu avarkal akkiramaththai ninaiththu, avarkal paavangalai visaarippaar.

Thus saith the LORD unto this people, Thus have they loved to wander, they have not refrained their feet, therefore the LORD doth not accept them; he will now remember their iniquity, and visit their sins.

Thus saith Jehovah unto this people, Even so have they loved to wander; they have not refrained their feet: therefore Jehovah doth not accept them; now will he remember their iniquity, and visit their sins.
