யூதாவே, உன் பட்டணங்களின் இலக்கமும் உன் தேவர்களின் இலக்கமும் சரி; எருசலேமுடைய வீதிகளின் இலக்கமும், நீங்கள் பாகாலுக்குத் தூபங்காட்டும்படி அந்த இலச்சையான காரியத்துக்கு ஸ்தாபித்த பீடங்களின் இலக்கமும் சரி.

“யூதாவின் ஜனங்களே! உங்களிடம் ஏராளமான விக்கிரகங்கள் உள்ளன, யூதாவில் உள்ள நகரங்களைப் போன்றே, உங்களிடம் பல விக்கிரகங்கள் உள்ளன. பொய்யான பாகால் தெய்வத்திற்கு நீங்கள் பல பலிபீடங்களை தொழுதுகொள்வதற்காகக் கட்டியிருக்கிறீர்கள். அவை எருசலேமிலுள்ள, தெருக்களின்எண்ணிக்கைபோன்று, அதிக எண்ணிக்கையாக உள்ளன என்று சொல்லுகிறார்.

Yoothaavae, un pattanangalin ilakkamum un thaevarkalin ilakkamum sari; erusalaemutaiya veethikalin ilakkamum, neengal paakaalukkuth thoopangaattumpati antha ilachchaைyaana kaariyaththukku sthaapiththa peedangalin ilakkamum sari.
