Romans 7
14 क्योंकि हम जानते हैं कि व्यवस्था तो आत्मिक है, परन्तु मैं शरीरिक और पाप के हाथ बिका हुआ हूं।
15 और जो मैं करता हूं, उस को नहीं जानता, क्योंकि जो मैं चाहता हूं, वह नहीं किया करता, परन्तु जिस से मुझे घृणा आती है, वही करता हूं।
16 और यदि, जो मैं नहीं चाहता वही करता हूं, तो मैं मान लेता हूं, कि व्यवस्था भली है।
17 तो ऐसी दशा में उसका करने वाला मैं नहीं, वरन पाप है, जो मुझ में बसा हुआ है।
18 क्योंकि मैं जानता हूं, कि मुझ में अर्थात मेरे शरीर में कोई अच्छी वस्तु वास नहीं करती, इच्छा तो मुझ में है, परन्तु भले काम मुझ से बन नहीं पड़ते।
19 क्योंकि जिस अच्छे काम की मैं इच्छा करता हूं, वह तो नहीं करता, परन्तु जिस बुराई की इच्छा नहीं करता वही किया करता हूं।
20 परन्तु यदि मैं वही करता हूं, जिस की इच्छा नहीं करता, तो उसका करने वाला मैं न रहा, परन्तु पाप जो मुझ में बसा हुआ है।
21 सो मैं यह व्यवस्था पाता हूं, कि जब भलाई करने की इच्छा करता हूं, तो बुराई मेरे पास आती है।
22 क्योंकि मैं भीतरी मनुष्यत्व से तो परमेश्वर की व्यवस्था से बहुत प्रसन्न रहता हूं।
23 परन्तु मुझे अपने अंगो में दूसरे प्रकार की व्यवस्था दिखाई पड़ती है, जो मेरी बुद्धि की व्यवस्था से लड़ती है, और मुझे पाप की व्यवस्था के बन्धन में डालती है जो मेरे अंगों में है।
24 मैं कैसा अभागा मनुष्य हूं! मुझे इस मृत्यु की देह से कौन छुड़ाएगा?
14 For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15 For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16 If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24 O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?

14 क्योंकि हम जानते हैं कि व्यवस्था तो आत्मिक है, परन्तु मैं शरीरिक और पाप के हाथ बिका हुआ हूं।
For we know that the law is spiritual: but I am carnal, sold under sin.
15 और जो मैं करता हूं, उस को नहीं जानता, क्योंकि जो मैं चाहता हूं, वह नहीं किया करता, परन्तु जिस से मुझे घृणा आती है, वही करता हूं।
For that which I do I allow not: for what I would, that do I not; but what I hate, that do I.
16 और यदि, जो मैं नहीं चाहता वही करता हूं, तो मैं मान लेता हूं, कि व्यवस्था भली है।
If then I do that which I would not, I consent unto the law that it is good.
17 तो ऐसी दशा में उसका करने वाला मैं नहीं, वरन पाप है, जो मुझ में बसा हुआ है।
Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
18 क्योंकि मैं जानता हूं, कि मुझ में अर्थात मेरे शरीर में कोई अच्छी वस्तु वास नहीं करती, इच्छा तो मुझ में है, परन्तु भले काम मुझ से बन नहीं पड़ते।
For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
19 क्योंकि जिस अच्छे काम की मैं इच्छा करता हूं, वह तो नहीं करता, परन्तु जिस बुराई की इच्छा नहीं करता वही किया करता हूं।
For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
20 परन्तु यदि मैं वही करता हूं, जिस की इच्छा नहीं करता, तो उसका करने वाला मैं न रहा, परन्तु पाप जो मुझ में बसा हुआ है।
Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
21 सो मैं यह व्यवस्था पाता हूं, कि जब भलाई करने की इच्छा करता हूं, तो बुराई मेरे पास आती है।
I find then a law, that, when I would do good, evil is present with me.
22 क्योंकि मैं भीतरी मनुष्यत्व से तो परमेश्वर की व्यवस्था से बहुत प्रसन्न रहता हूं।
For I delight in the law of God after the inward man:
23 परन्तु मुझे अपने अंगो में दूसरे प्रकार की व्यवस्था दिखाई पड़ती है, जो मेरी बुद्धि की व्यवस्था से लड़ती है, और मुझे पाप की व्यवस्था के बन्धन में डालती है जो मेरे अंगों में है।
But I see another law in my members, warring against the law of my mind, and bringing me into captivity to the law of sin which is in my members.
24 मैं कैसा अभागा मनुष्य हूं! मुझे इस मृत्यु की देह से कौन छुड़ाएगा?
O wretched man that I am! who shall deliver me from the body of this death?
