1 > In my distress, I cried to Yahweh. He answered me.संकट के समय मैं ने यहोवा को पुकारा, और उसने मेरी सुन ली।

2 Deliver my soul, Yahweh, from lying lips, From a deceitful tongue.हे यहोवा, झूठ बोलने वाले मुंह से और छली जीभ से मेरी रक्षा कर॥

3 What will be given to you, and what will be done more to you, You deceitful tongue?हे छली जीभ, तुझ को क्या मिले? और तेरे साथ और क्या अधिक किया जाए?

4 Sharp arrows of the mighty, With coals of juniper.वीर के नोकीले तीर और झाऊ के अंगारे!

5 Woe is me, that I live in Meshech, That I dwell among the tents of Kedar!हाय, हाय, क्योंकि मुझे मेशेक में परदेशी होकर रहना पड़ा और केदार के तम्बुओं में बसना पड़ा है!

6 My soul has had her dwelling too long With him who hates peace.बहुत काल से मुझ को मेल के बैरियों के साथ बसना पड़ा है।

7 I am for peace, But when I speak, they are for war.मैं तो मेल चाहता हूं; परन्तु मेरे बोलते ही, वे लड़ना चाहते हैं!
