Proverbs 30 - KJV (Hindi)

1 The words of Agur the son of Jakeh, even the prophecy: the man spake unto Ithiel, even unto Ithiel and Ucal,याके के पुत्र आगूर के प्रभावशाली वचन॥ उस पुरूष ने ईतीएल और उक्काल से यह कहा,

2 Surely I am more brutish than any man, and have not the understanding of a man.निश्चय मैं पशु सरीखा हूं, वरन मनुष्य कहलाने के योग्य भी नहीं; और मनुष्य की समझ मुझ में नहीं है।

3 I neither learned wisdom, nor have the knowledge of the holy.न मैं ने बुद्धि प्राप्त की है, और न परमपवित्र का ज्ञान मुझे मिला है।

4 Who hath ascended up into heaven, or descended? who hath gathered the wind in his fists? who hath bound the waters in a garment? who hath established all the ends of the earth? what is his name, and what is his son's name, if thou canst tell?कौन स्वर्ग में चढ़ कर फिर उतर आया? किस ने वायु को अपनी मुट्ठी में बटोर रखा है? किस ने महासागर को अपने वस्त्र में बान्ध लिया है? किस ने पृथ्वी के सिवानों को ठहराया है? उसका नाम क्या है? और उसके पुत्र का नाम क्या है? यदि तू जानता हो तो बता!

5 Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.ईश्वर का एक एक वचन ताया हुआ है; वह अपने शरणागतों की ढाल ठहरा है।

6 Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar.उसके वचनों में कुछ मत बढ़ा, ऐसा न हो कि वह तुझे डांटे और तू झूठा ठहरे॥

7 Two things have I required of thee; deny me them not before I die:मैं ने तुझ से दो वर मांगे हैं, इसलिये मेरे मरने से पहिले उन्हें मुझे देने से मुंह न मोड़:

8 Remove far from me vanity and lies: give me neither poverty nor riches; feed me with food convenient for me:अर्थात व्यर्थ और झूठी बात मुझ से दूर रख; मुझे न तो निर्धन कर और न धनी बना; प्रतिदिन की रोटी मुझे खिलाया कर।

9 Lest I be full, and deny thee, and say, Who is the LORD? or lest I be poor, and steal, and take the name of my God in vain.ऐसा न हो, कि जब मेरा पेट भर जाए, तब मैं इन्कार कर के कहूं कि यहोवा कौन है? वा अपना भाग खो कर चोरी करूं, और अपने परमेश्वर का नाम अनुचित रीति से लूं।

10 Accuse not a servant unto his master, lest he curse thee, and thou be found guilty.किसी दास की, उसके स्वामी से चुगली न करना, ऐसा न हो कि वह तुझे शाप दे, और तू दोषी ठहराया जाए॥

11 There is a generation that curseth their father, and doth not bless their mother.ऐसे लोग हैं, जो अपने पिता को शाप देते और अपनी माता को धन्य नहीं कहते।

12 There is a generation that are pure in their own eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness.ऐसे लोग हैं जो अपनी दृष्टि में शुद्ध हैं, तौभी उनका मैल धोया नहीं गया।

13 There is a generation, O how lofty are their eyes! and their eyelids are lifted up.एक पीढ़ी के लोग ऐसे हैं उनकी दृष्टि क्या ही घमण्ड से भरी रहती है, और उनकी आंखें कैसी चढ़ी हुई रहती हैं।

14 There is a generation, whose teeth are as swords, and their jaw teeth as knives, to devour the poor from off the earth, and the needy from among men.एक पीढ़ी के लोग ऐसे हैं, जिनके दांत तलवार और उनकी दाढ़ें छुरियां हैं, जिन से वे दीन लोगों को पृथ्वी पर से, और दरिद्रों को मनुष्यों में से मिटा डालें॥

15 The horseleach hath two daughters, crying, Give, give. There are three things that are never satisfied, yea, four things say not, It is enough:जैसे जोंक की दो बेटियां होती हैं, जो कहती हैं दे, दे, वैसे ही तीन वस्तुएं हैं, जो तृप्त नहीं होतीं; वरन चार हैं, जो कभी नहीं कहतीं, बस।

16 The grave; and the barren womb; the earth that is not filled with water; and the fire that saith not, It is enough.अधोलोक और बांझ की कोख, भूमि जो जल पी पी कर तृप्त नहीं होती, और आग जो कभी नहीं कहती, बस॥

17 The eye that mocketh at his father, and despiseth to obey his mother, the ravens of the valley shall pick it out, and the young eagles shall eat it.जिस आंख से कोई अपने पिता पर अनादर की दृष्टि करे, और अपमान के साथ अपनी माता की आज्ञा न माने, उस आंख को तराई के कौवे खोद खोद कर निकालेंगे, और उकाब के बच्चे खा डालेंगे॥

18 There be three things which are too wonderful for me, yea, four which I know not:तीन बातें मेरे लिये अधिक कठिन है, वरन चार हैं, जो मेरी समझ से परे हैं:

19 The way of an eagle in the air; the way of a serpent upon a rock; the way of a ship in the midst of the sea; and the way of a man with a maid.आकाश में उकाब पक्षी का मार्ग, चट्टान पर सर्प की चाल, समुद्र में जहाज की चाल, और कन्या के संग पुरूष की चाल॥

20 Such is the way of an adulterous woman; she eateth, and wipeth her mouth, and saith, I have done no wickedness.व्यभिचारिणी की चाल भी वैसी ही है; वह भोजन कर के मुंह पोंछती, और कहती है, मैं ने कोई अनर्थ काम नहीं किया॥

21 For three things the earth is disquieted, and for four which it cannot bear:तीन बातों के कारण पृथ्वी कांपती है; वरन चार है, जो उस से सही नहीं जातीं:

22 For a servant when he reigneth; and a fool when he is filled with meat;दास का राजा हो जाना, मूढ़ का पेट भरना

23 For an odious woman when she is married; and an handmaid that is heir to her mistress.घिनौनी स्त्री का ब्याहा जाना, और दासी का अपनी स्वामिन की वारिस होना॥

24 There be four things which are little upon the earth, but they are exceeding wise:पृथ्वी पर चार छोटे जन्तु हैं, जो अत्यन्त बुद्धिमान हैं:

25 The ants are a people not strong, yet they prepare their meat in the summer;च्यूटियां निर्बल जाति तो हैं, परन्तु धूप काल में अपनी भोजन वस्तु बटोरती हैं;

26 The conies are but a feeble folk, yet make they their houses in the rocks;शापान बली जाति नहीं, तौभी उनकी मान्दें पहाड़ों पर होती हैं;

27 The locusts have no king, yet go they forth all of them by bands;टिड्डियों के राजा तो नहीं होता, तौभी वे सब की सब दल बान्ध बान्ध कर पलायन करती हैं;

28 The spider taketh hold with her hands, and is in kings' palaces.और छिपकली हाथ से पकड़ी तो जाती है, तौभी राजभवनों में रहती है॥

29 There be three things which go well, yea, four are comely in going:तीन सुन्दर चलने वाले प्राणी हैं; वरन चार हैं, जिन की चाल सुन्दर है:

30 A lion which is strongest among beasts, and turneth not away for any;सिंह जो सब पशुओं में पराक्रमी हैं, और किसी के डर से नहीं हटता;

31 A greyhound; an he goat also; and a king, against whom there is no rising up.शिकारी कुत्ता और बकरा, और अपनी सेना समेत राजा।

32 If thou hast done foolishly in lifting up thyself, or if thou hast thought evil, lay thine hand upon thy mouth.यदि तू ने अपनी बड़ाई करने की मूढ़ता की, वा कोई बुरी युक्ति बान्धी हो, तो अपने मुंह पर हाथ धर।

33 Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife.क्योंकि जैसे दूध के मथने से मक्खन और नाक के मरोड़ने से लोहू निकलता है, वैसे ही क्रोध के भड़काने से झगड़ा उत्पन्न होता है॥
