Matthew 23 - DBY (Hindi)

1 Then Jesus spoke to the crowds and to his disciples,तब यीशु ने भीड़ से और अपने चेलों से कहा।

2 saying, The scribes and the Pharisees have set themselves down in Moses' seat:शास्त्री और फरीसी मूसा की गद्दी पर बैठे हैं।

3 all things therefore, whatever they may tell you, do and keep. But do not after their works, for they say and do not,इसलिये वे तुम से जो कुछ कहें वह करना, और मानना; परन्तु उन के से काम मत करना; क्योंकि वे कहते तो हैं पर करते नहीं।

4 but bind burdens heavy and hard to bear, and lay them on the shoulders of men, but will not move them with their finger.वे एक ऐसे भारी बोझ को जिन को उठाना कठिन है, बान्धकर उन्हें मनुष्यों के कन्धों पर रखते हैं; परन्तु आप उन्हें अपनी उंगली से भी सरकाना नहीं चाहते।

5 And all their works they do to be seen of men: for they make broad their phylacteries and enlarge the borders [of their garments],वे अपने सब काम लोगों को दिखाने के लिये करते हैं: वे अपने तावीजों को चौड़े करते, और अपने वस्त्रों की को रें बढ़ाते हैं।

6 and love the chief place in feasts and the first seats in the synagogues,जेवनारों में मुख्य मुख्य जगहें, और सभा में मुख्य मुख्य आसन।

7 and salutations in the market-places, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.और बाजारों में नमस्कार और मनुष्य में रब्बी कहलाना उन्हें भाता है।

8 But *ye*, be not ye called Rabbi; for one is your instructor, and all *ye* are brethren.परन्तु, तुम रब्बी न कहलाना; क्योंकि तुम्हारा एक ही गुरू है: और तुम सब भाई हो।

9 And call not [any one] your father upon the earth; for one is your Father, he who is in the heavens.और पृथ्वी पर किसी को अपना पिता न कहना, क्योंकि तुम्हारा एक ही पिता है, जो स्वर्ग में है।

10 Neither be called instructors, for one is your instructor, the Christ.और स्वामी भी न कहलाना, क्योंकि तुम्हारा एक ही स्वामी है, अर्थात मसीह।

11 But the greatest of you shall be your servant.जो तुम में बड़ा हो, वह तुम्हारा सेवक बने।

12 And whoever shall exalt himself shall be humbled, and whoever shall humble himself shall be exalted.जो कोई अपने आप को बड़ा बनाएगा, वह छोटा किया जाएगा: और जो कोई अपने आप को छोटा बनाएगा, वह बड़ा किया जाएगा॥

13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for ye shut up the kingdom of the heavens before men; for *ye* do not enter, nor do ye suffer those that are entering to go in.हे कपटी शास्त्रियों और फरीसियों तुम पर हाय!

15 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for ye compass the sea and the dry [land] to make one proselyte, and when he is become [such], ye make him twofold more [the] son of hell than yourselves.हे कपटी शास्त्रियों और फरीसियों तुम पर हाय! तुम एक जन को अपने मत में लाने के लिये सारे जल और थल में फिरते हो, और जब वह मत में आ जाता है, तो उसे अपने से दूना नारकीय बना देते हो॥

16 Woe to you, blind guides, who say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor.हे अन्धे अगुवों, तुम पर हाय, जो कहते हो कि यदि कोई मन्दिर की शपथ खाए तो कुछ नहीं, परन्तु यदि कोई मन्दिर के सोने की सौगन्ध खाए तो उस से बन्ध जाएगा।

17 Fools and blind, for which is greater, the gold, or the temple which sanctifies the gold?हे मूर्खों, और अन्धों, कौन बड़ा है, सोना या वह मन्दिर जिस से सोना पवित्र होता है?

18 And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gift that is upon it is a debtor.फिर कहते हो कि यदि कोई वेदी की शपथ खाए तो कुछ नहीं, परन्तु जो भेंट उस पर है, यदि कोई उस की शपथ खाए तो बन्ध जाएगा।

19 [Fools and] blind ones, for which is greater, the gift, or the altar which sanctifies the gift?हे अन्धों, कौन बड़ा है, भेंट या वेदी: जिस से भेंट पवित्र होता है?

20 He therefore that swears by the altar swears by it and by all things that are upon it.इसलिये जो वेदी की शपथ खाता है, वह उस की, और जो कुछ उस पर है, उस की भी शपथ खाता है।

21 And he that swears by the temple swears by it and by him that dwells in it.और जो मन्दिर की शपथ खाता है, वह उस की और उस में रहने वालों की भी शपथ खाता है।

22 And he that swears by heaven swears by the throne of God and by him that sits upon it.और जो स्वर्ग की शपथ खाता है, वह परमेश्वर के सिहांसन की और उस पर बैठने वाले की भी शपथ खाता है॥

23 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for ye pay tithes of mint and anise and cummin, and ye have left aside the weightier matters of the law, judgment and mercy and faith: these ye ought to have done and not have left those aside.हे कपटी शास्त्रियों, और फरीसियों, तुम पर हाय; तुम पोदीने और सौंफ और जीरे का दसवां अंश देते हो, परन्तु तुम ने व्यवस्था की गम्भीर बातों को अर्थात न्याय, और दया, और विश्वास को छोड़ दिया है; चाहिये था कि इन्हें भी करते रहते, और उन्हें भी न छोड़ते।

24 Blind guides, who strain out the gnat, but drink down the camel.हे अन्धे अगुवों, तुम मच्छर को तो छान डालते हो, परन्तु ऊंट को निगल जाते हो।

25 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for ye make clean the outside of the cup and of the dish, but within they are full of rapine and intemperance.हे कपटी शास्त्रियों, और फरीसियों, तुम पर हाय, तुम कटोरे और थाली को ऊपर ऊपर से तो मांजते हो परन्तु वे भीतर अन्धेर असंयम से भरे हुए हैं।

26 Blind Pharisee, make clean first the inside of the cup and of the dish, that their outside also may become clean.हे अन्धे फरीसी, पहिले कटोरे और थाली को भीतर से मांज कि वे बाहर से भी स्वच्छ हों॥

27 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for ye are like whited sepulchres, which appear beautiful outwardly, but within are full of dead men's bones and all uncleanness.हे कपटी शास्त्रियों, और फरीसियों, तुम पर हाय; तुम चूना फिरी हुई कब्रों के समान हो जो ऊपर से तो सुन्दर दिखाई देती हैं, परन्तु भीतर मुर्दों की हिड्डयों और सब प्रकार की मलिनता से भरी हैं।

28 Thus also *ye*, outwardly ye appear righteous to men, but within are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.इसी रीति से तुम भी ऊपर से मनुष्यों को धर्मी दिखाई देते हो, परन्तु भीतर कपट और अधर्म से भरे हुए हो॥

29 Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for ye build the sepulchres of the prophets and adorn the tombs of the just,हे कपटी शास्त्रियों, और फरीसियों, तुम पर हाय; तुम भविष्यद्वक्ताओं की कब्रें संवारते और धमिर्यों की कब्रें बनाते हो।

30 and ye say, If we had been in the days of our fathers we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.और कहते हो, कि यदि हम अपने बाप-दादों के दिनों में होते तो भविष्यद्वक्ताओं की हत्या में उन के साझी न होते।

31 So that ye bear witness of yourselves that ye are sons of those who slew the prophets:इस से तो तुम अपने पर आप ही गवाही देते हो, कि तुम भविष्यद्वक्ताओं के घातकों की सन्तान हो।

32 and *ye*, fill ye up the measure of your fathers.सो तुम अपने बाप-दादों के पाप का घड़ा भर दो।

33 Serpents, offspring of vipers, how should ye escape the judgment of hell?हे सांपो, हे करैतों के बच्चों, तुम नरक के दण्ड से क्योंकर बचोगे?

34 Therefore, behold, *I* send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes; and [some] of them ye will kill and crucify, and [some] of them ye will scourge in your synagogues, and will persecute from city to city;इसलिये देखो, मैं तुम्हारे पास भविष्यद्वक्ताओं और बुद्धिमानों और शास्त्रियों को भेजता हूं; और तुम उन में से कितनों को मार डालोगे, और क्रूस पर चढ़ाओगे; और कितनों को अपनी सभाओं में कोड़े मारोगे, और एक नगर से दूसरे नगर में खदेड़ते फिरोगे।

35 so that all righteous blood shed upon the earth should come upon *you*, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.जिस से धर्मी हाबिल से लेकर बिरिक्याह के पुत्र जकरयाह तक, जिसे तुम ने मन्दिर और वेदी के बीच में मार डाला था, जितने धमिर्यों का लोहू पृथ्वी पर बहाया गया है, वह सब तुम्हारे सिर पर पड़ेगा।

36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.मैं तुम से सच कहता हूं, ये सब बातें इस समय के लोगों पर आ पड़ेंगी॥

37 Jerusalem, Jerusalem, [the city] that kills the prophets and stones those that are sent unto her, how often would I have gathered thy children as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!हे यरूशलेम, हे यरूशलेम; तू जो भविष्यद्वक्ताओं को मार डालता है, और जो तेरे पास भेजे गए, उन्हें पत्थरवाह करता है, कितनी ही बार मैं ने चाहा कि जैसे मुर्गी अपने बच्चों को अपने पंखों के नीचे इकट्ठे करती है, वैसे ही मैं भी तेरे बालकों को इकट्ठे कर लूं, परन्तु तुम ने न चाहा।

38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate;देखो, तुम्हारा घर तुम्हारे लिये उजाड़ छोड़ा जाता है।

39 for I say unto you, Ye shall in no wise see me henceforth until ye say, Blessed [be] he that comes in the name of [the] Lord.क्योंकि मैं तुम से कहता हूं, कि अब से जब तक तुम न कहोगे, कि धन्य है वह, जो प्रभु के नाम से आता है, तब तक तुम मुझे फिर कभी न देखोगे॥
