तब जेबह और सल्मुन्ना ने कहा, तू उठ कर हम पर प्रहार कर; क्योंकि जैसा पुरूष हो, वैसा ही उसका पौरूष भी होगा। तब गिदोन ने उठ कर जेबह और सल्मुन्ना को घात किया; और उनके ऊंटों के गलों के चन्द्रहारों को ले लिया॥

said,	וַיֹּ֜אמֶר	ʾāmar	ah-MAHR
Then Zebah	זֶ֣בַח	zebaḥ	zeh-VAHK
and Zalmunna	וְצַלְמֻנָּ֗ע	ṣalmunnāʿ	tsahl-moo-NA
Rise	ק֤וּם	qûm	koom
thou,	אַתָּה֙	ʾattâ	ah-TA
and fall	וּפְגַע	pāgaʿ	pa-ɡA
	בָּ֔נוּ
upon us: for	כִּ֥י	kî	kee
as the man	כָאִ֖ישׁ	ʾîš	eesh
his strength.	גְּבֽוּרָת֑וֹ	gĕbûrâ	ɡeh-voo-RA
arose,	וַיָּ֣קָם	qûm	koom
And Gideon	גִּדְע֗וֹן	gidʿôn	ɡeed-ONE
and slew	וַֽיַּהֲרֹג֙	hārag	ha-RAHɡ
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
Zebah	זֶ֣בַח	zebaḥ	zeh-VAHK
	וְאֶת	ʾēt	ate
and Zalmunna,	צַלְמֻנָּ֔ע	ṣalmunnāʿ	tsahl-moo-NA
and took away	וַיִּקַּח֙	lāqaḥ	la-KAHK
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
the ornaments	הַשַּׂ֣הֲרֹנִ֔ים	śahărōn	sa-huh-RONE
that	אֲשֶׁ֖ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
necks.	בְּצַוְּארֵ֥י	ṣawwār	tsa-WAHR
on their camels'	גְמַלֵּיהֶֽם׃	gāmāl	ɡa-MAHL
