इसके बाद हेबेर की स्त्री याएल ने डेरे की एक खूंटी ली, और अपने हाथ में एक हथौड़ा भी लिया, और दबे पांव उसके पास जा कर खूंटी को उसकी कनपटी में ऐसा ठोक दिया कि खूंटी पार हो कर भूमि में धंस गई; वह तो थका था ही इसलिये गहरी नींद में सो रहा था। सो वह मर गया।

of the tent,	הָאֹ֜הֶל	ʾōhel	oh-HEL
and took	וַתָּ֧שֶׂם	śûm	soom
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
an hammer	הַמַּקֶּ֣בֶת	maqqebet	ma-keh-VET
in her hand,	בְּיָדָ֗הּ	yād	yahd
and went	וַתָּב֤וֹא	bôʾ	boh
unto	אֵלָיו֙	ʾēl	ale
softly	בַּלָּ֔אט	lāṭ	laht
him, and smote	וַתִּתְקַ֤ע	tāqaʿ	ta-KA
	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
the nail	הַיָּתֵד֙	yātēd	ya-TADE
into his temples,	בְּרַקָּת֔וֹ	raqqâ	ra-KA
and fastened	וַתִּצְנַ֖ח	ṣānaḥ	tsa-NAHK
it into the ground:	בָּאָ֑רֶץ	ʾereṣ	eh-RETS
for he	וְהֽוּא	hûʾ	hoo
was fast asleep	נִרְדָּ֥ם	rādam	ra-DAHM
and weary.	וַיָּ֖עַף	ʿûp	oof
So he died.	וַיָּמֹֽת׃	mût	moot
