जब गिबोन के निवासियों ने सुना कि यहोशू ने यरीहो और ऐ से क्या क्या किया है,

And when the inhabitants	וְיֹֽשְׁבֵ֨י	wĕyōšĕbê	veh-yoh-sheh-VAY
of Gibeon	גִבְע֜וֹן	gibʿôn	ɡeev-ONE
heard	שָֽׁמְע֗וּ	šāmĕʿû	sha-meh-OO
	אֵת֩	ʾēt	ate
what	אֲשֶׁ֨ר	ʾăšer	uh-SHER
Joshua	עָשָׂ֧ה	ʿāśâ	ah-SA
had done	יְהוֹשֻׁ֛עַ	yĕhôšuaʿ	yeh-hoh-SHOO-ah
unto Jericho	לִֽירִיח֖וֹ	lîrîḥô	lee-ree-HOH
and to Ai,	וְלָעָֽי׃	wĕlāʿāy	veh-la-AI
