तब मैं ने एक पवित्र जन को बोलते सुना; फिर एक और पवित्र जन ने उस पहिले बोलने वाले अपराध के विषय में जो कुछ दर्शन देखा गया, वह कब तक फलता रहेगा; अर्थात पवित्र स्थान और सेना दोनों को रौंदा जाना कब तक होता रहेगा?

Then I heard	וָאֶשְׁמְעָ֥ה	šāmaʿ	sha-MA
one	אֶֽחָד	ʾeḥād	eh-HAHD
saint	קָד֖וֹשׁ	qādôš	ka-DOHSH
speaking,	מְדַבֵּ֑ר	dābar	da-VAHR
said	וַיֹּאמֶר֩	ʾāmar	ah-MAHR
and another	אֶחָ֨ד	ʾeḥād	eh-HAHD
saint	קָד֜וֹשׁ	qādôš	ka-DOHSH
unto that certain	לַפַּֽלְמוֹנִ֣י	palmônî	pahl-moh-NEE
which spake,	הַֽמְדַבֵּ֗ר	dābar	da-VAHR
How long	עַד	ʿad	ad
	מָתַ֞י	mātay	ma-TAI
the vision	הֶחָז֤וֹן	ḥāzôn	ha-ZONE
the daily	הַתָּמִיד֙	tāmîd	ta-MEED
and the transgression	וְהַפֶּ֣שַׁע	pešaʿ	peh-SHA
of desolation,	שֹׁמֵ֔ם	šāmēm	sha-MAME
to give	תֵּ֛ת	nātan	na-TAHN
both the sanctuary	וְקֹ֥דֶשׁ	qōdeš	koh-DESH
and the host	וְצָבָ֖א	ṣābāʾ	tsa-VA
to be trodden under foot?	מִרְמָֽס׃	mirmās	meer-MAHS
