अब्नेर ने उस से कहा, चाहे दाहिनी, चाहे बाई ओर मुड़, किसी जवान को पकड़कर उसका बकतर ले ले। परन्तु असाहेल ने उसका पीछा न छोड़ा।

to	עַל	ʿal	al
thy right hand	יְמִֽינְךָ֙	yāmîn	ya-MEEN
or	א֣וֹ	ʾô	oh
to	עַל	ʿal	al
thy left,	שְׂמֹאלֶ֔ךָ	śĕmōwl	seh-MOVE-L
and lay thee hold	וֶֽאֱחֹ֣ז	ʾāḥaz	ah-HAHZ
	לְךָ֗
on one	אֶחָד֙	ʾeḥād	eh-HAHD
of the young men,	מֵֽהַנְּעָרִ֔ים	naʿar	na-AR
and take	וְקַח	lāqaḥ	la-KAHK
	לְךָ֖
thee	אֶת	ʾēt	ate
his armour.	חֲלִצָת֑וֹ	ḥălîṣâ	huh-lee-TSA
not	וְלֹֽא	lōʾ	loh
would	אָבָ֣ה	ʾābâ	ah-VA
But Asahel	עֲשָׂהאֵ֔ל	ʿăśohʾēl	uh-soh-ALE
turn aside	לָס֖וּר	sûr	soor
from following of him.	מֵאַֽחֲרָֽיו׃	ʾaḥar	ah-HAHR
