2 Chronicles 14 - WBT (Hindi)

1 So Abijah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his stead. In his days the land was quiet ten years.निदान अबिय्याह अपने पुरखाओं के संग सो गया, और उसको दाऊदपुर में मिट्टी दी गई; और उसका पुत्र आसा उसके स्थान पर राज्य करने लगा। इसके दिनों में दस वर्ष तक देश में चैन रहा।

2 And Asa did that which was good and right in the eyes of the LORD his God:और आसा ने वही किया जो उसके परमेश्वर यहोवा की दृष्टि में अच्छा और ठीक था।

3 For he took away the altars of the strange gods, and the high places, and broke down the images, and cut down the groves:उसने तो पराई वेदियों को और ऊंचे स्थानों को दूर किया, और लाठों को तुड़वा डाला, और अशेरा नाम मूरतों को तोड़ डाला।

4 And commanded Judah to seek the LORD God of their fathers, and to do the law and the commandment.और यहूदियों को आज्ञा दी कि अपने पूर्वजों के परमेश्वर यहोवा की खोज करें और व्यवस्था और आज्ञा को मानों।

5 Also he took away out of all the cities of Judah the high places and the images: and the kingdom was quiet before him.और उसने ऊंचे स्थानों और सूर्य की प्रतिमाओं को यहूदा के सब नगरों में से दूर किया, और उसके साम्हने राज्य में चैन रहा।

6 And he built fortified cities in Judah: for the land had rest, and he had no war in those years; because the LORD had given him rest.और उसने यहूदा में गढ़ वाले नगर बसाए, क्योंकि देश में चैन रहा। और उन बरसों में उसे किसी से लड़ाई न करनी पड़ी क्योंकि यहोवा ने उसे विश्राम दिया था।

7 Therefore he said to Judah, Let us build these cities, and make about them walls, and towers, gates, and bars, while the land is yet before us; because we have sought the LORD our God, we have sought him, and he hath given us rest on every side. So they built, and prospered.उसने यहूदियों से कहा, आओ हम इन नगरों को बसाएं और उनके चारों ओर शहरपनाह, गढ़ और फाटकों के पल्ले और बेड़े बनाएं; देश अब तक हमारे साम्हने पड़ा है, क्योंकि हम ने, अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा की खोज की है हमने उसकी खोज की और उसने हम को चारों ओर से विश्राम दिया है। तब उन्होंने उन नगरों को बसाया और कृतार्थ हुए।

8 And Asa had an army of men that bore targets and spears, out of Judah three hundred thousand; and out of Benjamin, that bore shields and drew bows, two hundred and eighty thousand: all these were mighty men of valor.फिर आसा के पास ढाल और बछीं रखने वालों की एक सेना थी, अर्थात यहूदा में से तो तीन लाख पुरुष और बिन्यामीन में से फरी रखने वाले और धनुर्धारी दो लाख अस्सी हजार ये सब शूरवीर थे।

9 And there came out against them Zerah the Cushite, with a host of a thousand thousand, and three hundred chariots; and came to Mareshah.और उनके विरुद्ध दस लाख पुरुषों की सेना और तीन सौ रथ लिये हुए जेरह नाम एक कूशी निकला और मारेशा तक आ गया।

10 Then Asa went out against him, and they set the battle in array in the valley of Zephathath at Mareshah.तब आसा उसका साम्हना करने को चला और मारेशा के निकट सापता नाम तराई में युद्ध की पांति बान्धी गई।

11 And Asa cried to the LORD his God, and said, LORD, it is nothing with thee to help, whether with many, or with them that have no power: help us, O LORD our God; for we rest on thee, and in thy name we go against this multitude. O LORD, thou art our God; let not man prevail against thee.तब आसा ने अपने परमेश्वर यहोवा की यों दोहाई दी, कि हे यहोवा! जैसे तू सामथीं की सहायता कर सकता है, वैसे ही शक्तिहीन की भी; हे हमारे परमेश्वर यहोवा! हमारी सहायता कर, क्योंकि हमारा भरोसा तुझी पर है और तेरे नाम का भरोसा कर के हम इस भीड़ के विरुद्ध आए हैं। हे यहोवा, तू हमारा परमेश्वर है; मनुष्य तुझ पर प्रबल न होने पाएगा।

12 So the LORD smote the Cushites before Asa, and before Judah; and the Cushites fled.तब यहोवा ने कूशियों को आसा और यहूदियों के साम्हने मारा और कूशी भाग गए।

13 And Asa and the people that were with him pursued them to Gerar: and the Cushites were overthrown, that they could not recover themselves; for they were destroyed before the LORD, and before his host; and they carried away very much spoil.और आसा और उसके संग के लोगों ने उनका पीछा गरार तक किया, और इतने कूशी मारे गए, कि वे फिर सिर न उठा सके क्योंकि वे यहोवा और उसकी सेना से हार गए, और यहूदी बहुत सा लूट ले गए।

14 And they smote all the cities about Gerar; for the fear of the LORD came upon them: and they plundered all the cities; for there was exceeding much spoil in them.और उन्होंने गरार के आस पास के सब नगरों को मार लिया, क्योंकि यहोवा का भय उनके रहने वालों के मन में समा गया और उन्होंने उन नगरों को लूट लिया, क्योंकि उन में बहुत सा धन था।

15 They smote also the tents of cattle, and carried away sheep and camels in abundance, and returned to Jerusalem.फिर पशु-शालाओं को जीत कर बहुत सी भेड़-बकरियां और ऊंट लूट कर यरूशलेम को लौटे।
