1 > How lovely are your dwellings, Yahweh of Hosts!હે સૈન્યોનાં યહોવા, તમારું નિવાસસ્થાન કેવું સોહામણું છે!

2 My soul longs, and even faints for the courts of Yahweh. My heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.તમારા આંગણામાં આવવા માટે મારો આત્મા ખૂબ ઉત્સુક છે; જીવતા જાગતા યહોવા દેવ માટે મારું હૃદય તથા મારો દેહ હર્ષનાદ કરશે.

3 Yes, the sparrow has found a home, And the swallow a nest for herself, where she may have her young, Near your altars, Yahweh of Hosts, my King, and my God.હે સૈન્યોના યહોવા, મારા રાજા તથા મારા દેવ, ચકલીઓને પોતાનું રહેવાનું સ્થાન તથા અબાબીલને પોતાનાં બચ્ચાં રાખવા માળો બાંધવા તમારી વેદીની પાસે જ છે તે સ્થાન મળ્યું છે.

4 Blessed are those who dwell in your house. They are always praising you. Selah.તમારા ઘરમાં વસનારાઓને ધન્ય છે; તેઓ સદા તમારા સ્તુતિગીત ગાશે.

5 Blessed are those whose strength is in you; Who have set their hearts on a pilgrimage.જેઓ યહોવામાં બળવાન, અને જેઓનાં હૃદય તમારા માગોર્ માટે ઉત્સુક છે, તેઓને ધન્ય છે.

6 Passing through the valley of Weeping, they make it a place of springs. Yes, the autumn rain covers it with blessings.તેઓ બાકાની ખીણમાંથી યાત્રા કરે છે. જેને દેવે પાણીના ઝરા જેવી બનાવી છે. પાનખર ઋતુંની વર્ષા પાણીનો ઝરો બનાવે છે.

7 They go from strength to strength. Everyone of them appears before God in Zion.તેઓ વધારે ને વધારે સાર્મથ્યવાન, થતાઁ આગળ વધે છે; તેઓમાંનો દરેક જણ સિયોનમાં, દેવ સમક્ષ હાજર થાય છે.

8 Yahweh, God of hosts, hear my prayer. Listen, God of Jacob. Selah.હે સૈન્યોના દેવ યહોવા; મારી પ્રાર્થના સાંભળો; હે યાકૂબના દેવ, મને ધ્યાનથી સાંભળો.

9 Behold, God our shield, Look at the face of your anointed.હે દેવ, અમારી ઢાલને જુઓ; તમે જેને રાજા તરીકે અભિષિકત કર્યા છે, તેમના પર કૃપાષ્ટિ કરો.

10 For a day in your courts is better than a thousand. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God, Than to dwell in the tents of wickedness.કારણ, અન્યસ્થળનાં હજાર દિવસ કરતાં તારા આંગણામાંનો એક દિવસ શ્રેષ્ઠ છે, દુષ્ટોના તંબુમાં રહેવુ તે કરતાં મારા દેવના મંદિરમાં દરવાન થવું, તે મને વધારે પસંદ છે.

11 For Yahweh God is a sun and a shield. Yahweh will give grace and glory. He withholds no good thing from those who walk blamelessly.કારણ કે યહોવા દેવ સૂર્ય તથા ઢાલ છે, યહોવા કૃપા તથા ગૌરવ આપશે; ન્યાયથી વર્તનારને માટે તે કંઇ પણ શ્રેષ્ઠ બાબત બાકી રાખશે નહિ.

12 Yahweh of Hosts, Blessed is the man who trusts in you.હે સૈન્યોના યહોવા, તેને ધન્ય છે; જે રાખે છે ભરોસો તમારા ઉપર.
