Proverbs 29 - YLT (Gujarati)

1 A man often reproved, hardening the neck, Is suddenly broken, and there is no healing.જે માણસ વારંવાર ઠપકો પામ્યા છતાં પોતાની ગરદન અક્કડ રાખે છે, તે અકસ્માત નાશ પામશે, તેનો કોઇ ઉપાય રહેશે નહિ.

2 In the multiplying of the righteous the people rejoice, And in the ruling of the wicked the people sigh.જ્યારે ન્યાયી લોકો સત્તા પર આવે છે ત્યારે લોકો આનંદોત્સવ કરે છે, પણ દુર્જનના હાથમાં સત્તા આવે છે ત્યારે તેઓ નિસાસા નાખે છે.

3 A man loving wisdom rejoiceth his father, And a friend of harlots destroyeth wealth.જે કોઇ જ્ઞાનને પ્રેમ કરે તે પોતાના પિતાને આનંદ આપે છે; પણ જે વારાંગના સાથે સબંધ રાખે છે તે પોતાની સંપત્તિ પણ ગુમાવે છે.

4 A king by judgment establisheth a land, And one receiving gifts throweth it down.નીતિમાન ન્યાયી રાજા દેશને સ્થિરતા અપેર્ છે, પણ લાંચ મેળવવાનું ચાહે છે તે તેનો નાશ કરે છે.

5 A man taking a portion above his neighbour, Spreadeth a net for his own steps.જે માણસ પોતાના પડોશીના ખોટા વખાણ કરે છે તે તેને ફસાવવા જાળ પાથરે છે.

6 In the transgression of the evil `is' a snare, And the righteous doth sing and rejoice.દુર્જન પોતાના પાપનાં ફાંદામાં ફસાય છે. સજ્જન આનંદ કરે છે.

7 The righteous knoweth the plea of the poor, The wicked understandeth not knowledge.સજ્જન ગરીબોના હિતની ચિંતા રાખે છે. દુર્જનને તે સમજવાની પણ પડી નથી.

8 Men of scorning ensnare a city, And the wise turn back anger.તિરસ્કાર કરનાર માણસો શહેર ઉશ્કેરે છે, પરંતુ હોશિયાર રોષને સમાવે છે.

9 A wise man is judged by the foolish man, And he hath been angry, And he hath laughed, and there is no rest.જો ડાહ્યો માણસ મૂર્ખ સાથે ન્યાયાલયમાં જાય તો તો મૂર્ખ ડાહી વ્યકિત પર ગુસ્સે થશે અને હસશે, અને ત્યાં કાંઇ સૂઝાવ નહિ હોય.

10 Men of blood hate the perfect, And the upright seek his soul.લોહી તરસ્યા માણસો પ્રામાણિક માણસો પર વૈર રાખે છે, અને તેઓ ન્યાયી માણસોને મારી નાખવા માટે ઝૂરે છે.

11 A fool bringeth out all his mind, And the wise till afterwards restraineth it.મૂર્ખ માણસ પોતનો ક્રોધ બહાર ઠાલવે છે, પણ ડાહી વ્યકિત પોતાની જાતને કાબૂમાં રાખે છે.

12 A ruler who is attending to lying words, All his ministers `are' wicked.કોઇ શાસનકર્તા જૂઠાંણું કાને ધરે છે, તો તેના બધા અમલદારો દુષ્ટ થઇ જાય છે.

13 The poor and the man of frauds have met together, Jehovah is enlightening the eyes of them both.ગરીબને જેઓ તેમને તકલીફ આપે છે તેમનામાં એક સમાનતા છે. યહોવાએ તેમને જીવન આપ્યુ છે.

14 a king that is judging truly the poor, His throne for ever is established.જે રાજા વિશ્વાસુપણાથી ગરીબોનો ન્યાય કરે છે, તેનો હોદૃો સદાને માટે સ્થિર રહેશે.

15 A rod and reproof give wisdom, And a youth let away is shaming his mother.સોટી તથા ઠપકો જ્ઞાન આપે છે; પણ સ્વતંત્ર મૂકેલું બાળક પોતાની માને ફજેત કરે છે.

16 In the multiplying of the wicked transgression multiplieth, And the righteous on their fall do look.દુર્જનો સત્તા ઉપર આવે છે ત્યારે પાપ વધે છે, પણ સજ્જનો તેઓની પડતી થતી જોશે.

17 Chastise thy son, and he giveth thee comfort, Yea, he giveth delights to thy soul.તું તારા દીકરાને શિક્ષા કરીશ તો તે તારા માટે આશીર્વાદરૂપ હશે, તે તારા હૈયાને આનંદ આપશે.

18 Without a Vision is a people made naked, And whoso is keeping the law, O his happiness!જ્યાં સંદર્શન નથી, ત્યાં લોકો સ્વેચ્છાચારી બની જાય છે, પણ જે દેવના નિયમને વળગી રહે છે તે સુખી છે.

19 By words a servant is not instructed though he understand, And there is nothing answering.ગુલામોને એકલા શબ્દથી સુધારી ન શકાય, કારણ, તે સમજશે તો પણ ગણકારશે નહિ.

20 Thou hast seen a man hasty in his words! More hope of a fool than of him.તમે ઝડપથી બોલતા માણસને જુઓ છો? તેના કરતાં મૂર્ખ માટે વધારે આશા છે.

21 Whoso is bringing up his servant delicately, from youth, `At' his latter end also he is continuator.નાનપણથી લાડમાં ઉછરેલો ગુલામ પછીથી તે તેનો દીકરો થઇ જાય છે.

22 An angry man stirreth up contention, And a furious man is multiplying transgression.ક્રોધી માણસ ઝઘડા સળગાવે છે, અને ગુસ્સાવાળો વ્યકિત ઘણા ગુના કરે છે.

23 The pride of man humbleth him, And humility of spirit upholdeth honour.અભિમાન વ્યકિતને અપમાનિત કરે છે, પણ નમ્રતાથી વ્યકિત સન્માન મેળવે છે.

24 Whoso is sharing with a thief is hating his own soul, Execration he heareth, and telleth not.ચોરનો ભાગીદાર પોતાનો જ દુશ્મન છે; તેને જુબાની આપવા માટે બોલાવાય છે, પણ સાક્ષી નથી પૂરતો.

25 Fear of man causeth a snare, And the confident in Jehovah is set on high.વ્યકિતનો ભય એ છટકું છે, પણ જે કોઇ યહોવા પર વિશ્વાસ રાખે છે તે સુરક્ષિત છે.

26 Many are seeking the face of a ruler, And from Jehovah `is' the judgment of each.સૌ કોઇ શાશકની કૃપા શોધે છે, પણ ન્યાય તો યહોવા પાસેથી જ મળી શકે છે.

27 An abomination to the righteous `is' the perverse man, And an abomination to the wicked `is' the upright in the way!પણ સજ્જનો દુર્જનોને તિરસ્કારે છે અને દુર્જનો સાચા માગેર્ ચાલનારને ધૂત્કારે છે.
