Mark 5:2
જ્યારે ઈસુ હોડીમાંથી નીચે ઉતર્યો ત્યારે જ્યાં મરેલા માણસોને દાટવામાં આવે છે તે ગુફાઓમાંથી એક માણસ તેમની પાસે આવ્યો. આ માણસને ભૂત વળગેલ હતું.

તે અશુદ્ધ આત્માએ તે માણસને ધ્રુંજાવી નાખ્યો. પછી તે આત્માએ મોટી બૂમ પાડી અને તે માણસમાંથી બહાર નીકળી ગયો.

જ્યારે તે છોકરો આવતો હતો ત્યારે અશુદ્ધ આત્માએ તેને જમીન પર પછાડ્યો. છોકરાએ તેની જાત પરનો કાબૂ ગુમાવ્યો. પણ ઈસુએ અશુદ્ધ આત્માને ખૂબ ધમકાવ્યો. પછી તે છોકરો સાજો થઈ ગયો. અને ઈસુએ તે છોકરાને તેના બાપને પાછો આપ્યો.

જ્યારે ઈસુ હોડીમાંથી બહાર નીકળ્યો ત્યારે તે શહેરમાનો એક માણસ ઈસુ પાસે આવ્યો. આ માણસમાં ભૂતો હતાં. તે ઘણા લાંબા સમયથી કપડાં પહેરતો ન હતો. તે ઘરમાં નહિ પણ જ્યાં લોકોના મૃતદેહો દાટવામાં આવતા તે ગુફાઓમાં તે રહેતો.

માર્ક 3:30
ઈસુએ આ કહ્યું કારણ કે શાસ્ત્રીઓ કહેતા હતા કે ઈસુને આત્મા વળગેલા છે.

બીજી એક વખત ઈસુએ સરોવરની બાજુમાં ઉપદેશ શરૂ કર્યો. ઘણા બધા લોકો ઈસુની આજુબાજુ ભેગા થયા. તેથી તે હોડીમાં ચઢ્યો અને ત્યાં બેઠો. બધા જ લોકો પાણીની બાાજુમાં સમુદ્રને કાંઠે રહ્યાં.
