પાછળથી, ઈસુએ જાણ્યું કે હવે બધુંજ પૂરું થઈ ગયું છે તેથી શાસ્ત્રવચન પ્રમાણે પૂર્ણ કરવા તેણે કહ્યું, “હું તરસ્યો છું.”
