וַ֠יֹּֽאמְרוּ said VA-yoh-meh-roo הָֽאֲנָשִׁ֤ים men ha-uh-na-SHEEM הָהֵ֙מָּה֙ And ha-HAY-MA אֵלָ֔יו those ay-LAV אֲנַ֥חְנוּ unto uh-NAHK-noo טְמֵאִ֖ים We teh-may-EEM לְנֶ֣פֶשׁ him, leh-NEH-fesh אָדָ֑ם defiled ah-DAHM לָ֣מָּה body LA-ma נִגָּרַ֗ע dead nee-ɡa-RA לְבִלְתִּ֨י the leh-veel-TEE הַקְרִ֜יב by hahk-REEV אֶת of et קָרְבַּ֤ן a kore-BAHN יְהוָה֙ man: yeh-VA בְּמֹ֣עֲד֔וֹ wherefore beh-MOH-uh-DOH בְּת֖וֹךְ back, beh-TOKE בְּנֵ֥י kept beh-NAY יִשְׂרָאֵֽל׃ we yees-ra-ALE
