Numbers 31 - YLT (Gujarati)

1 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,યહોવાએ મૂસાને કહ્યું,

2 `Execute the vengeance of the sons of Israel against the Midianites -- afterwards thou art gathered unto thy people.'“મૂર્તિપૂજામાં ઇસ્રાએલને લઈ જનાર મિદ્યાનીઓ ઉપર તું પૂરેપૂરું વેર વસૂલ કરજે. તે પછી તું પિતૃઓ ભેગો પોઢી જશે.”

3 And Moses speaketh unto the people, saying, `Be ye armed some of you for the host, and they are against Midian, to put the vengeance of Jehovah on Midian;પછી મૂસાએ લોકોને કહ્યું, “તમાંરામાંથી કેટલાકે શસ્ત્રસજજ થઈને મિદ્યાનીઓ ઉપર હુમલો કરો, અને યહોવા તમાંરા દ્વારા મિદ્યાનીઓ ઉપર બદલો લેશે.

4 a thousand for a tribe -- a thousand for a tribe, to all the tribes of Israel -- ye do send to the host.'તમાંરે ઇસ્રાએલના પ્રત્યેક કુળસમૂહમાંથી 1,000 માંણસોને યુદ્ધમાં મોકલવા.”

5 And there are given out of the thousands of Israel a thousand for a tribe, twelve thousand armed ones of the host;આથી પ્રત્યેક કુળસમૂહમાંથી હજાર માંણસો મુજબ મૂસાએ 12,000 માંણસો ભેગા કરીને તેમને શસ્ત્રસજજ કરીને યુદ્ધમાં મોકલ્યા.”

6 and Moses sendeth them, a thousand for a tribe, to the host, them and Phinehas son of Eleazar the priest, to the host; and the holy vessels, and the trumpets of the shouting, in his hand.અને યાજક એલઆઝારનો પુત્ર ફીનહાસ પવિત્ર સામગ્રી અને યુદ્ધનાદ કરવાનાં રણશિંગડાં લઈને સાથે ગયો.

7 And they war against Midian, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses, and slay every male;યુદ્ધમાં મિદ્યાનના સર્વ પુરુષોનો સંહાર કરવામાં આવ્યો. કારણ કે મૂસાએ યહોવાની આજ્ઞા મુજબ મિદ્યાનીઓ પર હુમલો કર્યો હતો.

8 and the kings of Midian they have slain, besides their pierced ones, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian; and Balaam son of Beor, they have slain with the sword.યુદ્ધમાં માંર્યા ગયેલા માંણસોમાં મિદ્યાની રાજાઓ અવી, રેકેમ, સૂર, હૂર અને રેબા હતા. ઉપરાંત બયોરના પુત્ર બલામને પણ માંરી નાખ્યો હતો.

9 And the sons of Israel take captive the women of Midian, and their infants; and all their cattle, and all their substance, and all their wealth they have plundered;ઇસ્રાએલીઓએ મિદ્યાનીઓની સર્વ સ્ત્રીઓને અને બાળકોને કેદ પકડયાં, તેમના બધાં ઢોર, ઘેટાં બકરાં અને સરસામાંન લૂંટી લીધાં.

10 and all their cities, with their habitations, and all their towers, they have burnt with fire.તેમણે તેમના બધાં શહેરોને અને છાવણીઓને લૂટયાં.

11 And they take all the spoil, and all the prey, among man and among beast;ત્યાર પછી તેઓ બધી લૂટ અને કબજે કરેલાં પશુઓ અને માંણસોને

12 and they bring in, unto Moses, and unto Eleazar the priest, and unto the company of the sons of Israel, the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto the camp, unto the plains of Moab, which `are' by Jordan, `near' Jericho.મોઆબના મેદાનમાં યરીખોની સામે યર્દન નદીને કાંઠે આવેલી છાવણીમાં મૂસા, યાજક એલઆઝાર અને સમગ્ર ઇસ્રાએલી સમાંજ સમક્ષ લાવ્યા.

13 And Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and all the princes of the company, go out to meet them, unto the outside of the camp,મૂસા, એલઆઝાર યાજક અને લોકોના આગેવાનો વિજયી સૈન્યને મળવા માંટે બહાર આવ્યા.

14 and Moses is wroth against the inspectors of the force, chiefs of the thousands, and chiefs of the hundreds, who are coming in from the host of the battle.મૂસા યુદ્ધમાંથી પાછા ફરતા લશ્કરના સેનાપતિઓ, અને લશ્કરના નાનામોટા અધિકારીઓ ઉપર ક્રોધે ભરાયો હતો.

15 And Moses saith unto them, `Have ye kept alive every female?તેણે તેઓને પૂછયું, “તમે આ બધી સ્ત્રીઓને શા માંટે જીવતી રહેવા દીધી?

16 lo, they -- they have been to the sons of Israel, through the word of Balaam, to cause a trespass against Jehovah in the matter of Peor, and the plague is in the company of Jehovah.આ એ જ સ્ત્રીઓ છે જેઓએ બલામની શિખામણ મુજબ પેઓરના પર્વત પર ઇસ્રાએલીઓને યહોવાનો ત્યાગ કરવા તથા મૂર્તિપૂજામાં લલચાવી ગઈ હતી, અને તેને કારણે જ ઇસ્રાએલી સમાંજમાં મરકીનો રોગચાળો ફાટી નીકળ્યો હતો.

17 `And now, slay ye every male among the infants, yea, every woman known of man by the lying of a male ye have slain;આથી બધાં પુરુષ સંતાનોને માંરી નાખો, અને જેમણે શારીરિક સંબંધ કર્યો હોય એવી બધી સ્ત્રીઓને પણ માંરી નાખો.

18 and all the infants among the women, who have not known the lying of a male, ye have kept alive for yourselves.પરંતુ જે સ્ત્રીઓએ શારીરિક સંબંધ ન કર્યો હોય તેઓને તમાંરે માંટે જીવતી રાખો.

19 `And ye, encamp ye at the outside of the camp seven days -- any who hath slain a person, and any who hath come against a pierced one, ye cleanse yourselves on the third day, and on the seventh day -- ye and your captives;અને જેઓએ કોઈનો સંહાર કર્યો છે અથવા મૃતદેહનો સ્પર્શ કર્યો છે તેઓ બધાએ સાત દિવસ સુધી છાવણીની બહાર રહેવું. તમાંરે અને તમાંરા કેદીઓએ ત્રીજે અને સાતમે દિવસે દેહશુદ્ધિ કરવી,

20 and every garment, and every skin vessel, and every work of goats' `hair', and every wooden vessel, ye yourselves cleanse.'વળી તમાંરાં બધા કપડાં તથા જે કાંઈ ચામડાનું કે બકરાના વાળનું કે લાકડાનું બનાવેલુ હોય તે બધું ય શુદ્ધ કરવાનું યાદ રાખો.”

21 And Eleazar the priest saith unto the men of the host who go in to battle, `This `is' the statute of the law which Jehovah hath commanded Moses:પછી યાજક એલઆઝારે યુદ્ધમાંથી પાછા ફરેલા યોદ્ધાઓને કહ્યું, “યહોવાએ મૂસા માંરફતે જણાવેલા આ શાસ્ત્રનો નિયમ છે.

22 only, the gold, and the silver, the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead,જે કાંઈ અગ્નિમાં મૂકી શકાય જેમકે સોનું, ચાંદી, કાંસા, લોખંડ, કલાઈ અને સીસાને

23 every thing which may go into fire, ye cause to pass over through fire, and it hath been clean; only, with the water of separation it is cleansed, and all that may not go into fire, ye cause to pass over through water;શુદ્ધ કરવા માંટે અગ્નિમાંથી પસાર કરવું પડશે; પછી શુદ્ધિના પાણી વડે તેને શુદ્ધ કરવામાં આવશે, જો કાંઈ અગ્નિમાં મૂકી ન શકાય તે બધાને પાણીથી શુદ્ધ કરવું.

24 and ye have washed your garments on the seventh day, and have been clean, and afterwards ye come in unto the camp.'સાતમે દિવસે તમાંરે કપડાં ધોઈ નાખવાં, ત્યાર પછી તમે શુદ્ધ થશો, અને પાછા છાવણીમાં દાખલ થઈ શકશો.”

25 And Jehovah speaketh unto Moses, saying,અને યહોવાએ મૂસાને કહ્યું,

26 `Take up the sum of the prey of the captives, among man and among beast, thou, and Eleazar the priest, and the heads of the fathers of the company;“તું તથા એલઆઝાર યાજક અને કુળના વડાલો સાથે મળીને કબજે કરાયેલાં માંણસો અને પશુઓ સહિત બધાની ગણતરી કર,

27 and thou hast halved the prey between those handling the battle who go out to the host and all the company;અને એ યુદ્ધમાં ગલેયા યોદ્ધાઓ અને બાકીના સમાંજ વચ્ચે સરખે ભાગે વહેંચી આપ.

28 and thou hast raised a tribute to Jehovah from the men of war, who go out to the host, one body out of five hundred, of man, and of the herd, and of the asses, and of the flock;યુદ્ધમાં ગયેલા યોદ્ધાઓના ભાગમાંથી તારે દર 500 કેદીઓ, બળદો, ગધેડાં કે ઘેટાં દીઠ એક યહોવાને માંટે કાઢી લેવું.

29 from their half ye do take, and thou hast given to Eleazar the priest -- the heave-offering of Jehovah.પેલી વસ્તુઓ સૈનિકોએ યુદ્ધમાં લીધેલી વસ્તુઓના અડધા ભાગમાંથી લેવી અને તેને યાજક એલઆઝારને આપવી તે ભાગ યહોવાનો છે.

30 `And from the sons of Israel's half thou dost take one possession out of fifty, of man, of the herd, of the asses, and of the flock, of all the cattle, and thou hast given them to the Levites keeping the charge of the tabernacle of Jehovah.'લોકોના અડધા ભાગમાંથી, દર 50 માંણસ દીઠ, બળદો, ગધેડાં, ઘેટાં અને બીજાં બધાં પશુઓમાંથી એક લઈને યહોવાના પવિત્રમંડપની સંભાળ લેતા લેવીઓને તે આપ. તે દેવનો ભાગ છે.”

31 And Moses doth -- Eleazar the priest also -- as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.તેથી યહોવાએ આજ્ઞા કરી હતી તે પ્રમાંણે મૂસાએ અને યાજક એલઆઝારે કર્યું.

32 And the prey, the residue of the spoil which the people of the host have spoiled, is of the flock six hundred thousand, and seventy thousand, and five thousand;યોદ્ધાઓએ જે લૂંટ એકત્ર કરી હતી તેની યાદી: 6,75,000 ઘેટાં,

33 and of the herd two and seventy thousand;બોંતેર હજારઢોર,

34 and of asses one and sixty thousand;એકસઠ હજાર ગધેડા,

35 and of human beings -- of the women who have not known the lying of a male -- all the persons `are' two and thirty thousand.બત્રીસ હજાર કુંવારી કન્યાઓ.

36 And the half -- the portion of those who go out into the host -- the number of the flock is three hundred thousand, and thirty thousand, and seven thousand and five hundred.યુદ્ધમાં ગયેલા સૈનિકોને લૂંટમાંથી જે અડધો ભાગ તેની વિગતો: 3,37,500 ઘેટા;

37 And the tribute to Jehovah of the sheep is six hundred five and seventy;તેમાંથી 675 કર તરીકે યહોવાને આપવામાં આવ્યાં.

38 and the herd `is' six and thirty thousand, and their tribute to Jehovah `is' two and seventy;છત્રીસ હજાર ઢોર, તેમાંથી72 કર તરીકે યહોવાને આપવામાં આવ્યાં.

39 and the asses `are' thirty thousand and five hundred, and their tribute to Jehovah `is' one and sixty;ત્રીસ હજારને પાંચસૌ ઘેડાં; તેમાંથી 61 કર તરીકે યહોવાને આપવામાં આવ્યા.

40 and the human beings `are' sixteen thousand, and their tribute to Jehovah `is' two and thirty persons.સોળ હજાર માંણસો, તેમાંથી 32 કર તરીકે યહોવાને આપવામાં આવ્યા.

41 And Moses giveth the tribute -- Jehovah's heave-offering -- to Eleazar the priest, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.યહોવાએ મૂસાને કહ્યું હતું તે પ્રમાંણે યહોવાને સર્વ ભાગ યાજક એલઆઝારને આપવામાં આવ્યો.

42 And of the sons of Israel's half, which Moses halved from the men who war --લૂંટનો અડધો ભાગ ઇસ્રાએલી લોકો માંટે હતો, મૂસાએ યુદ્ધમાં ગયેલા યોદ્ધાઓના ભાગથી તેને જુદો રાખ્યો હતો, તેની વિગતો;

43 and the company's half is, of the flock three hundred thousand, and thirty thousand, seven thousand and five hundred;અડધા ભાગમાં 3,37,500 ઘેટાં

44 and of the herd six and thirty thousand;છત્રીસ હજાર ગાયો.

45 and of asses thirty thousand and five hundred;ત્રીસ હજારને પાંચસૌ ગધેડાં,

46 and of human beings sixteen thousand --ને સોળ હજાર પુરુષોઓ હતા.

47 Moses taketh from the sons of Israel's half the one possession from the fifty, of man and of beast, and giveth them to the Levites keeping the charge of the tabernacle of Jehovah, as Jehovah hath commanded Moses.યહોવાની આજ્ઞા અનુસાર મૂસાએ લોકોને મળેલા અડધા ભાગમાંથી દર 50 માંણસોમાંથી એક માંણસ અને દર 50 પશુઓમાંથી એક પશુ લઈને યહોવાના પવિત્ર મંડપની સંભાળ રાખનાર લેવીઓને તે આપ્યાં.

48 And the inspectors whom the thousands of the host hath, (heads of the thousands and heads of the hundreds), draw near unto Moses,પછી સેનાપતિઓ અને લશ્કરના નાનામોટા અધિકારીઓએ આવીને

49 and they say unto Moses, `Thy servants have taken up the sum of the men of war who `are' with us, and not a man of us hath been missed;મૂસાને જણાવ્યું, “અમે આપના સેવકોએ તેમના હાથ નીચેને માંણસોની ગણતરી કરી છે અને એક પણ માંણસ ઓછો થયો નથી.

50 and we bring near Jehovah's offering, each that which he hath found, vessels of gold -- chain, and bracelet, seal-ring, `ear'-ring, and bead -- to make atonement for ourselves before Jehovah.'આથી લૂંટના અમાંરા ભાગમાંથી ખાસ સ્તુત્યાર્પણો યહોવાને અર્પણ કરવા લાવ્યા છીએ: સોનાનાં ધરેણાં, સાંકળા, કડાં, વીટીઓ, કુડળો અને હારો-અમાંરા પ્રાણ બચાવવા બદલ યહોવાને ધરાવવા આવ્યા છીએ. યહોવા સમક્ષ અમાંરા આત્માંઓના પ્રાયશ્ચિતને માંટે આ સર્વ અર્પણો છે.”

51 And Moses receiveth -- Eleazar the priest also -- the gold from them, every made vessel,મૂસાએ અને યાજક એલઆઝારે તેમની પાસેથી દાગીનાઓ સ્વીકારી લીધા. તે વધા શોભાયમાંન અલંકારના રૂપમાં હતા.

52 and all the gold of the heave-offering which they have lifted up to Jehovah is sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels, from heads of the thousands, and from heads of the hundreds;તેમણે યહોવાને ધરાવેલી આ સોનાની ભેટનું કુલ વજન બસો કિલો હતું. તેની કિંમત 420 પાઉંડ હતી. એ 1000 માંણસોના અને 100 માંણસોના આગેવાનોએ આપેલ હતું.

53 (the men of the host have spoiled each for himself);અધિકારી નહોતા તેવા યોદ્ધાઓએ પોતપોતાની લૂંટ પોતાની પાસે રાખી હતી.

54 and Moses taketh -- Eleazar the priest also -- the gold from the heads of the thousands and of the hundreds, and they bring it in unto the tent of meeting -- a memorial for the sons of Israel before Jehovah.મૂસા અને યાજક એલઆઝાર ‘હજાર-હજાર’ ના અને સોસોના સેનાનાયકો પાસેથી સોનું સ્વીકારીને મુલાકાત મંડપમાં લઈ આવ્યા, ઇસ્રાએલ પ્રજાના સ્મરણાર્થે યહોવા સમક્ષ તે રાખવામાં આવ્યું, જેથી યહોવા ઇસ્રાએલનું રક્ષણ કરે.
