Nehemiah 9:28
પરંતુ તેઓએ પછી આરામ કર્યો, અને ફરી તેઓએ તારી સંમુખ દુષ્કૃત્યો કર્યા; તે માટે તેં તેઓને તેમના દુશ્મનોના હાથમાં સોપી દીધા. જેથી તેમના દુશ્મનો તેમના ધણી બન્યાં, પરંતુ જ્યારે ફરીથી તે લોકોએ તને પોકાર કર્યો ત્યારે તેઁ આકાશમાંથી સાંભળ્યું અને તને તેઓને કેટલીયે વાર બચાવ્યા કેમકે તું દયાળુ છે.

| thou them in the hand | וַתַּֽעַזְבֵ֞ם | wattaʿazbēm | va-ta-az-VAME |
| enemies, their of | בְּיַ֤ד | bĕyad | beh-YAHD |
| dominion the had they that so | אֹֽיְבֵיהֶם֙ | ʾōyĕbêhem | oh-yeh-vay-HEM |
| returned, they when yet them: over | וַיִּרְדּ֣וּ | wayyirdû | va-yeer-DOO |
| and cried | בָהֶ֔ם | bāhem | va-HEM |
| unto thee, thou | וַיָּשׁ֙וּבוּ֙ | wayyāšûbû | va-ya-SHOO-VOO |
| heardest | וַיִּזְעָק֔וּךָ | wayyizʿāqûkā | va-yeez-ah-KOO-ha |
| them from heaven; | וְאַתָּ֞ה | wĕʾattâ | veh-ah-TA |
| and many | מִשָּׁמַ֧יִם | miššāmayim | mee-sha-MA-yeem |
| times | תִּשְׁמַ֛ע | tišmaʿ | teesh-MA |
| deliver thou didst | וְתַצִּילֵ֥ם | wĕtaṣṣîlēm | veh-ta-tsee-LAME |
| them according to thy mercies; | כְּֽרַחֲמֶ֖יךָ | kĕraḥămêkā | keh-ra-huh-MAY-ha |
| רַבּ֥וֹת | rabbôt | RA-bote | |
| עִתִּֽים׃ | ʿittîm | ee-TEEM |
