Nahum 1 - BBE (Gujarati)

1 The word about Nineveh. The book of the vision of Nahum the Elkoshite.આ પુસ્તક એલ્કોશીમાં રહેતા નાહૂમને નિનવેહ પર આવી રહેલા વિનાશ વિષે દેવે આપેલું સંદર્શન છે:

2 The Lord is a God who takes care of his honour and gives punishment for wrong; the Lord gives punishment and is angry; the Lord sends punishment on those who are against him, being angry with his haters.યહોવા ઇર્ષાળું દેવ છે. તેઓ ક્રોધે ભરાઇને બદલો લેનાર દેવ છે. તે પોતાના શત્રુઓ પર વૈર વાળે છે. તે પોતાના શત્રુઓ પર કોપાયમાન રહે છે.

3 The Lord is slow to get angry and great in power, and will not let the sinner go without punishment: the way of the Lord is in the wind and the storm, and the clouds are the dust of his feet.યહોવા ગુસ્સે થવામાં ધીમા છે. તેમની પાસે મહાન શકિત છે. અને તે ચોક્કસપણે ગુનેગારોને દંડ્યા વગર જવા દેતા નથી. પ્રચંડ ઝંજાવાત અને વાવાઝોડામાં થઇને યહોવાનો માર્ગ જાય છે. વાદળો તેના પગની રજ છે.

4 He says sharp words to the sea and makes it dry, drying up all the rivers: Bashan is feeble, and Carmel, and the flower of Lebanon is without strength.તે સાગરને ધમકાવે છે અને મહાસાગરો સૂકવી દે છે. તે નદીઓ સૂકાવીને રેતીમાં ફેરવી દે છે; બાશાન અને કામેર્લના લીલાંછમ પ્રાંતો સૂકાઇ જાય છે; લબાનોનનાં ફૂલો કરમાઇ જાય છે.

5 The mountains are shaking because of him, and the hills flowing away; the earth is falling to bits before him, the world and all who are in it.તેમને કારણે પર્વતો ધ્રુજે છે. ને ડુંગરો ઓગળી જાય છે. તેમની સામે પૃથ્વી ધ્રુજે છે, દુનિયા અને તેમાં વસતા બધા જીવો હાલી ઊઠે છે.

6 Who may keep his place before his wrath? and who may undergo the heat of his passion? his wrath is let loose like fire and the rocks are broken open by him.યહોવાના રોષ આગળ કોણ ટકી શકે? તેના ક્રોધનો તાપ કોણ સહી શકે? તેનો ક્રોધ અગ્નિની જેમ વરસે છે અને તે ખડકોના ચૂરેચૂરા કરી નાખે છે.

7 The Lord is good, a strong place in the day of trouble; and he has knowledge of those who take him for their safe cover.યહોવા ભલા છે; મુશ્કેલીના સમયમાં તે આપણને આશ્રય આપે છે!તેને શરણે આવનારનું તે ધ્યાન રાખે છે.

8 But like water overflowing he will take them away; he will put an end to those who come up against him, driving his haters into the dark.પરંતુ તે પોતાના શત્રુઓનો પ્રચંડ ઘસમસતા જળપ્રલયથી સંપૂર્ણ નાશ કરે છે; અને તેઓને અંધારામાં ધકેલી દે છે.

9 What are you designing against the Lord? he will put an end to it: his haters will not come up again a second time.હે નિનવેહ, યહોવા વિરૂદ્ધ તમે શું ષડયંત્ર રચો છો? તે તમારો સંપૂર્ણ નાશ કરી નાખશે. તું બીજીવાર મુશ્કેલી ઊભી નહિ કરી શકે.

10 For though they are like twisted thorns, and are overcome as with drink, they will come to destruction like stems of grass fully dry.કાંટા વચ્ચે અટવાયેલાની જેમ, જેઓ પીધેલા છે તેની જેમ, અને સંપૂર્ણ રીતે કરમાયેલા, લણી લીધેલા ખેતરની જેમ હશે તોપણ તેઓને તે ભરખી જશે.

11 One has gone out from you who is designing evil against the Lord, whose purposes are of no value.યહોવાની વિરૂદ્ધ દુષ્ટ યોજના કરનાર તમારામાંથી એક બહાર આવે. તે દુષ્ટ સલાહકાર છે.

12 This is what the Lord has said: The days of my cause against you are ended; they are cut off and past. Though I have sent trouble on you, you will no longer be troubled.યહોવા પોતાના લોકોને કહે છે, “તમારા શત્રુઓ ગમે તેવા બળવાન અને અસંખ્ય હશે તેમ છતાં તેનો નાશ થશે. તેમનું નામોનિશાન નહિ રહે. મેં તમને શિક્ષા કરી છે છતાઁ હું હવે તમને સજા નહિ કરું!

13 And now I will let his yoke be broken off you, and your chains be parted.અને હવે હું તમારી સાંકળી તોડી નાખીશ અને આશ્શૂરના રાજાની ગુલામીના બોજમાંથી તમને મુકત કરીશ.”

14 The Lord has given an order about you, that no more of your name are to be planted: from the house of your gods I will have the pictured and metal images cut off; I will make your last resting-place a place of shame; for you are completely evil.યહોવાએ તમારા માટે આ હુકમ આપ્યો છે, “તારા કુળની હારમાળા ખલાસ થઇ જશે. તારા મંદિરોની મૂર્તિઓ અને પ્રતિમાઓનો હું નાશ કરીશ. હું તને દફનાવી દઇશ! કારણકે તું તિરસ્કૃત થયો છે!”
