Luke 5 - YLT (Gujarati)

1 And it came to pass, in the multitude pressing on him to hear the word of God, that he was standing beside the lake of Gennesaret,ગન્નેસરેત ગાલીલ સરોવરને કાંઠે ઈસુ ઊભો હતો તે દેવના વચનનો ઉપદેશ કરતો હતો. તેઓ તેનો ઉપદેશ સાંભળતા હતા.

2 and he saw two boats standing beside the lake, and the fishers, having gone away from them, were washing the nets,ત્યારે તેણે સરોવરને કિનારે બે હોડી લાંગરેલી જોઈ. માછીમારો તેઓની જાળ પાણીમાં ધોઇ રહ્યાં હતા.

3 and having entered into one of the boats, that was Simon's, he asked him to put back a little from the land, and having sat down, was teaching the multitudes out of the boat.તેમાની એક હોડી સિમોનની હતી. ઈસુ તે હોડીમાં બેસવા ચઢી ગયો. ઈસુએ તેને કાંઠાથી થોડે દૂર હોડી હંકારવાનું કહ્યું. તેણે તેમાં બેસીને લોકોને ઉપદેશ આપ્યો.

4 And when he left off speaking, he said unto Simon, `Put back to the deep, and let down your nets for a draught;'ઈસુએ ઉપદેશ આપી રહ્યાં પછી સિમોનને કહ્યું, “હોડીને દૂર ઊંડા પાણીમાં લઈ જાઓ. અને માછલાં પકડવા જાળો નાખો. તમને કેટલાંક માછલાંઓ મળશે.”

5 and Simon answering said to him, `Master, through the whole night, having laboured, we have taken nothing, but at thy saying I will let down the net.'સિમોને ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “સ્વામી, અમે આખી રાત ખૂબ મહેનત કરી છે, પરંતુ અમને કશું જ પ્રાપ્ત થયું નથી. પરંતુ તું કહે છે તે કારણથી હું જાળો નાખીશ.”

6 And having done this, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes, and their net was breaking,માછીમારોએ પાણીમાં જાળો નાખી અને જાળોમાં એટલી બધી માછલીઓ ભરાઇ કે તેના ભારથી જાળો તૂટવા માંડી.

7 and they beckoned to the partners, who `are' in the other boat, having come, to help them; and they came, and filled both the boats, so that they were sinking.તેથી તેઓએ બીજી હોડીમાં બેઠેલા એમના મિત્રોને ઇશારો કર્યો. તેઓ આવ્યા અને બંને હોડીઓમાં એટલી બધી માછલીઓ ભરી કે હોડીઓ ડૂબવા માંડી.

8 And Simon Peter having seen, fell down at the knees of Jesus, saying, `Depart from me, because I am a sinful man, O lord;'જ્યારે સિમોન પિતરે આ જોયું ત્યારે તે ઈસુના ચરણોમાં માથું નમાવીને બોલ્યો, “પ્રભુ! હું તો એક પાપી માણસ છું.

9 for astonishment seized him, and all those with him, at the draught of the fishes that they took,તું મારાથી દૂર રહે.” તેણે આ એટલા માટે કહ્યું કારણ કે આટલી બધી માછલીઓ પકડાઇ તેથી તે અને તેના સાથીદારો ભારે આશ્ચર્ય પામ્યા.

10 and in like manner also James and John, sons of Zebedee, who were partners with Simon; and Jesus said unto Simon, `Fear not, henceforth thou shalt be catching men;'ઝબદીનો દીકરો યાકૂબ અને યોહાન તથા પિતરના ભાગીદારો જે સિમોનના મિત્રો હતા તેઓને પણ આ જોઈને ભારે આશ્ચર્ય થયું હતું. તેથી ઈસુએ સિમોનને કહ્યું, “ગભરાઇશ નહિ, હવે પછી તું માછલીઓ નહિ, પરતું માણસોને ભેગા કરીશ!”

11 and they, having brought the boats upon the land, having left all, did follow him.પછી તે લોકો તેઓની હોડીઓ કિનારે લાવ્યા અને સર્વસ્વનો ત્યાગ કરીને ઈસુને અનુસર્યા.

12 And it came to pass, in his being in one of the cities, that lo, a man full of leprosy, and having seen Jesus, having fallen on `his' face, he besought him, saying, `Sir, if thou mayest will, thou art able to cleanse me;'પછી એક વખત ઈસુ એક શહેરમાં હતો, ત્યારે આખા શરીરે રક્તપિત્તના રોગથી પીડાતો એક માણસ ત્યાં હતો. ઈસુને જોઈને તે માણસે સાષ્ટાંગ દંડવત પ્રણામ કર્યા અને કહ્યું, “પ્રભુ! મને સાજો કર, તું ચાહે તો મને સાજો કરી શકવા સમર્થ છે.”

13 and having stretched forth `his' hand, he touched him, having said, `I will; be thou cleansed;' and immediately the leprosy went away from him.ઈસુએ કહ્યું, “હું તને સાજો કરવા ઈચ્છું છું, તું સાજો થઈ જા!” ઈસુનો સ્પર્શ થતાં જ દર્દીનો રક્તપિત્તનો રોગ મટી ગયો. તે રોગ મુક્ત થઈ ગયો.

14 And he charged him to tell no one, `But, having gone away, shew thyself to the priest, and bring near for thy cleansing according as Moses directed, for a testimony to them;'ઈસુએ આ વાત કોઈને પણ ન કહેવાની આજ્ઞા કરીને કહ્યું, “તું યાજક પાસે જા અને તારી જાત તેને બતાવ અને મૂસાના આદેશ પ્રમાણે દેવને ભેટ અર્પણ કર. જેથી લોકોને ખબર પડશે કે તું સારો થઈ ગયો છે.”

15 but the more was the report going abroad concerning him, and great multitudes were coming together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities,પરંતુ ઈસુના આ સમાચાર તો વધુ ને વધુ પ્રસરવા લાગ્યા. ઘણા લોકોના ટોળેટોળા ઈસુને સાંભળવા તથા પોતાના રોગમાંથી મુક્ત થવા આવવા લાગ્યા.

16 and he was withdrawing himself in the desert places and was praying.તેથી ઈસુ વારંવાર એકાંત સ્થળોએ જતો જેથી એકાંતે પ્રાર્થના કરી શકતો.

17 And it came to pass, on one of the days, that he was teaching, and there were sitting by Pharisees and teachers of the Law, who were come out of every village of Galilee, and Judea, and Jerusalem, and the power of the Lord was -- to heal them.એક વખત ઈસુ ઉપદેશ આપતો હતો ત્યારે કેટલાક ફરોશીઓ અને નિયમોપદેશકો ત્યાં આવીને બેઠા. તે બધા ગાલીલ, યહૂદિયા અને યરૂશાલેમના હતા. ઈસુ પાસે રોગીઓને સાજા કરવા પ્રભુનું પરાક્રમ હતું.

18 And lo, men bearing upon a couch a man, who hath been struck with palsy, and they were seeking to bring him in, and to place before him,કેટલાએક માણસો એક પક્ષઘાતી માણસને ખાટલામાં ઊંચકીને લાવ્યાં હતા. તે માણસોએ ઈસુની આગળ તેને લાવવા અને નીચે મૂકવા પ્રયત્ન કર્યા.

19 and not having found by what way they may bring him in because of the multitude, having gone up on the house-top, through the tiles they let him down, with the little couch, into the midst before Jesus,પણ ત્યાં લોકોની ભીડ એટલી બધી હતી કે તેઓ તેની પાસે જવાનો માર્ગ કરી શક્યા નહિ. આખરે તેઓ છાપરા પર ચઢી ગયા અને છત પરનું છાપરું ખસેડીને પથારી સાથે જ પક્ષઘાતીને ઈસુની આગળ વચ્ચે ઉતાર્યો.

20 and he having seen their faith, said to him, `Man, thy sins have been forgiven thee.'તેઓનો વિશ્વાસ જોઈને ઈસુએ પક્ષઘાતી રોગીને કહ્યું, “મિત્ર, તારા પાપો માફ કરવામાં આવ્યા છે.

21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, `Who is this that doth speak evil words? who is able to forgive sins, except God only?'ફરોશીઓ અને શાસ્ત્રીઓ પણ અંદરો અંદર વિચાર કરવા લાગ્યા અને કહેવા લાગ્યા, “આ માણસ કોણ છે? આ તે દેવનું અપમાન કહેવાય! પાપમાંથી માફી આપવાનું કામ દેવના સિવાય બીજું કોણ કરી શકે?”

22 And Jesus having known their reasonings, answering, said unto them, `What reason ye in your hearts?પરંતુ ઈસુને ખબર પડી ગઇ કે તેઓ શું વિચારતા હતા, તેણે કહ્યું, “તમારા મનમાં આવા વિચારો કેમ આવે છે?”

23 which is easier -- to say, Thy sins have been forgiven thee? or to say, Arise, and walk?તારા પાપો માફ થયા છે એમ કહેવું અથવા ચાલ ઊભો થા અને તારી પથારી લઈને ચાલતો થા. એ બેમાં કયું સરળ છે, તેનો વિચાર કરો. પરંતુ તમને ખાતરી થાય તે માટે હું સાબિત કરી બતાવીશ કે પૃથ્વી પર માણસના દીકરાને પાપમાંથી માફી આપવાનો અધિકાર છે.

24 `And that ye may know that the Son of Man hath authority upon the earth to forgive sins -- (he said to the one struck with palsy) -- I say to thee, Arise, and having taken up thy little couch, be going on to thy house.'તેથી ઈસુએ પક્ષઘાતી માણસને કહ્યું, “હું તને આજ્ઞા કરું છું ઊઠ! અને તારી પથારી ઊચકીને ઘેર ચાલ્યો જા!”

25 And presently having risen before them, having taken up `that' on which he was lying, he went away to his house, glorifying God,પછી તરત જ તે માણસ બધા લોકોની હાજરીમાં ઊભા થયો. તે જે પથારીમાં સૂતો હતો તે ઉપાડીને દેવની સ્તુતિ કરતો કરતો પોતાને ઘેર ચાલ્યો ગયો.

26 and astonishment took all, and they were glorifying God, and were filled with fear, saying -- `We saw strange things to-day.'બધાજ લોકો અચરત પામી ગયા. તેઓ સ્તુતિ કરવા લાગ્યા. લોકો વિશ્વાસથી નવાઇ પામી દેવના સામથ્યૅ માટે તેઓ ખૂબ માનથી બોલ્યા, “આજે આપણે આજાયબ જેવી વાતો જોઈ છે!”

27 And after these things he went forth, and beheld a tax-gatherer, by name Levi, sitting at the tax-office, and said to him, `Be following me;'આ પ્રસંગ પછી ઈસુ બહાર જતો હતો ત્યારે તેણે લેવી નામના જકાતદારને જકાતનાકામાં બેઠેલો જોયો. તેથી ઈસુએ તેને કહ્યું, “આવ અને મને અનુસર!”

28 and he, having left all, having arisen, did follow him.આ સાંભળીને તરત જ લેવી સર્વસ્વ છોડીને ઈસુને અનુસરવા લાગ્યો.

29 And Levi made a great entertainment to him in his house, and there was a great multitude of tax-gatherers and others who were with them reclining (at meat),અને પછી લેવીએ પોતાના ઘરે ઈસુના માનમાં ભોજનસમારંભનુંઆયોજનકર્યુ. ત્યાં ભોજનસમારંભમાં ઘણા જકાતદારો અને બીજા કેટલાએક લોકો પણ હાજર હતા.

30 and the scribes and the Pharisees among them were murmuring at his disciples, saying, `Wherefore with tax-gatherers and sinners do ye eat and drink?'તે વખતે ફરોશીઓ અને શાસ્ત્રીઆએે તેના શિષ્યોને ફરીયાદ કરી, “તમે શા માટે જકાતદારો અને પાપીઓની સાથે ભોજન કરો છો અને પીઓ છો?”

31 And Jesus answering said unto them, `They who are well have no need of a physician, but they that are ill:ઈસુએ તેઓને પ્રત્યુત્તર આપ્યો, “તંદુરસ્ત માણસોને વૈદની જરૂર પડતી નથી. ફક્ત રોગીઓને જ વૈદની જરૂર પડે છે.

32 I came not to call righteous men, but sinners, to reformation.'હું પ્રામાણિક માણસનો નહિ પરંતુ પાપીઓને તેઓના જીવન અને હ્રદય પરિવર્તન કરવા બોલાવવા આવ્યો છું!”

33 And they said unto him, `Wherefore do the disciples of John fast often, and make supplications -- in like manner also those of the Pharisees -- but thine do eat and drink?'તેઓએ ઈસુને કહ્યું, “યોહાન બાપ્તિસ્તના શિષ્યો વારંવાર ઉપવાસ અને પ્રાર્થના કરે છે, ફરોશીઓના શિષ્યો પણ એમ જ કરે છે. પરંતુ તારા શિષ્યો તો હંમેશા ખાય છે અને પીએ છે.”

34 And he said unto them, `Are ye able to make the sons of the bride-chamber -- in the bridegroom being with them -- to fast?ઈસુએ તેઓને કહ્યું, “જો વરરાજા તેઓની સાથે હોય તો શું વરરાજાની જાનમાં આવેલા જાનૈયાઓ ઉપવાસી રહે તેવું શક્ય છે?

35 but days will come, and, when the bridegroom may be taken away from them, then they shall fast in those days.'પરંતુ એવો સમય આવશે. જ્યારે વરરાજાને તેઓની પાસેથી લઈ લેવામાં આવશે અને તેના મિત્રોને ઉપવાસ કરવો પડશે.”

36 And he spake also a simile unto them -- `No one a patch of new clothing doth put on old clothing, and if otherwise, the new also doth make a rent, and with the old the patch doth not agree, that `is' from the new.ઈસુએ લોકોને આ દષ્ટાંત પણ કહ્યું, “કોઈ પણ વ્યક્તિ પોતાના નવા કોટમાંથી કાપડનો ટૂકડો કાઢીને જૂના કોટને થીંગડુ મારતો નથી. કારણ કે તે જાણે છે કે આમ કરવાથી નવા કોટને નુકશાન થશે અને નવા કોટનું થીંગડુ જૂના કોટના કાપડને મળતું નહિ આવે.

37 `And no one doth put new wine into old skins, and if otherwise, the new wine will burst the skins, and itself will be poured out, and the skins will be destroyed;કોઈ પણ માણસ નવો દ્ધાક્ષારસ જૂના દ્ધાક્ષારસની મશકોમાં ભરતો નથી. કારણ કે નવો દ્ધાક્ષારસ જૂની મશકને ફાડી નાખશે અને તેથી દ્ધાક્ષારસ ઢોળાઇ જશે. દ્ધાક્ષારસની મશકોનો નાશ થશે.

38 but new wine into new skins is to be put, and both are preserved together;લોકો હંમેશા નવો દ્ધાક્ષારસ નવી મશકોમાં જ ભરે છે.

39 and no one having drunk old `wine', doth immediately wish new, for he saith, The old is better.'જે કોઈ જૂના દ્ધાક્ષારસનું પાન કરે છે તેઓ કદાપિ નવો દ્ધાક્ષારસ માગતા નથી. તે કહે છે, “જૂનો દ્ધાક્ષારસ જ સારો છે.”
