34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.

35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.

36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

37 And in the day time he was teaching in the temple; and at night he went out, and abode in the mount that is called the mount of Olives.

34 “સાવધાન રહો! તમારો સમય ખાવા પીવામાં બગાડો નહિ અથવા દુન્યવી વસ્તુઓની ચિંતા ના કરો. જો તમે એમ કરશો તો તમે સાચો વિચાર કરી શકશો નહિ. અને પછી જો એકાએક અંત આવી પહોંચશે ત્યારે તમે તૈયાર નહિ હોય.

35 પૃથ્વી પરના તમામ લોકો માટે તે આશ્ચર્યજનક રીતે આવશે.

36 તેથી હર વખત તૈયાર રહો. અને પ્રાર્થના કરો કે આ બધું જે થવાનું છે તેમાંથી તમારી જાતને સુરક્ષિત રીતે પસાર થવા તથા માણસના દીકરા સમક્ષ ઊભા રહેવાને તમે પ્રબળ થાઓ.”
