પણ માળીએ ઉત્તર આપ્યો, સાહેબ વૃક્ષને ફળ આવવા માટે એક વર્ષ વધારે રહેવા દો. મને તેની આજુબાજુ ખોદવા દો અને છોડને ખાતર નાખવા દો.

ஆனால் கர்த்தர் மோசேயிடமும் ஆரோனிடமும், “அனைத்து இஸ்ரவேல் ஜனங்களும் இங்கே கூடியுள்ளனர். ஆனால் நீங்கள் என்னை கனப்படுத்தவில்லை. தண்ணீரை பெறும் வல்லமை என்னிடமிருந்து வந்ததை நீங்கள் ஜனங்களுக்கு காண்பிக்கவில்லை. நீங்கள் என்னில் நம்பிக்கை வைத்திருக்கிறீர்கள் என்பதையும் ஜனங்களிடம் காட்டவில்லை. ஆகையால் நான் அவர்களுக்கு கொடுக்கப்போகும் தேசத்திற்குள் நீங்கள் ஜனங்களை அழைத்துக்கொண்டு செல்லமாட்டீர்கள்!” என்றார்.
