આથી ફરીથી યહોવાનો કોપ ઈસ્રાએલીઓ ઉપર ભભૂકી ઊઠતો, તે કહેતા, “આ પ્રજાએ મેં એમના પિતૃઓને પાળવા કહેલા કરારનો ભંગ કર્યો છે. મેં કરેલી આજ્ઞાઓનું પાલન તેમણે કર્યું નથી.
