Joshua 7:5
પરંતુ આ હુમલા દરમ્યાન ઇસ્રાએલના 36 માંણસો માંર્યા ગયા; અને બાકીનાને નગરના દરવાજાથી તે છેક (શબારીમ) પથ્થરની ખાણોસુધી પીછો કરવામાં આવ્યો અને ઢોળાવ પર તેઓને માંરી નાખવામાં આવ્યાં.આથી ઇસ્રાએલીઓએ તેમની હિમ્મત ગુમાંવી દીધી અને તેઓ ભયભીત થઈ ગયા.

| before from them | וַֽיִּרְדְּפ֞וּם | wayyirdĕpûm | va-yeer-deh-FOOM |
| the gate | לִפְנֵ֤י | lipnê | leef-NAY |
| unto even | הַשַּׁ֙עַר֙ | haššaʿar | ha-SHA-AR |
| Shebarim, | עַד | ʿad | ad |
| and smote | הַשְּׁבָרִ֔ים | haššĕbārîm | ha-sheh-va-REEM |
| down: going the in them | וַיַּכּ֖וּם | wayyakkûm | va-YA-koom |
| hearts the wherefore | בַּמּוֹרָ֑ד | bammôrād | ba-moh-RAHD |
| of the people | וַיִּמַּ֥ס | wayyimmas | va-yee-MAHS |
| melted, | לְבַב | lĕbab | leh-VAHV |
| and became | הָעָ֖ם | hāʿām | ha-AM |
| as water. | וַיְהִ֥י | wayhî | vai-HEE |
| לְמָֽיִם׃ | lĕmāyim | leh-MA-yeem |
