John 9 - YLT (Gujarati)

1 And passing by, he saw a man blind from birth,ઈસુ જ્યારે ચાલતો હતો ત્યારે, તેણે એક આંધળા માણસને જોયો. આ માણસ જન્મથી આંધળો હતો.

2 and his disciples asked him, saying, `Rabbi, who did sin, this one or his parents, that he should be born blind?'ઈસુના શિષ્યોએ પૂછયું, “રાબ્બી, આ માણસ જન્મથી જ આંધળો છે. પરંતુ કોના પાપથી તે આંધળો જનમ્યો? તેના પોતાના પાપે, કે તેના માબાપના પાપે?”

3 Jesus answered, `Neither did this one sin nor his parents, but that the works of God may be manifested in him;ઈસુએ ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “તે આ માણસનાં પાપ કે તેનાં માતાપિતાનાં પાપોથી આંધળો થયો નથી. આ માણસ આંધળો જન્મ્યો છે જેથી કરીને જ્યારે હું તેને સાજો કરું ત્યારે દેવનું સાર્મથ્ય લોકોને પ્રગટ કરાવી શકાય.

4 it behoveth me to be working the works of Him who sent me while it is day; night doth come, when no one is able to work: --જ્યારે હજુ પણ દિવસનો સમય છે, ત્યારે જેણે મને મોકલ્યો છે તેનાં કામ કરવાં જોઈએ. જ્યારે રાત હોય છે ત્યારે રાત્રે કોઈ માણસ કામ કરી શકતો નથી.

5 when I am in the world, I am a light of the world.'જ્યારે હું જગતમાં છું, હું જગતનો પ્રકાશ છું.”

6 These things saying, he spat on the ground, and made clay of the spittle, and rubbed the clay on the eyes of the blind man, and said to him,ઈસુએ આમ કહ્યાં પછી, ઈસુ ધૂળ પર થૂંકયો તે સાથે થોડો કાદવ બનાવ્યો. ઈસુએ તે માણસની આંખો પર કાદવ મૂક્યો.

7 `Go away, wash at the pool of Siloam,' which is, interpreted, Sent. He went away, therefore, and did wash, and came seeing;ઈસુએ તે માણસને કહ્યું, “જા અને શિલોઆહના કુંડમાં ધોઈ નાખ.” (શિલોઆહ અર્થાત “મોકલેલા.”) તેથી તે માણસ કુંડ તરફ ગયો. તે આંખો ધોઈને પાછો આવ્યો. હવે તે જોઈ શકતો હતો.

8 the neighbours, therefore, and those seeing him before, that he was blind, said, `Is not this he who is sitting and begging?'કેટલાક માણસોએ આ માણસને પહેલા ભીખ માગતો જોયો હતો. આ લોકોએ અને તે માણસના પડોશીઓએ કહ્યું, “જુઓ! આ એ જ માણસ છે જે હંમેશા બેસીને ભીખ માગતો હતો.”

9 others said -- `This is he;' and others -- `He is like to him;' he himself said, -- `I am `he'.'કેટલાક લોકોએ કહ્યું, “હા! તે એ જ માણસ છે,” પણ બીજા લોકોએ કહ્યું, “ના, તે એ જ માણસ નથી. તે ફક્ત તેના જેવો દેખાય છે.” તેથી તે માણસે પોતે કહ્યું કે, “હું એ જ માણસ છું જે પહેલાં આંધળો હતો.”

10 They said, therefore, to him, `How were thine eyes opened?'લોકોએ પૂછયું, “શું બન્યું? તેં તારી દષ્ટિ કેવી રીતે મેળવી?”

11 he answered and said, `A man called Jesus made clay, and rubbed my eyes, and said to me, Go away to the pool of Siloam, and wash; and having gone away and having washed, I received sight;'તે માણસે ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “તે માણસ જેને લોકો ઈસુ કહે છે તેણે થોડો કાદવ બનાવ્યો. તેણે તે કાદવ મારી આંખો પર મૂક્યો. પછી મને શિલોઆહ કુંડમાં ધોવા જવા કહ્યું, તેથી હું શિલોઆહ કુંડમાં જઈને ધોયા પછી દેખતો થયો.”

12 they said, therefore, to him, `Where is that one?' he saith, `I have not known.'લોકોએ તે માણસને પૂછયું, “આ માણસ (ઈસુ) ક્યાં છે?” તે માણસે ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “હું જાણતો નથી.”

13 They bring him to the Pharisees who once `was' blind,પછી લોકો તે માણસને ફરોશીઓ પાસે લાવ્યા જે આંધળો હતો.

14 and it was a sabbath when Jesus made the clay, and opened his eyes.ઈસુએ કાદવ બનાવીને તે માણસની આંખો સાજી કરી. જે દિવસે ઈસુએ આ કર્યું તે વિશ્રામવાર હતો.

15 Again, therefore, the Pharisees also were asking him how he received sight, and he said to them, `Clay he did put upon my eyes, and I did wash -- and I see.'તેથી હવે ફરોશીઓએ તે માણસને પૂછયું, ‘તેં તારી દષ્ટિ કેવી રીતે મેળવી?’તે માણસે ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “તેણે મારી આંખો પર કાદવ મૂક્યો. મેં આંખો ધોઈ, અને હવે હું જોઈ શકું છું.”

16 Of the Pharisees, therefore, certain said, `This man is not from God, because the sabbath he doth not keep;' others said, `How is a man -- a sinful one -- able to do such signs?' and there was a division among them.કેટલાક ફરોશીઓએ કહ્યું, “આ માણસ (ઈસુ) વિશ્રામવારના નિયમનું પાલન કરતો નથી. તેથી તે દેવ પાસેથી આવ્યો નથી.”બીજાઓએ કહ્યું, “પરંતુ એક માણસ કે જે પાપી છે તે આવા ચમત્કારો કરી શકે નહિ.” આ લોકો એકબીજા સાથે સંમત થઈ શક્યા નહિ.

17 They said to the blind man again, `Thou -- what dost thou say of him -- that he opened thine eyes?'યહૂદિ અધિકારીઓએ તે માણસને ફરીથી પૂછયું,“આ માણસે (ઈસુ) તને સાજો કર્યો, અને તું જોઈ શકે છે. તું એના વિષે શું કહે છે?”તે માણસે ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “તે એક પ્રબોધક છે.”

18 and he said -- `He is a prophet.' The Jews, therefore, did not believe concerning him that he was blind and did receive sight, till that they called the parents of him who received sight,યહૂદિઓ હજુ પણ માનવા તૈયાર નથી કે ખરેખર તે આ માણસ સાથે આ બન્યું છે. તે તેઓ માનવા તૈયાર નહોતા કે આ માણસ આંધળો હતો અને હવે તે સાજો થયો છે. પણ પાછળથી તેઓએ તે માણસના માતા-પિતાને તેડાવ્યા.

19 and they asked them, saying, `Is your son, of whom ye say that he was born blind? how then now doth he see?'તે યહૂદિઓએ તેના માતા-પિતાને પૂછયું, “શું આ તમારો દીકરો છે? તમે કહો કે તે આંધળો જનમ્યો હતો. તો હવે એ શી રીતે દેખતો થયો છે?”

20 His parents answered them and said, `We have known that this is our son, and that he was born blind;માતાપિતાએ ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “અમે જાણીએ છીએ કે આ માણસ અમારો દીકરો છે અને અમે જાણીએ છીએ કે તે આંધળો જનમ્યો હતો.

21 and how he now seeth, we have not known; or who opened his eyes, we have not known; himself is of age, ask him; he himself shall speak concerning himself.'પણ અમે જાણતા નથી કે હવે તે શી રીતે જોઈ શકે છે. અમે જાણતાં નથી તેની આંખો કોણે સાજી કરી. તેને પૂછો, એ પુખ્ત ઉમરનો છે અને તે તેની જાત માટે બોલશે.”

22 These things said his parents, because they were afraid of the Jews, for already had the Jews agreed together, that if any one may confess him -- Christ, he may be put out of the synagogue;તેના મા બાપે આ કહ્યું, કારણ કે તેઓ યહૂદિ અધિકારીઓથી ડરતા હતા. માટે તેઓએ એમ કહ્યું, કારણ કે યહૂદિઓએ અગાઉથી એવો ઠરાવ કર્યો હતો કે ઈસુ એ જ ખ્રિસ્ત એવું જો કોઈ કબૂલ કરે, તો તેને સભાસ્થાનમાંથી કાઢી મૂકવો.

23 because of this his parents said -- `He is of age, ask him.'તેના કારણે તેના મા બાપે કહ્યું હતું કે તે પુખ્ત ઉંમરનો છે. તેને પોતાને પૂછો.

24 They called, therefore, a second time the man who was blind, and they said to him, `Give glory to God, we have known that this man is a sinner;'તેથી યહૂદિ અધિકારીઓએ જે આંધળો હતો તે માણસને બોલાવ્યો, તેઓએ તે માણસને ફરીથી અંદર આવવા કહ્યું, યહૂદિ અધિકારીઓએ કહ્યું, “તારે સત્ય કહીને દેવનો મહિમા કરવો જોઈએ. અમે જાણીએ છીએ કે આ માણસ (ઈસુ) એક પાપી છે.”

25 he answered, therefore, and said, `If he be a sinner -- I have not known, one thing I have known, that, being blind, now I see.'તે માણસે ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “જો તે પાપી હોય તો હું જાણતો નથી. હું એક વાત જાણું છું કે, હું આંધળો હતો અને હવે હું જોઈ શકું છું.”

26 And they said to him again, `What did he to thee? how did he open thine eyes?'યહૂદિ અધિકારીઓએ પૂછયું, “તેણે (ઈસુએ) તને શું કહ્યું? તેણે તારી આંખો કેવી રીતે સાજી કરી?”

27 He answered them, `I told you already, and ye did not hear; why again do ye wish to hear? do ye also wish to become his disciples?'માણસે ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “મેં હમણાં જ તમને તે કહ્યું હતું. પણ તમે મને ધ્યાનથી સાંભળ્યો નથી. તમે શા માટે તે ફરીથી સાંભળવા ઈચ્છો છો? શું તમે પણ તેના શિષ્યો થવા ઈચ્છો છો?”

28 They reviled him, therefore, and said, `Thou art his disciple, and we are Moses' disciples;યહૂદિ અધિકારીઓ ગુસ્સે થયા અને તે માણસની નિંદા કરીને પછી તેઓએ કહ્યું, “તું તે માણસ (ઈસુ) નો શિષ્ય છે. અમે મૂસાના શિષ્યો છીએ.

29 we have known that God hath spoken to Moses, but this one -- we have not known whence he is.'અમે જાણીએ છીએ કે દેવ મૂસા સાથે બોલ્યો, પરંતુ અમે એ પણ જાણતા નથી કે એ માણસ (ઈસુ) કયાંથી આવે છે!”

30 The man answered and said to them, `Why, in this is a wonderful thing, that ye have not known whence he is, and he opened my eyes!તે માણસે ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “આ એક ઘણી અજાયબ વસ્તુ છે. તમે જાણતા નથી કે ઈસુ ક્યાંથી આવે છે. છતાં તેણે મારી આંખો સાજી કરી છે.

31 and we have known that God doth not hear sinners, but, if any one may be a worshipper of God, and may do His will, him He doth hear;આપણે બધા જાણીએ છીએ કે દેવ પાપીઓને ધ્યાનથી સાંભળતો નથી. પરંતુ દેવ તે વ્યક્તિને ધ્યાનથી સાંભળશે જે તેની ભક્તિ કરતો હોય અને તેની ઈચ્છા પ્રમાણે કરતો હોય.

32 from the age it was not heard, that any one did open eyes of one who hath been born blind;જ્યારથી દુનિયાનો આરંભ થયો ત્યાર પછીનો આ એક પ્રથમ પ્રસંગ છે કે કોઈ વ્યક્તિએ જન્મથી આંધળા માણસને સાજો કર્યો હોય.

33 if this one were not from God, he were not able to do anything.'આ માણસ (ઈસુ) દેવથી હોવા જોઈએ, જો તે દેવથી ના હોત તો તે આવું કશું કરી શકત નહિ.”

34 They answered and said to him, `In sins thou wast born altogether, and thou dost teach us!' and they cast him forth without.યહૂદિ અધિકારીઓએ ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “તું તો ભરપૂર પાપોમાં જનમ્યો છે! શું તું અમને ઉપદેશ આપવાનો પ્રયત્ન કરે છે?” અને યહૂદિ અધિકારીઓએ તે માણસને કાઢી મૂક્યો.

35 Jesus heard that they cast him forth without, and having found him, he said to him, `Dost thou believe in the Son of God?'ઈસુએ સાંભળ્યું કે યહૂદિ અધિકારીઓએ તે માણસને કાઢી મૂક્યો છે. ઈસુએ તે માણસને શોધ્યો અને કહ્યું, શું તું માણસના દીકરામાં વિશ્વાસ કરે છે?”

36 he answered and said, `Who is he, sir, that I may believe in him?'તે માણસે પૂછયું, “સાહેબ, માણસનો દીકરો કોણ છે? મને કહે, તેથી હું તેના પર વિશ્વાસ મૂકી શકું!”

37 And Jesus said to him, `Thou hast both seen him, and he who is speaking with thee is he;'ઈસુએ તેને કહ્યું, “તેં તેને હમણા જ જોયો છે અને જે તારી સાથે વાત કરે છે તે માણસનો દીકરો છે.”

38 and he said, `I believe, sir,' and bowed before him.તે માણસે ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “હા પ્રભુ! મને વિશ્વાસ છે,” પછી તે માણસે નમન કરીને ઈસુનું ભજન કર્યુ.

39 And Jesus said, `For judgment I to this world did come, that those not seeing may see, and those seeing may become blind.'ઈસુએ કહ્યું, “હું આ જગતમાં આવ્યો છું, જેથી કરીને જગતનો ન્યાય થઈ શકે. હું આવ્યો છું જેથી આંધળા લોકો જોઈ શકે અને હું આવ્યો છું, જેથી કરીને લોકો ધારે છે કે તેઓ જોઈ શકે છે તેઓ આંધળા થાય.”

40 And those of the Pharisees who were with him heard these things, and they said to him, `Are we also blind?'કેટલાક ફરોશીઓ ઈસુની નજીક હતા. તેઓએ ઈસુને આ કહેતા સાંભળ્યો. તેઓએ પૂછયું, “શું? તું એમ કહે છે કે અમે પણ આંધળા છીએ?”

41 Jesus said to them, `If ye were blind, ye were not having had sin, but now ye say -- We see, therefore doth your sin remain.ઈસુએ કહ્યું, “જો તમે ખરેખર આંધળા હોત તો તમને પાપનો દોષ ન લાગત, પણ તમે કહો છો કે તમે જુઓ છો તેથી તમે દોષિત છો.”
