John 6 - YLT (Gujarati)

1 After these things Jesus went away beyond the sea of Galilee (of Tiberias),એ પછી ઈસુ ગાલીલના સમુદ્રને પાર ગયો (તિબેરિયાસ સરોવર).

2 and there was following him a great multitude, because they were seeing his signs that he was doing on the ailing;ઘણા લોકો ઈસુને અનુસર્યા. તેઓ તેની પાછળ ગયા કારણ કે ઈસુએ જે રીતે ચમત્કારો કરીને માંદાઓને સાજા કર્યા તે તેઓએ જોયું.

3 and Jesus went up to the mount, and he was there sitting with his disciples,ઈસુ ટેકરીની તરફ ગયો. ત્યાં તે પોતાના શિષ્યો સાથે બેઠો.

4 and the passover was nigh, the feast of the Jews.હવે લગભગ યહૂદિઓના પાસ્ખાપર્વનો સમય નજીક હતો.

5 Jesus then having lifted up `his' eyes and having seen that a great multitude doth come to him, saith unto Philip, `Whence shall we buy loaves, that these may eat?' --ઈસુએ ઊંચે જોયું તો ઘણા લોકો તેના તરફ આવતા હતા. ઈસુએ ફિલિપને કહ્યું, “આ બધા લોકોને ખાવા માટે પૂરતી રોટલી આપણે ક્યાંથી ખરીદીએ?”

6 and this he said, trying him, for he himself had known what he was about to do.(ઈસુએ ફિલિપને પારખવા સારું આ પ્રશ્ન કર્યો, કારણ કે તે શું કરવાનો હતો તે જાણતો હતો).

7 Philip answered him, `Two hundred denaries' worth of loaves are not sufficient to them, that each of them may receive some little;'ફિલિપે ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “અહીના દરેક વ્યક્તિને એક રોટલીનો નાનો ટુકડો મળે તે માટે પૂરતી રોટલીઓ ખરીદવા માટે આપણે બધાએ એક માસ કામ કરવાની જરૂર છે.

8 one of his disciples -- Andrew, the brother of Simon Peter -- saith to him,બીજો એક શિષ્ય આન્દ્રિયા ત્યાં હતો. આન્દ્રિયા સિમોન પિતરનો ભાઈ હતો. આન્દ્રિયાએ કહ્યું,

9 `There is one little lad here who hath five barley loaves, and two fishes, but these -- what are they to so many?'“અહીં એક છોકરો છે જેની પાસે જવની પાંચ રોટલીઓ અને બે માછલી છે. પરંતુ તે આટલા બધા લોકો માટે પૂરતી નથી.”

10 And Jesus said, `Make the men to sit down;' and there was much grass in the place, the men then sat down, in number, as it were, five thousand,ઈસુએ કહ્યું, “લોકોને બેસી જવા માટે કહો.” આ ઘણી ઘાસવાળી જગ્યા હતી. ત્યાં લગભગ 5,000 માણસો બેઠા હતા.

11 and Jesus took the loaves, and having given thanks he distributed to the disciples, and the disciples to those reclining, in like manner, also of the little fishes as much as they wished.પછી ઈસુએ રોટલીના ટુકડાઓ લીધા. ઈસુએ રોટલી માટે દેવનો આભાર માન્યો અને ત્યાં નીચે બેઠેલા લોકોને તે આપ્યા. તેણે માછલીનું પણ તેમ જ કર્યુ. ઈસુએ તેઓને જેટલું જોઈતું હતું તેટલું લોકોને આપ્યું.

12 And when they were filled, he saith to his disciples, `Gather together the broken pieces that are over, that nothing may be lost;'બધા લોકો પાસે પૂરતું ખાવાનું હતું. જ્યારે તેઓએ ખાવાનું પૂરું કર્યુ, ઈસુએ તેના શિષ્યોને કહ્યું, “જે છાંડેલાં માછલી અને રોટલીના ટુકડાઓ છે તે ભેગા કરો. કઈ પણ બગડવા દેશો નહિ.”

13 they gathered together, therefore, and filled twelve hand-baskets with broken pieces, from the five barley loaves that were over to those having eaten.તેથી શિષ્યોએ છાંડેલા ટુકડા ભેગા કર્યા. તે લોકોએ ફક્ત પાંચ જવની રોટલીમાંના ટુકડાથી જમવાનું શરું કર્યુ હતુ. પરંતુ ખોરાકના છાંડેલા ટુકડાઓમાંથી શિષ્યોએ બાર મોટી ટોપલીએ ભરી.

14 The men, then, having seen the sign that Jesus did, said -- `This is truly the Prophet, who is coming to the world;'લોકોએ ઈસુએ કરેલો આ ચમત્કાર જોયો. લોકોએ કહ્યું, “ખરેખર તે પ્રબોધક હોવો જોઈએ. જે જગતમાં આવનાર છે.”

15 Jesus, therefore, having known that they are about to come, and to take him by force that they may make him king, retired again to the mountain himself alone.ઈસુએ જાણ્યું કે લોકો તેને રાજા બનાવવા ઈચ્છતા હતા. લોકોએ ઈસુને પકડવા માટે આવવાની અને તેને તેઓને રાજા બનાવવાની યોજના કરી. તેથી ઈસુ તેઓને છોડીને પહાડ પર ફરીથી એકલો ગયો.

16 And when evening came, his disciples went down to the sea,તે સાંજે ઈસુના શિષ્યો સરોવર (ગાલીલ સરોવર) તરફ નીચે ગયા.

17 and having entered into the boat, they were going over the sea to Capernaum, and darkness had already come, and Jesus had not come unto them,હવે અંધારું થયું હતું અને હજુ ઈસુ તેઓની પાસે પાછો આવ્યો ન હતો. શિષ્યો હોડીમાં બેઠા અને કફરનહૂમ તરફ બીજી બાજુ જવાનું શરું કર્યુ.

18 the sea also -- a great wind blowing -- was being raised,પવન ઘણો સખત ફૂંકાતો હતો. સાગર પરનાં મોજાં મોટાં થતાં જતાં હતાં.

19 having pushed onwards, therefore, about twenty-five or thirty furlongs, they behold Jesus walking on the sea, and coming nigh to the boat, and they were afraid;તેઓએ ત્રણથી ચાર માઈલ હોડી હંકારી પછી તેઓએ ઈસુને જોયો. તે પાણી પર ચાલતો ચાલતો હોડી તરફ આવતો હતો. શિષ્યો બીતા હતા.

20 and he saith to them, `I am `he', be not afraid;'પણ ઈસુએ તેઓને કહ્યું, “ગભરાશો નહિ. તે હું જ છું.”

21 they were willing then to receive him into the boat, and immediately the boat came unto the land to which they were going.ઈસુએ આમ કહ્યા પછી, શિષ્યો ઈસુને હોડીમાં લઈને ખુશ થયા. પછી તે હોડી તેઓ જે જગ્યાએ જવા ઈચ્છતા હતા ત્યાં આવી પહોંચી.

22 On the morrow, the multitude that was standing on the other side of the sea, having seen that there was no other little boat there except one -- that into which his disciples entered -- and that Jesus went not in with his disciples into the little boat, but his disciples went away alone,બીજો દિવસ આવ્યો, કેટલાક લોકો સમુદ્રની બીજી બાજુએ રહ્યા. આ લોકોએ જાણ્યું કે ઈસુ તેના શિષ્યો સાથે હોડીમાં ગયો નહિ. લોકોએ જાણ્યું કે ઈસુના શિષ્યો હોડીમાં એકલા હતા અને તેઓએ જાણ્યું કે ત્યાં એક જ હોડી હતી.

23 (and other little boats came from Tiberias, nigh the place where they did eat the bread, the Lord having given thanks),પણ પછી તિબેરિયાસથી કેટલીક હોડીઓ આવી. આગલા દિવસે લોકોએ જ્યાં ભોજન કર્યુ હતું તે સ્થળની નજીક હોડીઓ આવી. પ્રભુ (ઈસુ) નો આભાર માન્યા પછી તેઓએ રોટલી ખાધી હતી તે આ જ જગ્યા હતી.

24 when therefore the multitude saw that Jesus is not there, nor his disciples, they also themselves did enter into the boats, and came to Capernaum seeking Jesus;લોકોએ જોયું કે ઈસુ અને તેના શિષ્યો હવે ત્યાં ન હતા. તેથી લોકો હોડીઓમાં બેસી ગયા અને કફર-નહૂમ ગયા. તેઓની ઈચ્છા ઈસુને શોધવાની હતી.

25 and having found him on the other side of the sea, they said to him, `Rabbi, when hast thou come hither?'લોકોએ ઈસુને સમુદ્રની બીજી બાજુએ જોયો. તેઓએ ઈસુને પૂછયું, “રાબ્બી, તું ક્યારે અહીં આવ્યો?”

26 Jesus answered them and said, `Verily, verily, I say to you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw signs, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were satisfied;ઈસુએ ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “તમે શા માટે મને શોધો છો? તમે મને શોધી રહ્યા છો કારણ કે તમે મારી શક્તિના અદભૂત કાર્યો જોયા છે. જે મારી સત્તાની સાબિતી છે. ના! હું તમને સાચું કહું છું. તમે મને શોધતા હતા. કારણ કે તમે રોટલી ખાઈને તૃપ્ત થયા હતા.

27 work not for the food that is perishing, but for the food that is remaining to life age-during, which the Son of Man will give to you, for him did the Father seal -- `even' God.'ભૌતિક ભોજન નાશવંત છે. તેથી તે પ્રકારનું ભોજન મેળવવા માટે કામ ન કરો. પરંતુ જે તમને અનંતજીવન આપે છે અને હમેશા સારું છે તે ભોજન મેળવવા કામ કરો. માણસનો દીકરો તમને તે ભોજન આપશે. દેવ પિતાએ બતાવ્યું છે કે તે માણસના દીકરા સાથે છે.”

28 They said therefore unto him, `What may we do that we may work the works of God?'લોકોએ ઈસુને પૂછયું, “દેવ આપણી પાસે કેવાં કામો કરાવવા માટે ઈચ્છે છે?”

29 Jesus answered and said to them, `This is the work of God, that ye may believe in him whom He did send.'ઈસુએ ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “દેવ જે કામ ઈચ્છે છે તે આ છે: દેવે જેને મોકલ્યો છે તેનામાં તમે વિશ્વાસ કરો.”

30 They said therefore to him, `What sign, then, dost thou, that we may see and may believe thee? what dost thou work?તેથી તે લોકોએ પૂછયું, “તું દેવે મોકલેલો છે તે સાબિત કરવા તું કેવા ચમત્કારો કરીશ? જ્યારે અમે તને ચમત્કાર કરતાં જોઈશું પછી વિશ્વાસ કરીશું. તું શું કરીશ?

31 our fathers the manna did eat in the wilderness, according as it is having been written, Bread out of the heaven He gave them to eat.'અમારા (પૂર્વજો) એ રણમાં આપેલ માન્ના ખાધું. આ શાસ્ત્રમાં લખેલું છે. ‘દેવે તેઓને આકાશમાંથી રોટલી ખાવા માટે આપી.”‘

32 Jesus, therefore, said to them, `Verily, verily, I say to you, Moses did not give you the bread out of the heaven; but my Father doth give you the true bread out of the heaven;ઈસુએ કહ્યું, “હું તમને સત્ય કહું છું, મૂસાએ તમારા લોકોને આકાશમાંથી રોટલી આપી ન હતી. પરંતુ મારા પિતા તમને આકાશમાંથી સાચી રોટલી આપે છે.

33 for the bread of God is that which is coming down out of the heaven, and giving life to the world.'દેવની રોટલી શું છે? આકાશમાંથી જે રોટલી નીચે આવે છે તે દેવની છે, અને તે જગતને જીવન આપે છે.”

34 They said, therefore, unto him, `Sir, always give us this bread.'તે લોકોએ કહ્યું, “પ્રભુ, આ રોટલી અમને સદા આપો.”

35 And Jesus said to them, `I am the bread of the life; he who is coming unto me may not hunger, and he who is believing in me may not thirst -- at any time;પછી ઈસુએ કહ્યું, “જે જીવન આપે છે તે રોટલી હું છું. જે વ્યક્તિ મારી પાસે આવે છે તે કદાપિ ભૂખે મરશે નહિ. જે વ્યક્તિ મારામાં વિશ્વાસ રાખે છે તેને કદાપિ તરસ લાગશે નહિ.

36 but I said to you, that ye also have seen me, and ye believe not;મે તમને અગાઉ કહ્યું છે કે તમે મને જોયો છે અને છતાં તમે વિશ્વાસ કરતા નથી.

37 all that the Father doth give to me will come unto me; and him who is coming unto me, I may in no wise cast without,મને લોકો આપે છે અને તે લોકોમાંના બધા જ મારી પાસે આવશે. મારી પાસે જે દરેક વ્યક્તિ આવશે તેનો હું હમેશા સ્વીકાર કરીશ.

38 because I have come down out of the heaven, not that I may do my will, but the will of Him who sent me.દેવ મારી પાસે જે કરાવવા ઈચ્છે છે તે કરવા માટે હું આકાશમાંથી નીચે આવ્યો છું. હું મારી ઈચ્છાથી કઈ કરવા માટે આવ્યો નથી.

39 `And this is the will of the Father who sent me, that all that He hath given to me I may not lose of it, but may raise it up in the last day;દેવે મને જે કઈ આપ્યું છે તેમાંથી કશું ગુમાવીશ નહિ. પણ છેલ્લા દિવસે તે લોકોને હું પાછા ઉઠાડીશ. જેણે મને મોકલ્યો છે અને મારી પાસે જે કઈ કરાવવાની ઈચ્છા છે તે આ છે.

40 and this is the will of Him who sent me, that every one who is beholding the Son, and is believing in him, may have life age-during, and I will raise him up in the last day.'વ્યક્તિ જે દીકરાને જુએ છે, અને તેનામાં વિશ્વાસ મૂકે છે. તેને અનંતજીવન મળે છે. હું તે વ્યક્તિને છેલ્લા દિવસે ઉઠાડીશ. એ મારા પિતાની ઈચ્છા છે.”

41 The Jews, therefore, were murmuring at him, because he said, `I am the bread that came down out of the heaven;'યહૂદિઓએ ઈસુ વિષે ફરિયાદો શરું કરી. કારણ કે ઈસુએ કહ્યું હતું કે, “હું આકાશમાંથી નીચે ઉતરેલી રોટલી છું.”

42 and they said, `Is not this Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we have known? how then saith this one -- Out of the heaven I have come down?'યહૂદિઓએ કહ્યું, “આ ઈસુ છે. અમે તેના માતાપિતાને ઓળખીએ છે. ઈસુ, યૂસફનો દીકરો છે. તે કેવી રીતે કહી શકે કે, ‘હું આકાશમાંથી નીચે આવ્યો છું?”

43 Jesus answered, therefore, and said to them, `Murmur not one with another;પણ ઈસુએ કહ્યું, “તમે માંહોમાંહે ફરિયાદો કરવાનું બંધ કરો.

44 no one is able to come unto me, if the Father who sent me may not draw him, and I will raise him up in the last day;તે પિતા એ જ મને મોકલ્યો છે. અને તે જ પિતા લોકોને મારી પાસે લાવે છે. હું તે લોકોને છેલ્લા દિવસે પાછા ઊઠાડીશ. જો પિતા વ્યક્તિને મારી પાસે લાવતા નથી, તો પછી તે વ્યક્તિ મારી પાસે આવી શક્તી નથી.

45 it is having been written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God; every one therefore who heard from the Father, and learned, cometh to me;પ્રબોધકોનાં પુસ્તકોમાં આ લખેલું છે. ‘દેવ બધા લોકોને ઉપદેશ આપશે.’ લોકો પિતાને ધ્યાનથી સાંભળે છે અને તેની પાસેથી શીખે છે. તે લોકો મારી પાસે આવે છે.

46 not that any one hath seen the Father, except he who is from God, he hath seen the Father.હું સમજતો નથી કે કોઈએ પિતાને જોયો હોય. ફક્ત જે દેવ પાસેથી આવ્યો છે તેણે જ પિતાને જોયો છે.

47 `Verily, verily, I say to you, He who is believing in me, hath life age-during;હું તમને સાચું કહું છું, જો કોઈ વ્યક્તિ વિશ્વાસ કરે છે તો તેને અનંતજીવન છે.

48 I am the bread of the life;હું રોટલી છું જે જીવન આપે છે.

49 your fathers did eat the manna in the wilderness, and they died;તમારા પૂર્વજો માન્ના (અન્ન) ખાધું છે, જે દેવે તેઓને રણમાં આપ્યું હતું. પણ બધા લોકોની જેમ તેઓ મૃત્યુ પામ્યા.

50 this is the bread that out of the heaven is coming down, that any one may eat of it, and not die.હું એ રોટલી છું જે આકાશમાંથી ઉતરે છે. જો કોઈ વ્યક્તિ આ રોટલી ખાય છે તે કદાપિ મૃત્યુ પામશે નહિ.

51 `I am the living bread that came down out of the heaven; if any one may eat of this bread he shall live -- to the age; and the bread also that I will give is my flesh, that I will give for the life of the world.'હું જીવતી રોટલી છું જે આકાશમાંથી ઉતરી છે, જો કોઈ વ્યક્તિ આ રોટલી ખાય તો તે અનંતજીવન પ્રાપ્ત કરે છે. આ રોટલી મારું શરીર છે. હું મારું શરીર આપીશ જેથી જગતમાંના લોકો જીવન પ્રાપ્ત કરી શકે.”

52 The Jews, therefore, were striving with one another, saying, `How is this one able to give us `his' flesh to eat?'પછી યહૂદિઓ અંદરો અંદર દલીલો કરવા લાગ્યા. તેઓએ કહ્યું, “આ માણસ આપણને તેનું શરીર ખાવા માટે કેવી રીતે આપી શકે?”

53 Jesus, therefore, said to them, `Verily, verily, I say to you, If ye may not eat the flesh of the Son of Man, and may not drink his blood, ye have no life in yourselves;ઈસુએ કહ્યું, “હું તમને સત્ય કહું છું, તમારે માણસના દીકરાનું શરીર ખાવું જોઈએ અને તેનું લોહી પીવું જોઈએ. જો તમે આ નહિ કરો, તો પછી તમારામાં સાચું જીવન હશે નહિ.

54 he who is eating my flesh, and is drinking my blood, hath life age-during, and I will raise him up in the last day;જે વ્યક્તિ મારું માંસ ખાય છે અને મારું લોહી પીએ છે તેને અનંતજીવન છે. છેલ્લે દિવસે હું તે વ્યક્તિને ફરીથી ઊઠાડીશ.

55 for my flesh truly is food, and my blood truly is drink;મારું શરીર સાચું ભોજન છે. મારું લોહી ખરેખર પીવાનું છે.

56 he who is eating my flesh, and is drinking my blood, doth remain in me, and I in him.જો કોઈ વ્યક્તિ મારું માંસ ખાય છે અને મારું લોહી પીએ છે તે પછી તે વ્યક્તિ મારામાં રહે છે અને હું તે વ્યક્તિમાં રહું છું.

57 `According as the living Father sent me, and I live because of the Father, he also who is eating me, even that one shall live because of me;પિતાએ મને મોકલ્યો છે. તે પિતા જીવે છે, અને હું જીવું છું તે કારણે જ જે વ્યક્તિ મને ખાય છે તે પણ મારા કારણે જ જીવશે.

58 this is the bread that came down out of the heaven; not as your fathers did eat the manna, and died; he who is eating this bread shall live -- to the age.'આપણા પૂર્વજોએ રણમાં જે રોટલી ખાધી તેના જેવી રોટલી હું નથી. તેઓએ તે રોટલી ખાધી, પણ બધા લોકોની જેમ તેઓ મૃત્યુ પામ્યા. હું એ રોટલી છું જે આકાશમાંથી ઉતરી આવી છે. જે વ્યક્તિ આ રોટલી ખાય છે તે અનંતજીવન જીવશે.”

59 These things he said in a synagogue, teaching in Capernaum;આ બધી બાબતો કફર-નહૂમના શહેરના સભાસ્થાનમાં બોધ આપતો હતો ત્યારે કહી.

60 many, therefore, of his disciples having heard, said, `This word is hard; who is able to hear it?'ઈસુના શિષ્યોએ આ સાંભળ્યું, શિષ્યોમાંના ઘણાએ કહ્યું, “આ ઉપદેશ સ્વીકારવો ઘણો કઠિન છે. આ ઉપદેશ કોણ સ્વીકારી શકે?”

61 And Jesus having known in himself that his disciples are murmuring about this, said to them, `Doth this stumble you?ઈસુએ જાણ્યું કે તેના શિષ્યો આ વિષે ફરિયાદ કરે છે. તેથી ઈસુએ કહ્યું, “શૂં આ ઉપદેશ તમને ઠોકર ખવડાવે છે?

62 if then ye may behold the Son of Man going up where he was before?તો પછી માણસનો દીકરો જ્યાંથી આવ્યો તે જગ્યાએ પાછો ફરતો જોઈને તમને પણ ઠોકર લાગશે?

63 the spirit it is that is giving life; the flesh doth not profit anything; the sayings that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life;તે એ માંસ નથી જે વ્યક્તિને જીવન આપે છે. જે જીવાડે છે તે આત્મા છે; માંસથી કઈ લાભ થતો નથી. જે વાતો મેં તમને કહી છે, તે આત્મા તથા જીવન છે.

64 but there are certain of you who do not believe;' for Jesus had known from the beginning who they are who are not believing, and who is he who will deliver him up,તમારામાંના કેટલાક વિશ્વાસ કરતા નથી.” (ઈસુ જે વિશ્વાસ કરતા નથી તે લોકોને જાણે છે. ઈસુએ આરંભથી જ આ વાતો જાણી અને કયો માણસ તેનો દ્રોહ કરવાનો છે તે પણ ઈસુએ જાણ્યું.)

65 and he said, `Because of this I have said to you -- No one is able to come unto me, if it may not have been given him from my Father.'ઈસુએ કહ્યું, “આ કારણે જ મેં કહ્યું, ‘જો પિતા કોઈ વ્યક્તિને મારી પાસે આવવા નહિ દે તો પછી તે વ્યક્તિ મારી પાસે આવી શકશે નહિ.”‘

66 From this `time' many of his disciples went away backward, and were no more walking with him,આ બાબતો ઈસુએ કહ્યા પછી, ઈસુના ઘણા શિષ્યો તેને છોડી ગયા. તેઓએ ઈસુની પાછળ જવાનું બંધ કર્યુ.

67 Jesus, therefore, said to the twelve, `Do ye also wish to go away?'ઈસુએ બાર પ્રેરિતોને પૂછયું, “તમે પણ મને છોડીને જવા ઈચ્છો છો?”

68 Simon Peter, therefore, answered him, `Sir, unto whom shall we go? thou hast sayings of life age-during;સિમોન પિતરે ઈસુને ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “પ્રભુ, અમે ક્યાં જઈશુ? તારી પાસે જે વાતો છે તે અનંતજીવન આપશે.

69 and we have believed, and we have known, that thou art the Christ, the Son of the living God.'અમને તારામાં વિશ્વાસ છે. અમે જાણીએ છીએ કે દેવનો પવિત્ર એક તું જ છે.”

70 Jesus answered them, `Did not I choose you -- the twelve? and of you -- one is a devil.પછી ઈસુએ ઉત્તર આપ્યો, “મેં તમારામાંથી તે બધા બાર પસંદ કર્યા છે છતાં પણ તમારામાંનો એક શેતાન છે.”

71 And he spake of Judas, Simon's `son', Iscariot, for he was about to deliver him up, being one of the twelve.ઈસુ સિમોનના દીકરા યહૂદા ઈશ્કરિયોત વિષે વાત કરતોં હતો. યહૂદા બાર પ્રેરિતોમાંનો એક હતો. પરંતુ પાછળથી યહૂદા ઈસુને સુપ્રત કરનાર હતો.
