તેમનો પોકાર દેવ સુધી પહોંચે છે અને દેવ એ દુ:ખી લોકોનો સાદ સાંભળે છે.

| unto | דָּ֑ל | dāl | dahl |
| heareth he and him, | וְצַעֲקַ֖ת | wĕṣaʿăqat | veh-tsa-uh-KAHT |
| the cry | עֲנִיִּ֣ים | ʿăniyyîm | uh-nee-YEEM |
| of the afflicted. | יִשְׁמָֽע׃ | yišmāʿ | yeesh-MA |
