James 5 - DBY (Gujarati)

1 Go to now, ye rich, weep, howling over your miseries that [are] coming upon [you].તમે શ્રીમંતો, સાંભળો! રૂદન કરો અને ખૂબજ વ્યથિત થાવ. કારણ કે ઘણા સંકટો તમારા પર આવવાનાં છે.

2 Your wealth is become rotten, and your garments moth-eaten.વળી તમારી સમૃદ્ધિ સડી ગઇ છે, અને તેનું મૂલ્ય કશું જ રહ્યું નથી, તમારા વસ્ત્રો જીવજંતુ ખાઈ જશે.

3 Your gold and silver is eaten away, and their canker shall be for a witness against you, and shall eat your flesh as fire. Ye have heaped up treasure in [the] last days.તમારું સોનું અને ચાંદી કટાઈ જશે, અને તેનો કાટ તમારા ખોટાપણાની સાબિતી બનશે તે કાટ અજ્ઞિની જેમ તમારાં શરીરને ભરખી જશે. અંતકાળ સુધી તમે તમારો ખજાનો સંઘરી રાખ્યો છે.

4 Behold, the wages of your labourers, who have harvested your fields, wrongfully kept back by you, cry, and the cries of those that have reaped are entered into the ears of [the] Lord of sabaoth.લોકોએ તમારાં ખેતરોમા કામ કર્યું, પરંતુ તમે તેમને વળતર ચૂકવ્યું નહિ તેં લોકો તમારી વિરૂદ્ધ રૂદન કરી રહ્યા છે તે લોકોએ તમારા પાકની લણણી કરી. હવે આકાશના લશ્કરોના પ્રભુએ તેઓની બૂમો સાંભળી છે.

5 Ye have lived luxuriously on the earth and indulged yourselves; ye have nourished your hearts [as] in a day of slaughter;તમે પૃથ્વી પર મોજશોખ અને વિલાસી જીવન જીવો છો. તમે કાપાકાપીના દિવસ માટે તૈયાર પ્રાણીની જેમ તમારી જાતને સ્થૂળ બનાવી દીધી છે.

6 ye have condemned, ye have killed the just; he does not resist you.ન્યાયી પ્રત્યે તમે કોઈ દયા બતાવી નથી. તેઓ તમારી વિરૂદ્ધ નહોતા, છતાં તમે તેઓને મારી નાખ્યાં છે.

7 Have patience, therefore, brethren, till the coming of the Lord. Behold, the labourer awaits the precious fruit of the earth, having patience for it until it receive [the] early and [the] latter rain.ભાઈઓ અને બહેનો, ધીરજ રાખો, પ્રભુ ઈસુ આવશે; તેથી તે સમય સુધી ધીરજ રાખો. ખેડૂતો ધીરજવાન છે. ખેડૂત પોતાનો મૂલ્યવાન પાક જમીનમાંથી ઊંગે ત્યાં સુધી રાહ જુએ છે. ખેડૂત ધીરજથી પોતાના પાકને મળનાર પ્રથમ વરસાદ અને અંતિમ વરસાદની રાહ જુએ છે.

8 *Ye* also have patience: stablish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is drawn nigh.તમારે પણ ધીરજવાન થવું જોઈએે, આશા ન છોડશો. પ્રભુ ઈસુ ઘણો જલ્દી આવી રહ્યો છે.

9 Complain not one against another, brethren, that ye be not judged. Behold, the judge stands before the door.ભાઈઓ અને બહેનો, એક બીજાની વિરૂદ્ધ ફરિયાદ ન કરો. જો તમે ફરિયાદ કરતા નહિ અટકાશો, તો તમે દોષિત થશો. ન્યાયાધીશને આવવાની તૈયારી છે!

10 Take [as] an example, brethren, of suffering and having patience, the prophets, who have spoken in the name of [the] Lord.ભાઈઓ અને બહેનો, જે પ્રબોધકો એ પ્રભુ વિશે વાત કરેલી તેના ઉદાહરણને અનુસરો. તેઓએ ઘણી ખરાબ વસ્તુઓ સહન કરી, પણ તેઓએ ધીરજ રાખી.

11 Behold, we call them blessed who have endured. Ye have heard of the endurance of Job, and seen the end of the Lord; that the Lord is full of tender compassion and pitiful.જેઓએ ધીરજ રાખી છે તે લોકોનો ધન્ય છે. તેઓ અત્યારે સુખી છે. અયૂબની ધીરજ વિષે તમે સાંભળ્યું છે અને પ્રભુથી જે પરિણામ આવ્યું તે ઉપરથી તમે જોયું છે કે, પ્રભુ ઘણો દયાળુ તથા કૃપાળુ છે.

12 But before all things, my brethren, swear not, neither by heaven, nor by the earth, nor by any other oath; but let your yea be yea, and your nay, nay, that ye do not fall under judgment.મારા ભાઈઓ અને બહેનો, જ્યારે તમે વચન આપો ત્યારે સમ ન ખાઓ. તે ખૂબજ મહત્વનું છે કે તમે જે કહો છો તેને સાબિત કરવામાં આકાશ, ધરતી અથવા બીજી કોઈ પણ વસ્તુના નામના સમ ન ખાઓ. જ્યારે તમે હકારાત્મક છો ત્યારે માત્ર “હા” કહો અને નકારાત્મક છો, ત્યારે માત્ર “ના” કહો. આમ કરો કે જેથી તમે ગુનેગાર ન ઠરો.

13 Does any one among you suffer evil? let him pray. Is any happy? let him sing psalms.જો તમારામાં કોઈ દુ:ખી હોય, તો તેણે પ્રાર્થના કરવી જોઈએ. અને જો કોઈ આનંદિત બને તો, તેણે સ્તોત્ર ગાવું જોઈએ.

14 Is any sick among you? let him call to [him] the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of [the] Lord;જો તમારામાંનું કોઈ માંદુ પડે તો, તેણે મંડળીના વડીલોને બોલાવવા જોઈએ. વડીલોએ પ્રભુના નામે તેને તેલ ચોળીને તેને માટે પ્રાર્થના કરવી જોઈએ.

15 and the prayer of faith shall heal the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he be one who has committed sins, it shall be forgiven him.અને વિશ્વાસથી કરેલી પ્રાર્થના માંદા માણસને સાજો કરે છે. પ્રભુ તેને સાજો કરશે. અને આ માણસે જો પાપ કર્યા હશે તો દેવ તેને માફ કરશે.

16 Confess therefore your offences to one another, and pray for one another, that ye may be healed. [The] fervent supplication of the righteous [man] has much power.તમે જે ખરાબ કામ કર્યા હોય તે એકબીજાને કહો. અને પછી એકબીજા માટે પ્રાર્થના કરો. આમ કરો કે જેથી દેવ તમને સાજા કરી શકે. જો સારો માણસ આગ્રહથી પ્રાર્થના કરે તો મહાન કાર્યો થાય છે.

17 Elias was a man of like passions to us, and he prayed with prayer that it should not rain; and it did not rain upon the earth three years and six months;એલિયા સ્વભાવે આપણા જેવી જ વ્યક્તિ હતી. તેણે પ્રાર્થના કરી કે વરસાદ ન પડે. અને સાડા ત્રણ વરસ સુધી પૃથ્વી પર વરસાદ ન પડ્યો!

18 and again he prayed, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth caused its fruit to spring forth.પછી એલિયાએ પ્રાર્થના કરી કે વરસાદ પડે. અને આકાશમાંથી વરસાદ પડ્યો, અને ધરતીમાંથી પાક ઊગી નીકળ્યો.

19 My brethren, if any one among you err from the truth, and one bring him back,મારા ભાઈઓ અને બહેનો, જો તમારામાંનો કોઈ સત્યમાંથી ભૂલો પડે તો બીજી વ્યક્તિ તેને સત્ય તરફ પાછા વળવા મદદરુંપ બને.

20 let him know that he that brings back a sinner from [the] error of his way shall save a soul from death and shall cover a multitude of sins.યાદ રાખો: જે વ્યક્તિ પાપીને ખોટા માર્ગેથી પાછી વાળે છે, તે વ્યક્તિ તે વ્યક્તિના પ્રાણને મોતમાંથી બચાવે છે. આમ તે પાપોની ક્ષમા માટે નિમિત્ત બને છે.
