Isaiah 64 - BBE (Gujarati)

1 O let the heavens be broken open and come down, so that the mountains may be shaking before you, As when fire puts the brushwood in flames, or as when water is boiling from the heat of the fire: to make your name feared by your haters, so that the nations may be shaking before you;તમે આકાશ ફાડીને નીચે ઉતરી આવો! જેથી પર્વતો તમારી હાજરીમાં કંપી ઊઠે!

2 While you do acts of power for which we are not looking, and which have not come to the ears of men in the past.તમારા મહિમાનો અગ્નિ જંગલોને બાળી નાખે અને મહાસાગરોના પાણીને ઉકાળીને સૂકવી નાખે; પ્રજાઓ તમારી સમક્ષ ધ્રૂજી ઊઠે, ત્યાર પછી જ તમારા શત્રુઓ તમારી કીતિર્ અને સાર્મથ્યને સમજી શકશે.

3 The ear has not had news of, or the eye seen, ... any God but you, working for the man who is waiting for him.અમારી કલ્પનામાં ન આવે તેવાં પ્રભાવિત ભયંકર કામો જ્યારે કરતાં હતાં, તેવા એક સમયે તમે જ્યારે નીચે અવતરણ કર્યું, અને પર્વતોએ તમને નિહાળ્યા ત્યારેે તેઓ ભયથી કંપી ઊઠયા!

4 Will you not have mercy on him who takes pleasure in doing righteousness, even on those who keep in mind your ways? Truly you were angry, and we went on doing evil, and sinning against you in the past.કારણ કે પ્રાચીન સમયથી આજ સુધી કોઇપણ વ્યકિતએ બીજા કોઇ પણ વિષે જોયુ કે સાંભળ્યું નથી, સિવાય કે આપણા દેવ, જેણે તેઓની પ્રતિક્ષા કરનારાઓના હિતમાં કાર્ય કર્યા છે.

5 For we have all become like an unclean person, and all our good acts are like a dirty robe: and we have all become old like a dead leaf, and our sins, like the wind, take us away.આનંદથી ભલાં કાર્યો કરનારાઓને તથા દેવના માગેર્ ચાલનારા સૌને તમે આવકારો છો. પરંતુ અમે દેવનો ભય રાખનારા નથી; અમે સતત પાપ કર્યા કરીએ છીએ અને અમારા સમગ્ર જીવન દરમ્યાન પાપી જ રહ્યા છીએ. તેથી અમારા પર તમારો રોષ ભારે છે, અમે કઇ રીતે બચી શકીએ?

6 And there is no one who makes prayer to your name, or who is moved to keep true to you: for your face is veiled from us, and you have given us into the power of our sins.અમે બધા અપવિત્ર થઇ ગયા છીએ. અમારાં ધર્મકાર્યો સુદ્ધાં મેલા વસ્ત્રો જેવા છે. અમે બધાં પાંદડાની જેમ ચીમળાઇ ગયા છીએ અને અમારાં પાપ પવનની જેમ અમને તાણી જાય છે.

7 But now, O Lord, you are our father; we are the earth, and you are our maker; and we are all the work of your hand.કોઇ તમારા નામે વિનંતી કરતા નથી, કે કોઇ તમને વળગી રહેવા પ્રયત્ન કરતું નથી. તેં તારું મુખ અમારાથી ફેરવી લીધું છે અને અમને અમારાં દુષ્કમોર્ને હવાલે કરી દીધા છે.

8 Be not very angry, O Lord, and do not keep our sins in mind for ever: give ear to our prayer, for we are all your people.હે યહોવા, હવે તમે અમારા પિતા છો; અમે માટી અને તમે કુંભાર છો. અમે સર્વ તમારા હાથોની કૃતિઓ છીએ.

9 Your holy towns have become a waste, Zion has become a waste, Jerusalem is a mass of broken walls.હે યહોવા, વધારે કોપ કરશો નહિ, અમારાં પાપ સદા સંભારશો નહિ! જરા અમારા સામું જુઓ! અમે બધા તમારી પ્રજા છીએ.

10 Our holy and beautiful house, where our fathers gave praise to you, is burned with fire; and all the things of our desire have come to destruction.તમારાં પવિત્ર નગરો અત્યારે નિર્જન પ્રદેશ જેવા થઇ ગયા છે, સિયોન વેરાન થઇ ગયું છે. યરૂશાલેમ ઉજ્જડ અરણ્ય થઇ ગયું છે.

11 In view of all this, will you still do nothing, O Lord? will you keep quiet, and go on increasing our punishment?અમારું પવિત્ર અને ભવ્ય મંદિર, જ્યાં અમારા પિતૃઓ તમારી સ્તુતિ કરતા હતા, તે બળીને ખાખ થઇ ગયું છે; જે જોઇને અમે આનંદ પામતા હતા, તે બધું ખંડેર બની ગયું છે.

12 []આમ છતાં, હે યહોવા, શું તમે સહાય કરવાની ના કરશો! શું તમારું હૃદય નહિ દ્રવે? શું હજુ પણ તમે શાંત રહેશો અને અમને અપાર વેદના આપતા રહેશો?
