Isaiah 28 - BBE (Gujarati)

1 Ho! crown of pride of those who are given up to wine in Ephraim, and the dead flower of his glory which is on the head of those who are overcome by strong drink!અફસોસ છે એફ્રાઇમના ધનવાન લોકો અહંકારી, છાકટા અને પૌષ્ટિક ખોરાકથી હષ્ટપુષ્ટ થયેલાં છે. પરંતુ તેઓ જંગલી ફૂલ કે પાંદડાના હારની જેમ ક્ષીણ થઇ જશે.

2 See, the Lord has a strong and cruel one; like a rain of ice, a storm of destruction, like the overflowing of a strong river, he will violently overcome them.કારણ કે યહોવા મારા દેવ તમારી વિરુદ્ધ આશ્શૂરના મહાન સૈન્યને મોકલશે; તે કરાના ભયંકર તોફાનની જેમ તમારા પર, વિનાશ વેરનાર વાવાઝોડાની જેમ, તોફાને ચઢેલાં ઊભરાતાં પાણીના ઘસમસતા પૂરની જેમ ધસી આવશે, ને તેમને ભોંયભેગા કરીને પછાડશે.

3 The crown of pride of those who are given up to wine in Ephraim will be crushed under foot;ઇસ્રાએલના છાકટા આગેવાનોના તુમાખીભર્યા મુગટો પગ તળે કચરાશે.

4 And the dead flower of his glory, which is on the head of the fertile valley, will be like the first early fruit before the summer; which a man takes and puts in his mouth the minute he sees it.અને તેમના માથાં પરનાં કરમાતાં ફૂલો જેવી તેમની જાહોજલાલી હશે અને પૌષ્ટિક ખોરાકથી હષ્ટપુષ્ટ અને ઋતુંનાં પહેલાં પાકેલાં અંજીર જેવી થશે, જે નજરે ચડતાં જ ચૂંટાઇને ખવાઇ જાય છે.

5 In that day will the Lord of armies be a crown of glory, and a fair ornament, to the rest of his people;યહોવાના જે લોકો બચી ગયા હશે, તેઓ માટે છેવટે સૈન્યોનો દેવ યહોવા પોતે “મહિમાનો મુગટ” અને “સૌદંર્યનો તાજ થશે.”

6 And a spirit of wisdom to the judge, and strength to those who keep back the attackers at the door of the town.તે ન્યાયાસન ઉપર બેસનારાઓમાં ન્યાયની ભાવના પ્રેરશે અને દુશ્મનોથી નગરના દરવાજાઓનું રક્ષણ કરનારાઓને બહાદુર બનાવશે.

7 And further, these are uncertain through wine, and have gone out of the right way through strong drink: the priest and the prophet are uncertain through strong drink, they are overcome by wine, they have gone out of the way through strong drink; their vision is false, they go wrong in their decisions.યાજકો અને પ્રબોધકો પણ દ્રાક્ષારસ પીને લથડીયાં ખાય છે; દ્રાક્ષારસથી તેમના ચિત્ત ડહોળાઇ ગયા છે, તેઓ દિવ્ય દર્શનના અર્થઘટનમાં ગોથાં ખાય છે, ચુકાદો આપવામાં ગૂંચવાય છે.

8 For all the tables are covered with coughed-up food, so that there is not a clean place.તેઓનાં બધાં મેજ ઊલટીથી ભરાઇ ગયાં છે, કોઇ જગા ચોખ્ખી રહેવા પામી નથી.

9 To whom will he give knowledge? and to whom will he make clear the word? Will it be to those who have newly given up milk, and who have only now been taken from the breast?લોકો કહે છે, “યશાયા પોતાના મનમાં શું સમજે છે કે આપણી સાથે આ પ્રમાણે વાત કરે? અમે શું હમણા જ બોલતા શીખ્યા હોય એવા નાનાં બાળકો છીએ? “

10 For it is one rule after another; one line after another; here a little, there a little.પણ તે આ પ્રમાણે સંભળાશે,“ત્સવ, લે સ્તવ, સ્તવ, લે સ્તવ, કવ, લેકવ, કવ, લેકવ, ઝર શામ, ઝર શામ!”

11 No, but with broken talk, and with a strange tongue, he will give his word to this people:એટલે યહોવા આ લોકોની સાથે વાત કરશે, તેમને પાઠ ભણાવવા અન્ય ભાષા બોલનાર વિદેશીઓને મોકલશે.

12 To whom he said, This is the rest, give rest to him who is tired; and by this you may get new strength; but they would not give ear.તેણે તેઓને કહ્યું હતું કે, “અહીં વિશ્રામ છે. થાક્યા હોય તે વિશ્રામ કરે. અહીં શાંતિ છે,” પણ તેમણે કાને ન ધર્યુ.

13 For this cause the word of the Lord will be to them rule after rule, line after line, here a little, there a little; so that they may go on their way, and falling back may be broken, and taken in the net.તેથી હવે યહોવાના શબ્દો પણ તેમનેઆ પ્રમાણે સંભળાશે,“ત્સ, લેત્સવ, સ્ત, લેસ્તવ, કવ, લેકવ, કવ, લેકવ, કવ, લેકવ, ઝર શામ, ઝર શામ.”તેથી તેઓ પોતાના રસ્તે જવાનું રાખે, અને ઠોકર ખાઇને પાછા પડે, તૂટી પડે અને સપડાવીને કબ્જે કરાય.

14 Give ear then to the word of the Lord, you men of pride, the rulers of this people in Jerusalem:માટે યરૂશાલેમના લોકો પર રાજ્ય કરતાઓ ઘમંડી માણસો, તમે યહોવાના વચન સાંભળો!

15 Because you have said, We have made death our friend, and with the underworld we have made an agreement; when the overflowing waters come through they will not come near us; for we are looking to false words for help, taking cover in what is untrue:કારણ કે તમે એમ કહો છો કે, અમે મૃત્યુ સાથે કરાર કર્યો છે, અમે શેઓલની સાથે સમજૂતી કરી છે; જ્યારે વિનાશનો ચાબખો વીંજાશે ત્યારે તે અમને સ્પર્શ કરશે નહિ, કારણ કે અમે જૂઠાણાનો આશ્રય લીધો છે, અને અમારી જાતને જુઠ્ઠાણામાં છુપાવી દીધી છે.

16 For this cause says the Lord God, See, I am placing in Zion as a base, a stone, a tested stone, an angle-stone which is certain and of great value: and he who has faith will not give way.તેથી યહોવા મારા દેવ કહે છે કે, “જુઓ, હું સિયોનમાં પાયાનો પથ્થર મૂકું છું, જે નક્કર અને મજબૂત છે. જે માણસ વિશ્વાસ રાખે છે તે ગભરાતો નથી.

17 And I will make right decision the measuring-line, and righteousness the weight: and the ice-storm will take away the safe place of false words, and the secret place will be covered by the flowing waters.“હું ન્યાયની દોરી અને ન્યાયીપણાનો ઓળંબો લઇ ચણતર કરીશ, કરાંનું તોફાન તમારા જૂઠાણાના આશ્રયને ઘસડીને લઇ જશે, અને પાણીનું પૂર તમારી સંતાઇ જવાની જગા પર ફરી વળશે.

18 And the help you were looking for from death will come to nothing, and your agreement with the underworld will be broken; when the overflowing waters come through, then you will be overcome by them.ત્યારે તમારો મૃત્યુ સાથેનો કરાર રદ થશે, અને શેઓલ સાથેની તમારી સમજૂતી ટકશે નહિ, જ્યારે વિનાશનો ચાબખો વિંઝાશે ત્યારે તમે તેનાથી પટકાઇ પડશો.

19 Whenever they come through they will overtake you; for they will come through morning after morning, by day and by night: and the news will be nothing but fear.“તે જેટલી વાર વિંઝાશે તેટલી વાર તે તમને પકડશે; પ્રતિદિન સવારે, રાતદિવસ તે વિંઝાશે, એના સમાચાર માત્રથી ભય વ્યાપી જશે.

20 For the bed is not long enough for a man to be stretched out on: and the cover is not wide enough for him to be covered with.“તમે તૈયાર કરેલી પથારી એટલી ટૂંકી છે કે તેના પર સૂઇ શકાય નહિ; અને ઓઢવાનું એટલું સાંકડું છે કે તમને ઢાંકી શકે નહિ.”

21 For the Lord will come up as on Mount Perazim, he will be moved to wrath as in the valley of Gibeon; so that he may do his work--strange is his work; and give effect to his act--unnatural is his act.કારણ કે તે પરાસીમના પર્વત પર અને ગિબયોનની ખીણમાં રોષે ભરાઇ ઉભો થઇ જશે, અને અસાધારણ તથા અનોખું કાર્ય કરશે!

22 And now, take care that you do not make sport of him, or your bands will be made strong; for I have had word from the Lord, the Lord of armies, of an end, of a complete end, which is to come on all the land.એટલે હવે તમે હાંસી ઉડાવશો નહિ. નહિ તો તમારી સાંકળો મજબૂત થઇ જશે. સૈન્યોના દેવ યહોવાએ છોડેલી આખા દેશના વિનાશની આજ્ઞા મેં સાંભળી છે.

23 Let your ears be open to my voice; give attention to what I say.ધ્યાનથી મારી વાણી સાંભળો! ધ્યાન દઇને મારું વચન સાંભળો.

24 Is the ploughman for ever ploughing? does he not get the earth ready and broken up for the seed?શું ખેડુત ખેતર ખેડ્યા જ કરે અને વાવણી જ ન કરે એવું બને ખરું? તે શું ચાલુ જમીન ખોદ્યા જ કરે છે અને રાંપડી જ ફેરવ્યા કરે છે?

25 When the face of the earth has been levelled, does he not put in the different sorts of seed, and the grain in lines, and the barley in its place, and the spelt at the edge?તેની જમીનની સપાટી સરખી કરીને તે તેમાં સૂવા કે જીરું વાવતો નથી? અને ચાસમાં ઘઉં, ને નક્કી કરેલી જગાએ જવ, ને યોગ્ય ઋતુંમાં શું તે બાજરી વાવતો નથી?

26 For his God is his teacher, giving him the knowledge of these things.કારણ કે તેને તેના દેવે શિક્ષણ આપીને યોગ્ય જ્ઞાન આપ્યુ હોય છે.

27 For the fitches are not crushed with a sharp instrument, and a cart-wheel is not rolled over the cummin; but the grain of the fitches is hammered out with a stick, and of the cummin with a rod.કારણ કે સૂવા ધારદાર શસ્રથી મસળાતા નથી કે જીરાના દાણા પર ગાડાનું પૈડું ફેરવાતું નથી. સૂવા લાકડીથી ઝુડાય છે અને જીરું ઝૂડિયાથી ઝૂડાય છે.

28 Is the grain for bread crushed? He does not go on crushing it for ever, but he lets his cart-wheels and his horses go over it without crushing it.ઘઉં સરળતાથી દળાય છે તેથી તે તેને સતત ઝાડ્યા કરતો નથી અને એક વ્યકિત અનાજના દાણા પર ગાડાનું પૈડું ફેરવે છે છતાં પણ તે દાણાને તોડી નાખતો નથી.

29 This comes from the Lord of armies, purposing wonders, and wise in all his acts.એ જ્ઞાન પણ સૈન્યોના દેવ યહોવા પાસેથી મળે છે, જેની સલાહ અદૃભુત છે અને જેનું શાણપણ અજબ છે.
