Isaiah 2 - YLT (Gujarati)

1 The thing that Isaiah son of Amoz hath seen concerning Judah and Jerusalem:એક બીજો સંદેશ જેની ભવિષ્યવાણી આમોસના પુત્ર યશાયાએ યહૂદા અને યરૂશાલેમ માટે કરી, તે આ પ્રમાણે છે.

2 And it hath come to pass, In the latter end of the days, Established is the mount of Jehovah's house, Above the top of the mounts, And it hath been lifted up above the heights, And flowed unto it have all the nations.છેલ્લા કાળમાં, યહોવાના મંદિરનો પર્વતના શિખરો પર સ્થાપન થશે. અને બીજા બધા શિખરોથી ઉંચો જશે. દેશવિદેશનાં અસંખ્ય લોકોનો પ્રવાહ ત્યાં પગે ચાલતો આવશે.

3 And gone have many peoples and said, `Come, and we go up unto the mount of Jehovah, Unto the house of the God of Jacob, And He doth teach us of His ways, And we walk in His paths, For from Zion goeth forth a law, And a word of Jehovah from Jerusalem.દરેક જણ કહેશે, “ચાલો, આપણે યહોવાના પર્વત પાસે, યાકૂબના દેવના મંદિર પાસે, ચઢી જઇએ; જેથી તે આપણને પોતાનો જીવનમાર્ગ બતાવે અને આપણે તેના માગેર્ ચાલીએ, કારણ, યહોવા નિયમશાસ્ત્ર સિયોનનગરીમાંથી અને યરૂશાલેમમાંથી પોતાનાં વચન આપનાર છે, અને તેની વાણી ત્યાંથી પ્રગટ થનાર છે.”

4 And He hath judged between the nations, And hath given a decision to many peoples, And they have beat their swords to ploughshares, And their spears to pruning-hooks, Nation doth not lift up sword unto nation, Nor do they learn any more -- war.તે વિદેશીઓમાં ન્યાય કરશે. તે અસંખ્ય પ્રજાઓનો ન્યાય કરશે. ત્યારે લોકો તરવારને ટીપીને હળનાં ફળાં બનાવશે તથા ભાલાઓનાઁ દાંતરડાં બનાવશે; પ્રજાઓ એકબીજા સામે તરવાર નહિ ઉગામે કે કદી યુદ્ધની તાલીમ નહિ લે.

5 O house of Jacob, come, And we walk in the light of Jehovah.'હે યાકૂબના વંશજો, ચાલો, આપણે યહોવાના પ્રકાશમાં ચાલીએ.

6 For Thou hast left Thy people, the house of Jacob. For they have been filled from the east, And `are' sorcerers like the Philistines, And with the children of strangers strike hands.હે યાકૂબના કુળો, તમે તમારા લોકોને છોડી દીધા છે. તેઓ પૂર્વ દેશોના અને પલિસ્તીના ધંતરમંતર કામણટૂમણ ને વહેમોમાં તથા વિદેશીઓના રસ્તા અને રીતરિવાજોને અનુસરે છે.

7 And its land is full of silver and gold, And there is no end to its treasures, And its land is full of horses, And there is no end to its chariots,વળી તેમનો દેશ સોનાચાંદીથી ભરપૂર છે. તેમના ભંડારનો કોઇ પાર નથી. તેમનો દેશ ઘોડાઓથી ભરાઇ ગયો છે. તેમના રથોનો કોઇ પાર નથી.

8 And its land is full of idols, To the work of its hands it boweth itself, To that which its fingers have made,તેમનો દેશ મૂર્તિઓથી ભરાઇ ગયો છે, તેઓ પોતાને હાથે ઘડેલી વસ્તુને પૂજે છે.

9 And the low boweth down, and the high is humbled, And Thou acceptest them not.સૌ કોઇને નીચા પાડવામાં આવશે. સૌને નીચા નમાવવામાં આવશે. તું એમને માફ કરીશ નહિ.

10 Enter into a rock, and be hidden in dust, Because of the fear of Jehovah, And because of the honour of His excellency.પોતાને યહોવાની મહાનતા અને તેમની ભવ્યતાના મહિમાંથી બચવા ખડકોમાં શરણ શોધો, જમીનમાં સંતાઇ જાઓ.

11 The haughty eyes of man have been humbled, And bowed down hath been the loftiness of men, And set on high hath Jehovah alone been in that day.તે દિવસે માણસના ગર્વને નીચો નમાવવામાં આવશે. અને પુરુષોનું અભિમાન ઉતારવામાં આવશે અને ફકત યહોવાનો જ મહિમા કરવામાં આવશે.

12 For a day `is' to Jehovah of Hosts, For every proud and high one, And for every lifted up and low one,કારણ, સૈન્યોનો દેવ યહોવાએ જે કઇં ગવિર્ષ્ઠ અને અભિમાની છે, જે કઇં ઊંચુ છે તે બધાને નમાવવા માટે એક દિવસ નક્કી કરેલો છે.

13 And for all cedars of Lebanon, The high and the exalted ones, And for all oaks of Bashan,લબાનોનનાં ઊંચાં દેવદાર અને બાશાનનાં મજબૂત એલોનવૃક્ષોને નીચાં નમાવવામાં આવશે.

14 And for all the high mountains, And for all the exalted heights,સર્વ ઊંચા ઊંચા પર્વતોને, ડુંગરોને ભોંયભેગા કરવામાં આવશે.

15 And for every high tower, And for every fenced wall,સર્વ ઊંચા મિનારાને અને બધા જ કિલ્લાના કોટોને ભોંયભેગા કરવામાં આવશે.

16 And for all ships of Tarshish, And for all desirable pictures.તાશીર્શનાં ભવ્ય વહાણોને ડૂબાડી દેવામાં આવશે.

17 And bowed down hath been the haughtiness of man, And humbled the loftiness of men, And set on high hath Jehovah alone been in that day.તે દિવસે, માણસનો ગર્વ નીચો નમાવવામાં આવશે. અને તેનું અભિમાન ઉતારી નાખવામાં આવશે. અને માત્ર યહોવા એકલાનો જ મહિમા કરવામાં આવશે,

18 And the idols -- they completely pass away.અને બીજી મૂર્તિઓ તો બિલકુલ સમાપ્ત થઇ જશે.

19 And `men' have entered into caverns of rocks, And into caves of dust, Because of the fear of Jehovah, And because of the honour of His excellency, In His rising to terrify the earth.યહોવા પૃથ્વીને ધ્રુજાવવા આવે ત્યારે લોકો તેના રોષથી અને તેના પ્રતાપના તેજથી બચવા પર્વતોની ગુફાઓમાં અને જમીનની ફાંટોમાં ભરાઇ જશે.

20 In that day doth man cast his idols of silver, And his idols of gold, That they have made for him to worship, To moles, and to bats,તે દિવસે માણસ પોતે બનાવેલી સોનાચાંદીની મૂર્તિઓને ફેંકી દેશે. તેઓ એ બધી મૂર્તિઓને છછૂંદર અને ચામાચિડિયા માટે ફગાવી દેશે.

21 To enter into cavities of the rocks, And into clefts of the high places, Because of the fear of Jehovah, And because of the honour of His excellency, In His rising to terrify the earth.જ્યારે યહોવા પૃથ્વીને ૂજાવવા માટે આવે ત્યારે તેના રોષથી, અને તેના પ્રતાપના તેજથી બચવા લોકો પર્વતોની ફાંટોમાં અને ખડકોની તિરાડોમાં ભરાઇ જશે.

22 Cease for you from man, Whose breath `is' in his nostrils, For -- in what is he esteemed?હવે માણસને ભરોસે રહેશો નહિ, કારણ એની શી વિસાત છે? જેનો શ્વાસ તેના નસકોરાંમાં જ છે.
